1. 1ROBИз Египта Аврам отправился на юг с женой и со всем, что у него было, и Лот с ними.BSBBSB: So Abram went up out of Egypt into the Negev—he and his wife and all his possessions—and Lot was with him.
2. 2ROBАврам был очень богат скотом, серебром и золотом.BSBBSB: And Abram had become extremely wealthy in livestock and silver and gold.
3. 3ROBОн продолжал свой путь от юга до Вефиля, до места между Вефилем и Гаем, где раньше был его шатёр,BSBBSB: From the Negev he journeyed from place to place toward Bethel, until he came to the place between Bethel and Ai where his tent had formerly been pitched,
4. 4ROBдо места жертвенника, который он построил там в начале. И там Аврам призвал имя Господа.BSBBSB: to the site where he had built the altar. And there Abram called on the name of the LORD.
5. 5ROBУ Лота, который ходил с Аврамом, тоже был мелкий и крупный скот и шатры.BSBBSB: Now Lot, who was traveling with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents.
6. 6ROBИ земля не вмещала их, чтобы они жили вместе, потому что их имущества было так много, что они не могли жить вместе.BSBBSB: But the land was unable to support both of them while they stayed together, for they had so many possessions that they were unable to coexist.
7. 7ROBИ был спор между пастухами Аврама и пастухами Лота. В той земле тогда жили хананеи и ферезеи.BSBBSB: And there was discord between the herdsmen of Abram and the herdsmen of Lot. At that time the Canaanites and the Perizzites were also living in the land.
8. 8ROBИ Аврам сказал Лоту:«Пусть не будет раздора между мной и тобой, между моими и твоими пастухами, потому что мы родственники,BSBBSB: So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no contention between you and me, or between your herdsmen and my herdsmen. After all, we are kinsmen.
9. 9ROBне вся ли земля перед тобой? Отделись от меня: если ты налево, то я направо, а если ты направо, то я налево».BSBBSB: Is not the whole land before you? Now separate yourself from me. If you go to the left, I will go to the right; if you go to the right, I will go to the left.”
10. 10ROBЛот поднял свои глаза и увидел всю иорданскую окрестность, что она вся орошалась водой до Сигора, как сад Господа, как земля Египта, до того, как Господь уничтожил Содом и Гоморру.BSBBSB: And Lot looked out and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan, all the way to Zoar, was well watered like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt. (This was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.)
11. 11ROBЛот избрал себе всю окрестность Иордана и отправился на восток. И они отделились друг от друга.BSBBSB: So Lot chose the whole plain of the Jordan for himself and set out toward the east. And Abram and Lot parted company.
12. 12ROBАврам стал жить на земле Ханаана, а Лот стал жить в окрестных городах и раскинул шатры до Содома.BSBBSB: Abram lived in the land of Canaan, but Lot settled in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent toward Sodom.
13. 13ROBЖители Содома были злыми и очень грешными перед Господом.BSBBSB: But the men of Sodom were wicked, sinning greatly against the LORD.
14. 14ROBПосле того как Лот отделился от Аврама, Господь сказал Авраму:«Подними свои глаза с этого места, на котором ты сейчас, посмотри на север и на юг, на восток и на запад,BSBBSB: After Lot had departed, the LORD said to Abram, “Now lift up your eyes from the place where you are, and look to the north and south and east and west,
15. 15ROBтак как всю землю, которую ты видишь, Я дам тебе и твоему потомству навсегда.BSBBSB: for all the land that you see, I will give to you and your offspring forever.
16. 16ROBТвоё потомство сделаю, как песок земли. Если кто сможет сосчитать земной песок, то и твоё потомство будет сочтено.BSBBSB: I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if one could count the dust of the earth, then your offspring could be counted.
17. 17ROBВстань, пройди по этой земле вдоль и поперёк, потому что Я дам её тебе».BSBBSB: Get up and walk around the land, through its length and breadth, for I will give it to you.”
18. 18ROBИ Аврам собрал шатёр, пошёл и поселился у дубравы Мамре, которая в Хевроне, и там построил жертвенник Господу.BSBBSB: So Abram moved his tent and went to live near the Oaks of Mamre at Hebron, where he built an altar to the LORD.
