Genesis 21 (ROB)

1Господь, как и обещал, обратил внимание на Сарру и сделал для неё всё, как сказал.Now the LORD attended to Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah what He had promised.

2Сарра забеременела и родила Аврааму сына, когда тот был уже стар, в то время, о котором говорил ему Бог.So Sarah conceived and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised.

3Авраам назвал своего сына, которого ему родила Сарра, Исаак.And Abraham gave the name Isaac to the son Sarah bore to him.

4На восьмой день Авраам обрезал своего сына Исаака, как велел ему Бог.When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him, as God had commanded him.

5Аврааму было сто лет, когда у него родился сын Исаак.Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.

6И Сарра сказала:«Бог рассмешил меня, и кто бы ни услышал обо мне— рассмеётся».Then Sarah said, “God has made me laugh, and everyone who hears of this will laugh with me.”

7И ещё сказала:«Кто бы сказал Аврааму, что Сарра будет кормить детей грудью? Ведь я в старости родила сына».She added, “Who would have told Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.”

8Ребёнок вырос и был отнят от груди. В тот день, когда Исаак был отнят от груди, Авраам устроил большой пир.So the child grew and was weaned, and Abraham held a great feast on the day Isaac was weaned.

9Сарра увидела, что сын, которого родила египтянка Агарь Аврааму, насмехается над её сыном Исааком.But Sarah saw that the son whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham was mocking her son,

10Сарра сказала Аврааму:«Выгони эту рабыню и её сына, потому что сын этой рабыни не будет наследником наравне с моим сыном Исааком».and she said to Abraham, “Expel the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac!”

11Авраам очень огорчился от слов, сказанных о его сыне Измаиле.Now this matter distressed Abraham greatly because it concerned his son Ishmael.

12Но Бог сказал Аврааму:«Не огорчайся из- за мальчика и твоей рабыни. Во всём, что скажет тебе Сарра, будь послушен, потому что в Исааке будет названо твоё потомство.But God said to Abraham, “Do not be distressed about the boy and your maidservant. Listen to everything that Sarah tells you, for through Isaac your offspring will be reckoned.

13И от сына рабыни Я произведу народ, потому что и он тоже твой потомок».But I will also make a nation of the slave woman’s son, because he is your offspring.”

14Авраам встал рано утром, взял хлеб и бурдюк с водой, дал его Агари, положив ей на плечи, и отпустил её вместе с мальчиком. Она пошла и заблудилась в пустыне Вирсавии.Early in the morning, Abraham got up, took bread and a skin of water, put them on Hagar’s shoulders, and sent her away with the boy. She left and wandered in the Wilderness of Beersheba.

15Когда вода в бурдюке закончилась, она оставила мальчика под кустом,When the water in the skin was gone, she left the boy under one of the bushes.

16а сама отошла и села вдали на расстоянии выстрела из лука. Она сказала:«Не хочу видеть смерть сына». Она села напротив него, подняла вопль и заплакала.Then she went off and sat down nearby, about a bowshot away, for she said, “I cannot bear to watch the boy die!” And as she sat nearby, she lifted up her voice and wept.

17Бог услышал голос мальчика, и Божий ангел с неба обратился к Агари и сказал:«Что с тобой, Агарь? Не бойся. Бог услышал голос мальчика оттуда, где он находится.Then God heard the voice of the boy, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, “What is wrong, Hagar? Do not be afraid, for God has heard the voice of the boy where he lies.

18Встань, подними сына и возьми его за руку. Я произведу от него великий народ».Get up, lift up the boy, and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.”

19Бог открыл её глаза, и она увидела колодец с проточной водой. Агарь подошла, наполнила бурдюк и напоила сына.Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink.

20Бог был с мальчиком. Он вырос, поселился в пустыне и стал стрелком из лука.And God was with the boy, and he grew up and settled in the wilderness and became a great archer.

21Он жил в пустыне Фарран. Его мать взяла ему жену из египетской земли.And while he was dwelling in the Wilderness of Paran, his mother got a wife for him from the land of Egypt.

22В то время Авимелех с военачальником Фихолом сказал Аврааму:«Во всём, что бы ты ни делал, Бог с тобой.At that time Abimelech and Phicol the commander of his army said to Abraham, “God is with you in all that you do.

23И теперь здесь поклянись мне Богом, что ты не обидишь ни меня, ни моего сына, ни моего внука. И как я хорошо поступал с тобой, так и ты будешь поступать со мной и землёй, в которой ты гостишь».Now, therefore, swear to me here before God that you will not deal falsely with me or my children or descendants. Show to me and to the country in which you reside the same kindness that I have shown to you.”

24Авраам сказал:«Я клянусь».And Abraham replied, “I swear it.”

25Авраам упрекал Авимелеха за колодец с водой, который отняли у него рабы Авимелеха.But when Abraham complained to Abimelech about a well that Abimelech’s servants had seized,

26Но Авимелех сказал ему:«Я не знаю, кто это сделал. Ты не говорил мне об этом. Я даже и не слышал об этом до этого дня».Abimelech replied, “I do not know who has done this. You did not tell me, so I have not heard about it until today.”

27Авраам взял мелкий и крупный скот и дал Авимелеху, и они оба заключили союз.So Abraham brought sheep and cattle and gave them to Abimelech, and the two men made a covenant.

28Авраам отдельно поставил семь овец из стада мелкого скота.Abraham separated seven ewe lambs from the flock,

29Авимелех спросил Авраама:«Зачем здесь семь овец, которых ты поставил отдельно?»and Abimelech asked him, “Why have you set apart these seven ewe lambs?”

30Авраам сказал:«Прими от меня семь этих овец, чтобы они были свидетельством того, что я выкопал этот колодец».He replied, “You are to accept the seven ewe lambs from my hand as my witness that I dug this well.”

31Он назвал это место Вирсавией, потому что здесь они оба дали клятву.So that place was called Beersheba, because it was there that the two of them swore an oath.

32И заключили союз в Вирсавии. Авимелех и его военачальник Фихол встали и вернулись в филистимскую землю.After they had made the covenant at Beersheba, Abimelech and Phicol the commander of his army got up and returned to the land of the Philistines.

33Авраам насадил около Вирсавии рощу и призвал там имя Господа, вечного Бога.And Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called upon the name of the LORD, the Eternal God.

34Долгое время Авраам жил в филистимской земле как странник.And Abraham resided in the land of the Philistines for a long time.
