1 ROB Я встал на стражу и, стоя на башне, ожидал, чтобы узнать, что Он скажет, и что ответит мне на мою жалобу? BSB BSB: I will stand at my guard post and station myself on the ramparts. I will watch to see what He will say to me, and how I should answer when corrected.
2 ROB И ответил мне Господь: "Запиши видение и напиши его понятно на каменных табличках, чтобы читающий мог легко прочитать. BSB BSB: Then the LORD answered me: “Write down this vision and clearly inscribe it on tablets, so that a herald may run with it.
3 ROB Потому что видение относится ещё и к определённому времени, говорит о конце и не обманывает. И даже если бы оно опоздало, жди его, потому что оно непременно сбудется и не отменится. BSB BSB: For the vision awaits an appointed time; it testifies of the end and does not lie. Though it lingers, wait for it, since it will surely come and will not delay.
4 ROB Надменная душа не успокоится, а праведный будет жив своей верой. BSB BSB: Look at the proud one; his soul is not upright—but the righteous will live by faith—
5 ROB Надменный человек, как бродящее вино, не успокаивается. Он расширяет свою душу, как ад, и он ненасытен, как смерть. Он собирает к себе все народы и захватывает себе все племена. BSB BSB: and wealth indeed betrays him. He is an arrogant man never at rest. He enlarges his appetite like Sheol, and like Death, he is never satisfied. He gathers all the nations to himself and collects all the peoples as his own.
6 ROB Но разве не все они будут рассказывать о нём насмешливую историю и петь насмешливую песню: "Горе тому, кто копит чужое добро, кто богатеет на взятом в долг! Надолго ли это?" BSB BSB: Will not all of these take up a taunt against him, speaking with mockery and derision: ‘Woe to him who amasses what is not his and makes himself rich with many loans! How long will this go on?’
7 ROB Не восстанут ли внезапно те, кто будет мучить тебя, и не поднимутся ли против тебя грабители, и ты достанешься им в добычу? BSB BSB: Will not your creditors suddenly arise and those who disturb you awaken? Then you will become their prey.
8 ROB Так как ты ограбил многие народы, то и тебя ограбят все остальные народы за то, что ты пролил человеческую кровь, за то, что разорил страны, города и всех живущих в них. BSB BSB: Because you have plundered many nations, the remnant of the people will plunder you—because of your bloodshed against man and your violence against the land, the city, and all their dwellers.
9 ROB Горе тому, кто жаждет неправедных приобретений для своего дома, чтобы устроить своё гнездо на высоте и тем обезопасить себя от руки несчастья! BSB BSB: Woe to him who builds his house by unjust gain, to place his nest on high and escape the hand of disaster!
10 ROB Ты задумал позорное для своего дома, истребляя многие народы, и согрешил против своей души. BSB BSB: You have plotted shame for your house by cutting off many peoples and forfeiting your life.
11 ROB Камни из стен закричат, и перекладины из дерева будут отвечать им: BSB BSB: For the stones will cry out from the wall, and the rafters will echo it from the woodwork.
12 ROB "Горе тому, кто строит город на крови, и кто строит крепости неправдой!" BSB BSB: Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and establishes a town by iniquity!
13 ROB Разве не от Господа Саваофа то, что народы трудятся для огня и племена мучают себя напрасно? BSB BSB: Is it not indeed from the LORD of Hosts that the labor of the people only feeds the fire, and the nations weary themselves in vain?
14 ROB Потому что земля наполнится познанием славы Господа, как воды наполняют море. BSB BSB: For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
15 ROB Горе тому, кто даёт своему ближнему питьё с примесью своей злобы и делает его пьяным, чтобы видеть его наготу! BSB BSB: Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbors, pouring it from the wineskin until they are drunk, in order to gaze at their nakedness!
16 ROB Ты насытился стыдом вместо славы. Пей же и ты и показывай свою наготу— чаша из правой руки Господа придёт и к тебе, и позор скроет твою славу. BSB BSB: You will be filled with shame instead of glory. You too must drink and expose your uncircumcision! The cup in the LORD’s right hand will come around to you, and utter disgrace will cover your glory.
17 ROB Потому что твоё злодейство на Ливане обрушится на тебя за то, что ты истреблял напуганных животных, проливал человеческую кровь, опустошал страны, города и всех живущих в них. BSB BSB: For your violence against Lebanon will overwhelm you, and the destruction of animals will terrify you, because of your bloodshed against men and your violence against the land, the city, and all their dwellers.
18 ROB Что за польза от идола— ложного учителя, который сделан художником? Хотя и сам скульптор, делая немые кумиры, полагается на своё произведение. BSB BSB: What use is an idol, that a craftsman should carve it—or an image, a teacher of lies? For its maker trusts in his own creation; he makes idols that cannot speak.
19 ROB Горе тому, кто говорит дереву: "Встань!" и бессловесному камню: "Проснись!" Научит ли он чему-нибудь? Он покрыт золотом и серебром, но нет в нём дыхания. BSB BSB: Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Awake!’ or to silent stone, ‘Arise!’ Can it give guidance? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, yet there is no breath in it at all.”
20 ROB А Господь в Своём святом храме: пусть молчит вся земля перед Ним!» BSB BSB: But the LORD is in His holy temple; let all the earth be silent before Him.
