1 ROB В двадцать первый день седьмого месяца через пророка Аггея было слово от Господа: BSB BSB: On the twenty-first day of the seventh month, the word of the LORD came through Haggai the prophet, saying:
2 ROB «Скажи теперь правителю Иудеи Зоровавелю, сыну Салафииля, и великому священнику Иисусу, сыну Иоседека, и остатку народа: BSB BSB: “Speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and also to the remnant of the people. Ask them,
3 ROB "Кто остался из вас, кто видел этот дом в его прежней славе, и каким вы видите его теперь? Разве он не ничтожен в ваших глазах? BSB BSB: ‘Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? How does it look to you now? Does it not appear to you like nothing in comparison?’
4 ROB Но сейчас ободрись, Зоровавель,— говорит Господь,— ободрись, Иисус, сын Иоседека, великий священник! Ободрись, весь народ земли,— говорит Господь,— и работайте, потому что Я с вами,— говорит Господь Саваоф,— BSB BSB: But now be strong, O Zerubbabel, declares the LORD. Be strong, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. And be strong, all you people of the land, declares the LORD. Work! For I am with you, declares the LORD of Hosts.
5 ROB Я заключил Мой Завет с вами при вашем выходе из Египта, и Мой дух с вами, не бойтесь! BSB BSB: This is the promise I made to you when you came out of Egypt. And My Spirit remains among you; do not be afraid.”
6 ROB Потому что Господь Саваоф говорит так: "Ещё немного, и Я потрясу небо и землю, море и сушу, BSB BSB: For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
8 ROB Моё серебро и Моё золото,— говорит Господь Саваоф.— BSB BSB: The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, declares the LORD of Hosts.
9 ROB Слава последнего храма будет больше прежнего,— говорит Господь Саваоф,— и на этом месте Я дам мир,— говорит Господь Саваоф"». BSB BSB: The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former, says the LORD of Hosts. And in this place I will provide peace, declares the LORD of Hosts.”
10 ROB В двадцать четвёртый день девятого месяца, на втором году царствования Дария, было слово от Господа через пророка Аггея: BSB BSB: On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to Haggai the prophet, saying,
11 ROB «Так говорит Господь Саваоф: "Спроси священников о законе и скажи: BSB BSB: “This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘Ask the priests for a ruling.
12 ROB "Если бы кто-нибудь нёс освящённое мясо, завернув его в свою одежду, и коснулся бы этой одеждой хлеба или чего-либо варёного, или вина, или оливкового масла, или какой-нибудь пищи, то станет ли это священным?"» Священники ответили: «Нет». BSB BSB: If a man carries consecrated meat in the fold of his garment, and it touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any other food, does that item become holy?’” “No,” replied the priests.
13 ROB Затем Аггей спросил: «А если ко всему этому прикоснётся кто-либо осквернившийся от прикосновения к мёртвому, то станет ли он нечистым?» Священники отвечали: «Будет нечистым». BSB BSB: So Haggai asked, “If one who is defiled by contact with a corpse touches any of these, does it become defiled?” “Yes, it becomes defiled,” the priests answered.
14 ROB Тогда Аггей сказал: «Такой и этот народ, такое и это племя, которое передо Мной,— говорит Господь,— такие и все дела их рук! И всё нечисто, что они приносят туда. BSB BSB: Then Haggai replied, “So it is with this people and this nation before Me, declares the LORD, and so it is with every work of their hands; whatever they offer there is defiled.
15 ROB Теперь обратитесь вашим сердцем к тому времени, когда в храме Господа камень ещё не был положен на камень. BSB BSB: Now consider carefully from this day forward: Before one stone was placed on another in the temple of the LORD,
16 ROB Когда вы приходили к копне, которая могла приносить двадцать мер, но было только десять. Когда приходили к подточилию, чтобы начерпать пятьдесят мер из подточилия, а там было только двадцать. BSB BSB: from that time, when one came expecting a heap of twenty ephahs of grain, there were but ten. When one came to the winepress to draw out fifty baths, there were but twenty.
17 ROB Я наказывал вас, насылая на все труды ваших рук ржавчину, блёклость хлеба и град. Но вы не обращались ко Мне,— говорит Господь.— BSB BSB: I struck you—all the work of your hands—with blight, mildew, and hail, but you did not turn to Me, declares the LORD.
18 ROB Обратите ваше сердце к тому времени, в двадцать четвёртый день девятого месяца, к тому дню, когда был основан храм Господа. Обратите ваше сердце: BSB BSB: Consider carefully from this day forward—from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, the day the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid—consider carefully:
19 ROB есть ли ещё в хранилищах семена? До этого времени ни виноградная лоза, ни смоковница, ни гранатовое дерево, ни маслина не давали плоды, а с этого дня Я благословлю их». BSB BSB: Is there still seed in the barn? The vine, the fig, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yet yielded fruit. But from this day on, I will bless you.”
20 ROB В двадцать четвёртый день месяца во второй раз к Аггею было слово от Господа: BSB BSB: For the second time that day, the twenty-fourth day of the month, the word of the LORD came to Haggai, saying,
21 ROB «Скажи Зоровавелю, правителю Иудеи: "Я потрясу небо и землю, BSB BSB: “Tell Zerubbabel governor of Judah that I am about to shake the heavens and the earth:
22 ROB свергну престолы царей и истреблю силу языческих царств. Я опрокину колесницы и тех, кто сидит на них. Их кони упадут, а всадники убьют друг друга мечом. BSB BSB: I will overturn royal thrones and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overturn chariots and their riders; horses and their riders will fall, each by the sword of his brother.
23 ROB В тот день,— говорит Господь Саваоф,— Я возьму тебя, Зоровавель, сын Салафииля, Мой раб,— говорит Господь,— и буду держать тебя, как печать, потому что Я выбрал тебя",— говорит Господь Саваоф». BSB BSB: On that day, declares the LORD of Hosts, I will take you, My servant, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, declares the LORD, and I will make you like My signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the LORD of Hosts.”
