1 ROB В то время вавилонский царь Меродах-Валадан, сын Валадана, прислал к Езекии письмо и подарки, потому что слышал, что он был болен и выздоровел. BSB BSB: At that time Merodach-baladan son of Baladan king of Babylon sent letters and a gift to Hezekiah, for he had heard about Hezekiah’s illness and recovery.
2 ROB И Езекия обрадовался посланным, и показал им дом своих сокровищ: серебро, золото, ароматы, драгоценные масла, весь свой оружейный дом и всё, что находилось в его сокровищницах. Ничего не осталось, чего не показал бы им Езекия в своём доме и во всём своём владении. BSB BSB: And Hezekiah welcomed the envoys gladly and showed them what was in his treasure house—the silver, the gold, the spices, and the precious oil, as well as his entire armory—all that was found in his storehouses. There was nothing in his palace or in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.
3 ROB Пророк Исаия пришёл к царю Езекии и спросил его: «Что говорили эти люди? И откуда они приходили к тебе?» Езекия ответил: «Они приходили ко мне из далёкой земли, из Вавилона». BSB BSB: Then the prophet Isaiah went to King Hezekiah and asked, “Where did those men come from, and what did they say to you?” “They came to me from a distant land,” Hezekiah replied, “from Babylon.”
4 ROB И Исаия спросил: «Что они видели в твоём доме?» Езекия ответил: «Видели всё, что есть в моём доме. Ничего не осталось в моих сокровищницах, чего бы я не показал им». BSB BSB: “What have they seen in your palace?” Isaiah asked. “They have seen everything in my palace,” answered Hezekiah. “There is nothing among my treasures that I did not show them.”
5 ROB Тогда Исаия сказал Езекии: «Выслушай слово Господа Саваофа: BSB BSB: Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the LORD of Hosts:
6 ROB "Придут дни, и всё, что есть в твоём доме, и что собрали твои праотцы до этого дня, будет унесено в Вавилон. Ничего не останется",— говорит Господь,— BSB BSB: The time will surely come when everything in your palace and all that your fathers have stored up until this day will be carried off to Babylon. Nothing will be left, says the LORD.
7 ROB возьмут твоих сыновей, которые родятся у тебя, и они будут евнухами во дворце вавилонского царя». BSB BSB: And some of your descendants, your own flesh and blood, will be taken away to be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.”
8 ROB И сказал Езекия Исаии: «Слово Господа, которое ты сказал, доброе». И ещё сказал: "Пусть будут мир и истина в мои дни». BSB BSB: But Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The word of the LORD that you have spoken is good.” For he thought, “At least there will be peace and security in my lifetime.”
