Jeremiah 36 (ROB)

1В четвёртый год правления иудейского царя Иоакима, сына Иосии, было от Господа такое слово к Иеремии:In the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the LORD:

2«Возьми книжный свиток и напиши в нём все слова, которые Я говорил тебе об Израиле, Иуде и обо всех народах с того дня, как Я начал говорить тебе, начиная от дней правления Иосии и до этого дня.“Take a scroll and write on it all the words I have spoken to you concerning Israel, Judah, and all the nations, from the day I first spoke to you during the reign of Josiah until today.

3Может быть, дом Иуды услышит обо всех бедствиях, которые Я собираюсь сделать им, чтобы каждый из них оставил свой злой путь, и чтобы Я простил их преступление и грех».Perhaps when the people of Judah hear about all the calamity I plan to bring upon them, each of them will turn from his wicked way. Then I will forgive their iniquity and their sin.”

4Иеремия позвал Варуха, сына Нирии, и Варух записал в книжный свиток со слов Иеремии все слова Господа, которые Он ему говорил.So Jeremiah called Baruch son of Neriah, and at the dictation of Jeremiah, Baruch wrote on a scroll all the words that the LORD had spoken to Jeremiah.

5Затем Иеремия приказал Варуху: «Я заключён под стражу и не могу входить в дом Господа.Then Jeremiah commanded Baruch, “I am restricted; I cannot enter the house of the LORD;

6Пойди ты в дом Господа в день поста и прочитай из свитка слова Господа, которые ты записал с моих слов. Прочитай их во всеуслышание перед всем народом, а также перед всеми иудеями, которые пришли из своих городов.so you are to go to the house of the LORD on a day of fasting, and in the hearing of the people you are to read the words of the LORD from the scroll you have written at my dictation. Read them in the hearing of all the people of Judah who are coming from their cities.

7Может быть, они вознесут свою мольбу перед Господом и каждый оставит свой злой путь. Ведь велик гнев и негодование, которые провозгласил Господь на этот народ».Perhaps they will bring their petition before the LORD, and each one will turn from his wicked way; for great are the anger and fury that the LORD has pronounced against this people.”

8Варух, сын Нирии, сделал всё, как приказал ему пророк Иеремия: он прочитал слова Господа из свитка в доме Господа.So Baruch son of Neriah did everything that Jeremiah the prophet had commanded him. In the house of the LORD he read the words of the LORD from the scroll.

9В пятый год правления иудейского царя Иоакима, сына Иосии, в девятый месяц, объявили пост перед Господом всему народу в Иерусалиме и всему народу, пришедшему в Иерусалим из иудейских городов.Now in the ninth month of the fifth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, a fast before the LORD was proclaimed to all the people of Jerusalem and all who had come there from the cities of Judah.

10Варух прочитал во всеуслышание перед всем народом написанные в свитке слова Иеремии в доме Господа, в комнате писца Гемарии, сына Сафана, которая находилась на верхнем дворе, у входа в новые ворота дома Господа.From the chamber of Gemariah son of Shaphan the scribe, which was in the upper courtyard at the opening of the New Gate of the house of the LORD, Baruch read from the scroll the words of Jeremiah in the hearing of all the people.

11Михей, сын Гемарии, внук Сафана, слышал все слова Господа, записанные в свитке.When Micaiah son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, heard all the words of the LORD from the scroll,

12Он спустился в дом царя, в комнату писца. Там сидели все правители: писец Елисам, Делаия, сын Семаия, Елнафан, сын Ахбора, Гемария, сын Сафана, Седекия, сын Анании, и все остальные правители.he went down to the scribe’s chamber in the king’s palace, where all the officials were sitting: Elishama the scribe, Delaiah son of Shemaiah, Elnathan son of Achbor, Gemariah son of Shaphan, Zedekiah son of Hananiah, and all the other officials.

13Михей пересказал им все слова, которые он слышал, когда Варух читал свиток во всеуслышание перед народом.And Micaiah reported to them all the words he had heard Baruch read from the scroll in the hearing of the people.

14Тогда все правители послали к Варуху Иегудия, сына Нафании, сына Селемии, сына Хусии, сказать ему: «Возьми свиток, который ты читал во всеуслышание перед народом, и приди». Варух, сын Нирии, взял свиток и пришёл к ним.Then all the officials sent word to Baruch through Jehudi son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, saying, “Bring the scroll that you read in the hearing of the people, and come here.” So Baruch son of Neriah took the scroll and went to them.

15Они сказали ему: «Сядь и прочитай нам вслух». И Варух прочитал им вслух.“Please sit down,” they said, “and read it in our hearing.” So Baruch read it in their hearing.

16Когда они услышали все эти слова, то с ужасом посмотрели друг на друга и сказали Варуху: «Мы непременно перескажем все эти слова царю».When they had heard all these words, they turned to one another in fear and said to Baruch, “Surely we must report all these words to the king.”

17Они спросили Варуха: «Скажи нам, как ты записал все эти слова? Со слов его?»“Tell us now,” they asked Baruch, “how did you write all these words? Was it at Jeremiah’s dictation?”

18Варух ответил им: «С его слов. Он говорил все эти слова, а я записывал их в свиток чернилами».“It was at his dictation,” Baruch replied. “He recited all these words to me and I wrote them in ink on the scroll.”

19Тогда правители сказали Варуху: «Уходи и спрячься, ты и Иеремия, чтобы никто не знал, где вы».Then the officials said to Baruch, “You and Jeremiah must hide yourselves and tell no one where you are.”

20Затем они пошли к царю во дворец, оставив свиток в комнате писца Елисама, и пересказали царю все эти слова.So the officials went to the king in the courtyard. And having stored the scroll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, they reported everything to the king.

21Царь послал Иегудия принести свиток, тот взял его из комнаты писца Елисама. Иегудий начал читать его во всеуслышание перед царём и всеми правителями, которые стояли возле царя.Then the king sent Jehudi to get the scroll, and he took it from the chamber of Elishama the scribe. And Jehudi read it in the hearing of the king and all the officials who were standing beside him.

22Это был девятый месяц, царь в то время находился в зимнем доме, и перед ним горел очаг.Since it was the ninth month, the king was sitting in his winter quarters with a fire burning before him.

23Когда Иегудий прочитывал три или четыре столбца, царь отрезал их писцовым ножом и бросал в огонь очага, пока в огне очага не был уничтожен весь свиток.And as soon as Jehudi had read three or four columns, Jehoiakim would cut them off with a scribe’s knife and throw them into the firepot, until the entire scroll had been consumed by the fire.

24При этом ни царь, ни все его слуги, слышавшие эти слова, не испугались и не разодрали своих одежд.Yet in hearing all these words, the king and his servants did not become frightened or tear their garments.

25Хотя Елнафан, Делаия и Гемария упрашивали царя не сжигать свиток, он их не послушал.Even though Elnathan, Delaiah, and Gemariah urged the king not to burn the scroll, he would not listen to them.

26Царь приказал сыну царя Иерамеилу, Сераии, сыну Азриила, и Селемии, сыну Авдиила, схватить писца Варуха и пророка Иеремию. Но Господь спрятал их.Instead, the king commanded Jerahmeel, a son of the king, as well as Seraiah son of Azriel and Shelemiah son of Abdeel, to seize Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet. But the LORD had hidden them.

27И было слово Господа к Иеремии, после того как царь сжёг свиток и слова, которые Варух записал со слов Иеремии:After the king had burned the scroll containing the words that Baruch had written at Jeremiah’s dictation, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:

28«Возьми себе другой свиток и запиши в него все прежние слова, которые были в первом свитке, который сжёг иудейский царь Иоаким.“Take another scroll and rewrite on it the very words that were on the original scroll, which Jehoiakim king of Judah has burned.

29А иудейскому царю Иоакиму скажи: "Так говорит Господь: "Ты сжёг этот свиток, сказав: "Зачем ты написал в нём, что вавилонский царь непременно придёт, разорит эту землю и уничтожит на ней людей и скот?"You are to proclaim concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah that this is what the LORD says: You have burned the scroll and said, ‘Why have you written on it that the king of Babylon would surely come and destroy this land and deprive it of man and beast?’

30За это,— говорит Господь об иудейском царе Иоакиме,— не будут его потомки сидеть на престоле Давида, его труп будет выброшен на дневной зной и на ночной холод.Therefore this is what the LORD says about Jehoiakim king of Judah: He will have no one to sit on David’s throne, and his body will be thrown out and exposed to heat by day and frost by night.

31Я посещу его, его потомков и его слуг за их неправду, и наведу на них и на жителей Иерусалима, и на мужчин Иуды всё зло, которое Я произнёс на них, а они не слушали"».I will punish him and his descendants and servants for their iniquity. I will bring on them, on the residents of Jerusalem, and on the men of Judah, all the calamity about which I warned them but they did not listen.”

32Иеремия взял другой свиток и отдал его писцу Варуху, сыну Нирии. Он записал в него со слов Иеремии все слова того свитка, который сжёг иудейский царь Иоаким. И к ним было добавлено ещё много подобных слов.Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to the scribe Baruch son of Neriah, and at Jeremiah’s dictation he wrote on it all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire. And many similar words were added to them.
