1 ROB Был человек в земле Уц по имени Иов. Этот человек был непорочный, справедливый, богобоязненный и удалялся от зла. BSB BSB: There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job. And this man was blameless and upright, fearing God and shunning evil.
2 ROB У него родились семь сыновей и три дочери. BSB BSB: He had seven sons and three daughters,
3 ROB У него было имение: семь тысяч из мелкого скота, три тысячи верблюдов, пятьсот пар волов, пятьсот ослиц и очень много слуг. Этот человек был самым великим среди всех сыновей востока. BSB BSB: and he owned 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, 500 female donkeys, and a very large number of servants. Job was the greatest man of all the people of the East.
4 ROB Его сыновья собирались, устраивая пиры каждый в свой день в своём доме, посылали и приглашали трёх своих сестёр, чтобы вместе с ними есть и пить. BSB BSB: Job’s sons would take turns holding feasts in their homes, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them.
5 ROB Когда круг пиршественных дней заканчивался, Иов посылал за ними, освящал их и, вставая рано утром, возносил всесожжения за каждого из них, потому что говорил: «Может быть, мои сыновья согрешили и оскорбили Бога в своём сердце». Так поступал Иов во все такие дни. BSB BSB: And when the days of feasting were over, Job would send for his children to purify them, rising early in the morning to offer burnt offerings for all of them. For Job thought, “Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular practice.
6 ROB Был день, когда сыновья Бога пришли, чтобы предстать перед Господом, а вместе с ними пришёл и сатана. BSB BSB: One day the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them.
7 ROB Господь спросил сатану: «Откуда ты пришёл?» Сатана отвечал Господу: «Я ходил по земле и обошёл её». BSB BSB: “Where have you come from?” said the LORD to Satan. “From roaming through the earth,” he replied, “and walking back and forth in it.”
8 ROB Господь сказал сатане: «Обратил ли ты внимание на Моего слугу Иова? Нет на земле такого, как он: человек непорочный, справедливый, богобоязненный и удаляющийся от зла». BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one on earth like him, a man who is blameless and upright, who fears God and shuns evil.”
9 ROB Сатана отвечал Господу: «Разве даром Иов так богобоязнен? BSB BSB: Satan answered the LORD, “Does Job fear God for nothing?
10 ROB Не Ты ли оградил со всех сторон его, его дом и всё, что у него? Ты благословил его дела, и его стада умножаются на земле, BSB BSB: Have You not placed a hedge on every side around him and his household and all that he owns? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
11 ROB но протяни Твою руку и коснись всего, что у него есть,— благословит ли он Тебя?» BSB BSB: But stretch out Your hand and strike all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face.”
12 ROB Господь сказал сатане: «Вот, всё, что у него есть, в твоей руке, но только на него не протягивай свою руку». И сатана ушёл от лица Господа. BSB BSB: “Very well,” said the LORD to Satan. “Everything he has is in your hands, but you must not lay a hand on the man himself.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD.
13 ROB Был день, когда сыновья и дочери Иова ели и пили вино в доме своего первородного брата. BSB BSB: One day, while Job’s sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house,
14 ROB К Иову пришёл вестник и сказал: BSB BSB: a messenger came and reported to Job: “While the oxen were plowing and the donkeys were grazing nearby,
15 ROB «Волы пахали, возле них паслись ослицы, когда савеяне напали и забрали их, а слуг убили мечами. Только я один спасся, чтобы сообщить тебе это». BSB BSB: the Sabeans swooped down and took them away. They put the servants to the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you!”
16 ROB Он ещё говорил, когда пришёл другой и сказал: «С неба упал Божий огонь и сжёг овец и слуг. Только я один спасся, чтобы сообщить тебе это». BSB BSB: While he was still speaking, another messenger came and reported: “The fire of God fell from heaven. It burned and consumed the sheep and the servants, and I alone have escaped to tell you!”
17 ROB Он ещё говорил, когда пришёл другой и сказал: «Халдеи расположились тремя отрядами, напали на верблюдов и угнали их, а слуг убили мечами. Только я один спасся, чтобы сообщить тебе это». BSB BSB: While he was still speaking, another messenger came and reported: “The Chaldeans formed three bands, raided the camels, and took them away. They put the servants to the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you!”
18 ROB Он ещё говорил, когда пришёл другой и сказал: «Когда твои сыновья и дочери ели и пили вино в доме своего первородного брата, BSB BSB: While he was still speaking, another messenger came and reported: “Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house,
19 ROB с пустыни налетел сильный ветер, обрушил четыре угла дома, дом упал на них, и они умерли. Только я один спасся, чтобы сообщить тебе это». BSB BSB: when suddenly a mighty wind swept in from the desert and struck the four corners of the house. It collapsed on the young people and they are dead, and I alone have escaped to tell you!”
20 ROB Тогда Иов встал, разодрал свою верхнюю одежду, обрил голову, упал на землю, поклонился BSB BSB: Then Job stood up, tore his robe, and shaved his head. He fell to the ground and worshiped,
21 ROB и сказал: «Нагим я вышел из утробы своей матери, нагим и уйду. Господь дал, Господь и взял, пусть имя Господа будет благословенно!» BSB BSB: saying: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.”
22 ROB Во всём этом Иов не согрешил и не произнёс ничего плохого о Боге. BSB BSB: In all this, Job did not sin or charge God with wrongdoing.
