1«Я сказал вам это, чтобы вы не смущались.“I have told you these things so that you will not fall away.

2Вас выгонят из синагог. Даже наступает время, когда каждый, кто вас убивает, будет думать, что он этим служит Богу.They will put you out of the synagogues. In fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God.

3Так будут поступать с вами, потому что не познали ни Отца, ни Меня.They will do these things because they have not known the Father or Me.

4Но Я сказал вам это для того, чтобы вы, когда наступит это время, вспомнили, что Я вам говорил об этом. Я не говорил вам этого сначала, потому что был с вами.But I have told you these things so that when their hour comes, you will remember that I told you about them. I did not tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you.

5А теперь Я иду к Пославшему Меня, и никто из вас не спрашивает Меня:" Куда идёшь?"Now, however, I am going to Him who sent Me; yet none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’

6Но из- за того, что Я сказал вам это, ваше сердце наполнилось печалью.Instead, your hearts are filled with sorrow because I have told you these things.

7Но Я говорю вам истину: лучше для вас, чтобы Я пошёл, потому что, если Я не пойду, Утешитель не придёт к вам, а если пойду, то пошлю Его к вам.But I tell you the truth, it is for your benefit that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.

8Когда Он придёт, то обличит мир о грехе, о правде и о суде:And when He comes, He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:

9о грехе, что не верят в Меня;in regard to sin, because they do not believe in Me;

10о правде, что Я иду к Моему Отцу, и уже не увидите Меня;in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me;

11о суде, что князь этого мира осуждён.and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world has been condemned.

12Ещё есть много, что сказать вам, но вы пока ещё не можете понять.I still have much to tell you, but you cannot yet bear to hear it.

13Когда придёт Он, Дух истины, то наставит вас на всякую истину, потому что не от Себя будет говорить, но будет говорить то, что услышит, и расскажет вам о том, что будет в будущем.However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come.

14Он прославит Меня, потому что от Меня возьмёт и расскажет вам.He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.

15Всё, что есть у Отца, есть у Меня, поэтому Я сказал, что у Меня возьмёт и расскажет вам.Everything that belongs to the Father is Mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will take from what is Mine and disclose it to you.

16Уже скоро вы не увидите Меня и скоро опять увидите Меня, ведь Я иду к Отцу».In a little while you will see Me no more, and then after a little while you will see Me.”

17Тут некоторые Его ученики сказали друг другу:«Что это Он говорит нам:" Скоро уже не увидите Меня и скоро снова увидите Меня" и" Я иду к Отцу"?»Then some of His disciples asked one another, “Why is He telling us, ‘In a little while you will not see Me, and then after a little while you will see Me’ and ‘Because I am going to the Father’?”

18Итак, они говорили:«О чём Он говорит" уже скоро"? Не понимаем, о чём говорит».They kept asking, “Why is He saying, ‘a little while’? We do not understand what He is saying.”

19Иисус, поняв, что хотят Его спросить, сказал им:«О том ли спрашиваете вы друг друга, что Я сказал:" Скоро уже не увидите Меня и скоро снова увидите Меня"?Aware that they wanted to question Him, Jesus said to them, “Are you asking one another why I said, ‘In a little while you will not see Me, and then after a little while you will see Me’?

20Истину, истину вам говорю: вы будете плакать и рыдать, а мир будет радоваться. Вы будете печальны, но ваша печаль станет радостью.Truly, truly, I tell you, you will weep and wail while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.

21Женщина, когда рожает, страдает, потому что пришёл её час, но, когда родит младенца, от радости уже не помнит мучений, потому что родился человек в мир.A woman has pain in childbirth because her time has come; but when she brings forth her child, she forgets her anguish because of her joy that a child has been born into the world.

22Так и вы сейчас печальны, но Я снова увижу вас, и ваше сердце наполнится радостью, и никто не отнимет у вас вашу радость.So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

23В тот день вы не спросите Меня ни о чём. Истину, истину вам говорю: о чём вы попросите Отца во имя Моё– даст вам.In that day you will no longer ask Me anything. Truly, truly, I tell you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

24До этого вы ничего не просили во имя Моё. Просите и получите, чтобы ваша радость была полной.Until now you have not asked for anything in My name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.

25До этого Я говорил вам притчами, но наступает время, когда уже не буду говорить вам притчами, но прямо расскажу вам об Отце.I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. An hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you this way, but will tell you plainly about the Father.

26В тот день будете просить во имя Моё. И Я не говорю вам, что буду просить Отца о вас:In that day you will ask in My name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf.

27ведь Отец Сам любит вас, потому что вы полюбили Меня и поверили, что Я пришёл от Бога.For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from God.

28Я вышел от Отца и пришёл в мир. Теперь оставляю мир и снова иду к Отцу.I came from the Father and entered the world. In turn, I will leave the world and go to the Father.”

29Его ученики сказали Ему:«Вот, теперь Ты прямо говоришь и никакой притчи не рассказываешь.His disciples said, “See, now You are speaking plainly and without figures of speech.

30Теперь видим, что Ты знаешь всё и не имеешь необходимости, чтобы кто спрашивал Тебя. Поэтому верим, что Ты от Бога пришёл».Now we understand that You know all things and that You have no need for anyone to question You. Because of this, we believe that You came from God.”

31Иисус ответил им:«Теперь верите?“Do you finally believe?” Jesus replied.

32Вот, наступает час и настал уже, когда вы разойдётесь каждый в свою сторону и Меня оставите одного. Но Я не один, потому что Отец со Мной.“Look, an hour is coming and has already come when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and you will leave Me all alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

33Это Я сказал вам, чтобы вы имели во Мне мир. В мире будете иметь скорбь, но мужайтесь: Я победил мир».I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!”
