BSB BSB: Now these are the portions that the Israelites inherited in the land of Canaan, as distributed by Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the families of the tribes of Israel.
2 ROB Они делили по жребию, как велел Господь через Моисея, девяти коленам и половине колена Манассии. BSB BSB: Their inheritance was assigned by lot for the nine and a half tribes, as the LORD had commanded through Moses.
3 ROB Потому что Моисей дал наследство за Иорданом двум коленам и половине колена Манассии, а левитам не дал наследства среди них. BSB BSB: For Moses had given the inheritance east of the Jordan to the other two and a half tribes. But he granted no inheritance among them to the Levites.
4 ROB Потому что от сыновей Иосифа произошли два колена: Манассии и Ефрема. Поэтому они не дали левитам доли в земле, а только города для жизни и пастбище для их скота и для их имущества. BSB BSB: The descendants of Joseph became two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim. And no portion of the land was given to the Levites, except for cities in which to live, along with pasturelands for their flocks and herds.
5 ROB Как Господь велел Моисею, так и сделали сыновья Израиля, когда делили землю на наследства. BSB BSB: So the Israelites did as the LORD had commanded Moses, and they divided the land.
6 ROB Сыновья Иуды пришли к Иисусу в Галгал. И кенезеянин Халев, сын Иефоннии, сказал ему: «Ты знаешь, что говорил Господь Моисею, Божьему человеку, в Кадес-Варне обо мне и о тебе. BSB BSB: Then the sons of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, “You know what the LORD said to Moses the man of God at Kadesh-barnea about you and me.
7 ROB Мне было сорок лет, когда Моисей, раб Господа, посылал меня из Кадес-Варни осмотреть землю, и я принёс ему в ответ, что было у меня на сердце. BSB BSB: I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh-barnea to spy out the land, and I brought back to him an honest report.
8 ROB Мои братья, которые ходили со мной, привели в страх сердце народа, а я в точности следовал за Господом, моим Богом. BSB BSB: Although my brothers who went with me made the hearts of the people melt with fear, I remained loyal to the LORD my God.
9 ROB Моисей поклялся в тот день и сказал: "Земля, по которой ходила твоя нога, будет навек наследством тебе и твоим детям, потому что ты в точности следовал за Господом, моим Богом". BSB BSB: On that day Moses swore to me, saying, ‘Surely the land on which you have set foot will be an inheritance to you and your children forever, because you have wholly followed the LORD my God.’
10 ROB Итак, Господь сохранил меня в живых, как Он говорил. С тех пор прошло уже сорок пять лет, как Господь сказал Моисею это слово, и Израиль ходил по пустыне. Теперь мне восемьдесят пять лет, BSB BSB: Now behold, as the LORD promised, He has kept me alive these forty-five years since He spoke this word to Moses, while Israel wandered in the wilderness. So here I am today, eighty-five years old,
11 ROB но и сейчас я так же крепок, как и тогда, когда посылал меня Моисей. Сколько тогда было у меня сил, столько и теперь есть для того, чтобы воевать, выходить и входить. BSB BSB: still as strong today as I was the day Moses sent me out. As my strength was then, so it is now for war, for going out, and for coming in.
12 ROB Итак, отдай мне эту гору, о которой говорил Господь в тот день, потому что ты слышал в тот день, что там сыновья Енака и города большие и укреплённые. Может быть Господь будет со мной, и я прогоню их, как говорил Господь». BSB BSB: Now therefore give me this hill country that the LORD promised me on that day, for you yourself heard then that the Anakim were there, with great and fortified cities. Perhaps with the LORD’s help I will drive them out, as the LORD has spoken.”
13 ROB Иисус благословил его и дал Хеврон в наследство Халеву, сыну Иефоннии. BSB BSB: Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as his inheritance.
14 ROB Таким образом, Хеврон остался наследством кенезеянина Халева, сына Иефоннии, до этого дня, за то, что он в точности следовал за Господом, Богом Израиля. BSB BSB: Therefore Hebron belongs to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite as an inheritance to this day, because he wholly followed the LORD, the God of Israel.
15 ROB Раньше Хеврон назывался Кириаф-Арба, как назывался среди сыновей Енака один великий человек. И земля успокоилась от войны. BSB BSB: (Hebron used to be called Kiriath-arba, after Arba, the greatest man among the Anakim.) Then the land had rest from war.
