1Всё общество сыновей Израиля собралось в Силом, и поставили там шатёр собрания, потому что эта земля была покорена ими.Then the whole congregation of Israel assembled at Shiloh and set up the Tent of Meeting there. And though the land was subdued before them,

2Оставалось семь колен из сыновей Израиля, которые ещё не получили своего наследства.there were still seven tribes of Israel who had not yet received their inheritance.

3И сказал Иисус сыновьям Израиля: «Долго ли вы будете бездействовать прежде, чем пойдёте и возьмёте в наследство землю, которую Господь, Бог ваших отцов, дал вам?So Joshua said to the Israelites, “How long will you put off entering and possessing the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you?

4Дайте по три человека из каждого колена, я пошлю их, и они, встав, пройдут и опишут землю, как надо им разделить её на наследства, и вернутся ко мне.Appoint three men from each tribe, and I will send them out to survey the land and map it out, according to the inheritance of each. Then they will return to me

5Пусть разделят её на семь участков. Иуда пусть остаётся на своей южной границе, а род Иосифа пусть остаётся на своей северной границе.and divide the land into seven portions. Judah shall remain in their territory in the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain in their territory in the north.

6А вы распишите землю на семь участков и представьте их мне: я брошу вам жребий здесь перед лицом Господа, нашего Бога.When you have mapped out the seven portions of land and brought it to me, I will cast lots for you here in the presence of the LORD our God.

7Левитам нет доли среди вас, потому что священство Господу является их наследством. А Гад, Рувим и половина колена Манассии получили своё наследство за Иорданом к востоку, которое им дал Моисей, раб Господа».The Levites, however, have no portion among you, because their inheritance is the priesthood of the LORD. And Gad, Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh have already received the inheritance that Moses the servant of the LORD gave them beyond the Jordan to the east.”

8Эти люди встали и пошли. Тем, кто пошёл описывать землю, Иисус дал такой приказ: «Пойдите, обойдите землю, опишите её и вернитесь ко мне. А я здесь, в Силоме, брошу вам жребий перед лицом Господа».As the men got up to go out, Joshua commanded them to map out the land, saying, “Go and survey the land, map it out, and return to me. Then I will cast lots for you here in Shiloh in the presence of the LORD.”

9Они пошли, прошли по земле, описали её в книге по городам, на семь участков, и вернулись к Иисусу в лагерь, в Силом.So the men departed and went throughout the land, mapping it city by city into seven portions. Then they returned with the document to Joshua at the camp in Shiloh.

10В Силоме Иисус бросил жребий перед Господом и разделил Иисус землю сыновьям Израиля по их участкам.And Joshua cast lots for them in the presence of the LORD at Shiloh, where he distributed the land to the Israelites according to their divisions.

11Жребий вышел колену сыновей Вениамина по их племенам. Их граница по жребию шла между сыновьями Иуды и сыновьями Иосифа.The first lot came up for the clans of the tribe of Benjamin. Their allotted territory lay between the tribes of Judah and Joseph:

12Их граница на северной стороне начинается у Иордана, и проходит эта граница около Иерихона с севера, поднимается на гору к западу и заканчивается в пустыне Бефавен.On the north side their border began at the Jordan, went up past the northern slope of Jericho, headed west through the hill country, and came out at the wilderness of Beth-aven.

13Оттуда граница идёт к Лузу, к южной стороне Луза, то есть Вефиля, и спускается к Атароф-Адару, к горе, которая на южной стороне нижнего Беф-Орона.From there the border crossed over to the southern slope of Luz (that is, Bethel) and went down to Ataroth-addar on the hill south of Lower Beth-horon.

14Потом граница поворачивает и идёт в сторону моря на юг от горы, которая перед Беф-Ороном, и заканчивается у Кириаф-Ваала, то есть Кириаф-Иарима, города сыновей Иуды. Это западная сторона.On the west side the border curved southward from the hill facing Beth-horon on the south and came out at Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim), a city of the sons of Judah. This was the western side.

15Южной стороной от Кириаф-Иарима граница идёт к морю и доходит до источника вод Нефтоаха.On the south side the border began at the outskirts of Kiriath-jearim and extended westward to the spring at the Waters of Nephtoah.

16Потом граница спускается к концу горы, которая перед долиной сына Еннома, в долине рефаимов, к северу, и спускается по долине Еннома к южной стороне Иевуса и идёт к Ен-Рогелу.Then it went down to the foot of the hill that faces the Valley of Ben-hinnom at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim and ran down the Valley of Hinnom toward the southern slope of the Jebusites and downward to En-rogel.

17Потом поворачивает от севера и идёт к Ен-Шемешу, идёт к Гелилофу, который напротив возвышенности Адуммима, и спускается к камню Богана, сына Рувима.From there it curved northward and proceeded to En-shemesh and on to Geliloth facing the Ascent of Adummim, and continued down to the Stone of Bohan son of Reuben.

18Потом проходит около равнины к северу и спускается на равнину.Then it went on to the northern slope of Beth-arabah and went down into the valley.

19Отсюда проходит граница возле Беф-Хоглы к северу, и оканчивается граница у северного залива Солёного моря, у южного конца Иордана. Вот южная граница. С восточной стороны границей служит Иордан.The border continued to the northern slope of Beth-hoglah and came out at the northern bay of the Salt Sea, at the mouth of the Jordan. This was the southern border.

20Вот наследство сыновей Вениамина, по их племенам, с его границами со всех сторон.On the east side the border was the Jordan. These were the borders around the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Benjamin.

21Колену сыновей Вениамина по их племенам принадлежали эти города: Иерихон, Беф-Хогла и Емек-Кециц,These were the cities of the clans of the tribe of Benjamin: Jericho, Beth-hoglah, Emek-keziz,

22Беф-Арава, Цемараим и Вефиль,Beth-arabah, Zemaraim, Bethel,

23Аввим, Фара и Офра,Avvim, Parah, Ophrah,

24Кефар-Аммонай, Афни и Гева– двенадцать городов с их сёлами.Chephar-ammoni, Ophni, and Geba—twelve cities, along with their villages.

25Гаваон, Рама и Бероф,Gibeon, Ramah, Beeroth,

26Мицфе, Кефира и Моца,Mizpeh, Chephirah, Mozah,

27Рекем, Ирфеил и Фарала,Rekem, Irpeel, Taralah,

28Цела, Елеф и Иевус, то есть Иерусалим, Гивеаф и Кириаф– четырнадцать городов с их сёлами. Вот наследство сыновей Вениамина по их племенам.Zelah, Haeleph, Jebus (that is, Jerusalem), Gibeah, and Kiriath-jearim—fourteen cities, along with their villages. This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Benjamin.
