1Руководителю хора. Не погуби. Псалом Асафа. Песнь.A Maskil of Asaph. Why have You rejected us forever, O God? Why does Your anger smolder against the sheep of Your pasture?

2Бог, славим Тебя, славим, потому что близко Твоё имя. О Твоих чудесах говорят.Remember Your congregation, which You purchased long ago and redeemed as the tribe of Your inheritance—Mount Zion, where You dwell.

3«Когда назначу время, Я произведу справедливый суд.Turn Your steps to the everlasting ruins, to everything in the sanctuary the enemy has destroyed.

4Содрогается земля и все, кто живёт на ней. Я укреплю её столпы».Your foes have roared within Your meeting place; they have unfurled their banners as signs,

5Говорю безумным: «Не безумствуйте!» и грешникам: «Не поднимайте рог,like men wielding axes in a thicket of trees

6не поднимайте высоко ваш рог, не говорите надменно на Бога»,and smashing all the carvings with hatchets and picks.

7потому что возвышение приходит не с востока, не с запада и не с пустыни,They have burned Your sanctuary to the ground; they have defiled the dwelling place of Your Name.

8но Бог— судья: одного унижает, а другого поднимает. Ведь в руке Господа чаша, в ней пенится вино, полное приправ, и Он из неё наливает. Все грешники на земле будут пить из этой чаши и даже осадок будут допивать. А я буду вечно рассказывать об этом, буду прославлять Бога Иакова,They said in their hearts, “We will crush them completely.” They burned down every place where God met us in the land.

9сломаю все рога грешников, и поднимутся рога праведника.There are no signs for us to see. There is no longer any prophet. And none of us knows how long this will last.

10Руководителю хора. Для струнных инструментов. Псалом Асафа. Песнь.How long, O God, will the enemy taunt You? Will the foe revile Your name forever?

11Бог известен в Иудее, велико Его имя у Израиля.Why do You withdraw Your strong right hand? Stretch it out to destroy them!

12Его шатёр был в Салиме, Его жилище— на Сионе.Yet God is my King from ancient times, working salvation on the earth.

13Там Он сломал стрелы лука, щит, меч и орудия войны. Ты славен, величественнее гор, богатых добычей.You divided the sea by Your strength; You smashed the heads of the dragons of the sea;

14Сильные сердцем стали добычей, уснули своим сном, и все воины не нашли силы в своих руках.You crushed the heads of Leviathan; You fed him to the creatures of the desert.

15Бог Иакова, от Твоей угрозы оцепенели и всадники, и кони.You broke open the fountain and the flood; You dried up the ever-flowing rivers.

16Ты страшен, и кто устоит перед Твоим лицом во время Твоего гнева?The day is Yours, and also the night; You established the moon and the sun.

17Ты с небес объявил суд. Земля испугалась и утихла,You set all the boundaries of the earth; You made the summer and winter.

18когда Бог поднялся на Свой суд, чтобы спасти всех угнетённых земли.Remember how the enemy has mocked You, O LORD, how a foolish people has spurned Your name.

19И человеческий гнев обернётся Тебе в славу: Ты усмиришь остаток гнева.Do not deliver the soul of Your dove to beasts; do not forget the lives of Your afflicted forever.

20Давайте обещания вашему Господу Богу и исполняйте их. Все, кто вокруг Него, пусть принесут дары грозному Богу:Consider Your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land.

21Он укрощает дух правителей, Он грозен для земных царей.Do not let the oppressed retreat in shame; may the poor and needy praise Your name.

22Руководителю хора Идифума. Псалом Асафа.Rise up, O God; defend Your cause! Remember how the fool mocks You all day long.

23Мой голос к Богу, и я буду кричать. Мой голос к Богу, и Он услышит меня.Do not disregard the clamor of Your adversaries, the uproar of Your enemies that ascends continually.
