1Затем мне была дана трость, похожая на жезл, и было сказано: «Встань и измерь Божий храм, жертвенник и поклоняющихся в нём.Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the number of worshipers there.

2А внешний двор храма исключи и не измеряй его, потому что он отдан язычникам: они будут топтать святой город сорок два месяца.But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. Do not measure it, because it has been given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for 42 months.

3Я позволю Моим двум свидетелям, которые оденутся в мешковину, пророчествовать тысячу двести шестьдесят дней.And I will empower my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”

4Это– два оливковых дерева и два светильника, которые стоят перед Богом земли.These witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.

5Если кто-то захочет им навредить, то у них изо рта выйдет огонь и поглотит их врагов. Если кто-то пожелает им навредить, тот будет убит.If anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouths and devours their enemies. In this way, anyone who wants to harm them must be killed.

6У них есть власть закрыть небо, чтобы в дни, когда они пророчествуют, не шёл дождь на землю. И также у них есть власть над водами, превращать их в кровь, и поражать землю любыми бедствиями, когда они захотят.These witnesses have power to shut the sky so that no rain will fall during the days of their prophecy, and power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they wish.

7Когда они закончат своё свидетельство, то зверь, выходящий из бездны, будет воевать с ними, победит их и убьёт.When the two witnesses have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will wage war with them, and will overpower and kill them.

8Он оставит их тела на улице великого города, который духовно называется Содомом и Египтом, где был распят наш Господь.Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city—figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where their Lord was also crucified.

9Многие из народов, родов, языков и племён будут видеть тела их три с половиной дня и не позволят положить их тела в гробы.For three and a half days all peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will view their bodies and will not permit them to be laid in a tomb.

10И живущие на земле из-за этого будут радоваться и веселиться. Они будут посылать друг другу подарки, потому что эти два пророка мучали живущих на земле.And those who dwell on the earth will gloat over them and celebrate and send one another gifts, because these two prophets had tormented them.

11Но через три с половиной дня вошёл в них дух жизни от Бога, и они встали на ноги. На тех, кто смотрел на них, напал великий страх.But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered the two witnesses, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell upon those who saw them.

12Они услышали громкий голос, говоривший им с неба: «Поднимитесь сюда». Они поднялись в облаке на небо, а их враги смотрели на них.And the witnesses heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud as their enemies watched them.

13В тот же час произошло сильное землетрясение, и десятая часть города разрушилась. При землетрясении погибло семь тысяч человек, а остальные были в страхе и прославили небесного Бога.And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand were killed in the quake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14Второе горе ушло, но быстро приближалось третье горе.The second woe has passed. Behold, the third woe is coming shortly.

15Затрубил седьмой ангел, и на небе зазвучали громкие голоса, говорящие: «Царство этого мира стало Царством нашего Господа и Его Христа, и Он будет царствовать во все времена».Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.”

16Двадцать четыре старца, сидящие перед Богом на своих тронах, упали на лица и поклонились Богу,And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God,

17говоря: «Благодарим Тебя, Господь Бог Всемогущий, Который был и есть, благодарим, что Ты принял Твою великую силу и стал царём.saying: “We give thanks to You, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign.

18Пришли в ярость народы. И пришёл Твой гнев и время судить мёртвых и вознаградить Твоих рабов, пророков, святых и боящихся Твоего имени, малых и больших, и уничтожить тех, кто уничтожает землю».The nations were enraged, and Your wrath has come. The time has come to judge the dead and to reward Your servants the prophets, as well as the saints and those who fear Your name, both small and great—and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”

19На небе открылся Божий храм, и в Его храме стал виден ковчег Его завета. Были молнии, шум, громы, землетрясение и крупный град.Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple. And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.
