1Затрубил пятый ангел— и я увидел звезду, упавшую с неба на землю, и ей был дан ключ от колодца бездны.Then the fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to earth, and it was given the key to the pit of the Abyss.

2Она открыла колодец бездны и из колодца поднялся дым, словно дым из большой печи. Солнце и воздух померкли от дыма из колодца.The star opened the pit of the Abyss, and smoke rose out of it like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the pit.

3Из дыма на землю вышла саранча. Ей была дана власть, какую имеют земные скорпионы.And out of the smoke, locusts descended on the earth, and they were given power like that of the scorpions of the earth.

4Ей было сказано, чтобы она не наносила вред ни земной траве, ни зелени, ни дереву, а только людям, которые не имеют Божьей печати на своих лбах.They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

5Ей было позволено не убивать их, а только мучить пять месяцев. Мучение от неё похоже на мучения от скорпиона, когда тот ужалит человека.The locusts were not given power to kill them, but only to torment them for five months, and their torment was like the stinging of a scorpion.

6В те дни люди будут искать смерти, но не найдут её. Они захотят умереть, но смерть убежит от них.In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, but death will escape them.

7Саранча была похожа на коней, приготовленных к войне, и на их головах как будто золотые венцы. Её лица как лица людей.And the locusts looked like horses prepared for battle, with something like crowns of gold on their heads; and their faces were like the faces of men.

8Её волосы были как женские волосы, а зубы были как у львов.They had hair like that of women, and teeth like those of lions.

9На ней была броня, как бы железная, а шум от её крыльев был как шум от колесниц, когда множество коней бежит на войну.They also had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the roar of many horses and chariots rushing into battle.

10У саранчи были хвосты, как у скорпионов, и в этих хвостах было жало. В её власти было наносить вред людям пять месяцев.They had tails with stingers like scorpions, which had the power to injure people for five months.

11Царём над саранчой был ангел бездны. Его имя по-еврейски Аввадон, а по-гречески Аполлион.They were ruled by a king, the angel of the Abyss. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek it is Apollyon.

12Одно горе прошло, и за ним идут ещё два горя.The first woe has passed. Behold, two woes are still to follow.

13Затрубил шестой ангел, и я услышал голос одного из четырёх рогов золотого жертвенника, стоящего перед Богом.Then the sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God

14Голос говорил шестому ангелу с трубой: «Развяжи четырёх ангелов, связанных у великой реки Евфрат».saying to the sixth angel with the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.”

15И эти четыре ангела были развязаны. Они были приготовлены на этот час и день, месяц и год для того, чтобы убить третью часть людей.So the four angels who had been prepared for this hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind.

16Количество конного войска было двести миллионов. Я услышал его количество.And the number of mounted troops was two hundred million; I heard their number.

17Так видел я в видении коней и на них всадников, на которых была огненно-красная, темно-синяя и жёлтая, как сера, броня. Головы у коней– как головы у львов, и из ртов выходил огонь, дым и сера.Now the horses and riders in my vision looked like this: The riders had breastplates the colors of fire, sapphire, and sulfur. The heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and out of their mouths proceeded fire, smoke, and sulfur.

18От этих трёх наказаний– от огня, дыма и серы, выходящих из их ртов, была убита одна треть людей.A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke, and sulfur that proceeded from their mouths.

19Ведь сила коней находилась у них в ртах и хвостах, а их хвосты были похожи на змей и имели головы, которыми они и причиняли вред.For the power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; indeed, their tails were like snakes, having heads with which to inflict harm.

20Остальные люди, которые не были убиты от этих наказаний, так и не раскаялись в делах своих рук— поклонению демонам и золотым, серебряным, медным, каменным и деревянным идолам, которые не могут ни видеть, ни слышать, ни ходить.Now the rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the works of their hands. They did not stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk.

21И они не раскаялись ни в своих убийствах, ни в своём колдовстве, ни в своём разврате, ни в своём воровстве.Furthermore, they did not repent of their murder, sorcery, sexual immorality, and theft.
