1 ULB Смотрите, какую любовь дал нам Отец, чтобы нам называться и быть детьми Бога. Мир потому не знает нас, что не познал Его. BSB BSB: Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.
2 ULB Возлюбленные! Теперь мы Божьи дети, но ещё не открыто, какими будем. Знаем только, что, когда откроется, будем подобны Ему, потому что увидим Его таким, какой Он есть. BSB BSB: Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is.
3 ULB И каждый, кто имеет эту надежду на Него, очищает себя так, как Он чист. BSB BSB: And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as Christ is pure.
4 ULB Каждый, делающий грех, делает и беззаконие, грех- это беззаконие. BSB BSB: Everyone who practices sin practices lawlessness as well. Indeed, sin is lawlessness.
5 ULB И вы знаете, что Он явился для того, чтобы взять наши грехи и, что в Нём нет греха. BSB BSB: But you know that Christ appeared to take away sins, and in Him there is no sin.
6 ULB Каждый пребывающий в Нём, не согрешает, каждый согрешающий не видел Его и не познал Его. BSB BSB: No one who remains in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has seen Him or known Him.
7 ULB Дети! Пусть никто не обманывает вас. Кто поступает праведно, тот праведен, как и Он праведен. BSB BSB: Little children, let no one deceive you: The one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as Christ is righteous.
8 ULB Кто грешит, тот от дьявола, потому что сначала дьявол согрешил. Для этого и явился Божий Сын, чтобы разрушить дела дьявола. BSB BSB: The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil.
9 ULB Каждый рождённый от Бога, не грешит, потому что семя Бога пребывает в нём, и он не может грешить, потому что рождён от Бога. BSB BSB: Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
10 ULB Отличить детей Бога и детей дьявола можно так: тот, кто не поступает праведно, не от Бога, также и тот, кто не любит своего брата. BSB BSB: By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the devil: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother.
11 ULB Это и есть благовествование, которое вы слышали от начала,- чтобы мы любили друг друга, BSB BSB: This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
12 ULB но не так, как Каин, который был от лукавого и убил брата своего. А за что убил его? За то, что дела его были злы, а дела брата его праведны. BSB BSB: Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did Cain slay him? Because his own deeds were evil, while those of his brother were righteous.
13 ULB Не удивляйтесь, братья, если мир ненавидит вас. BSB BSB: So do not be surprised, brothers, if the world hates you.
15 ULB Каждый кто ненавидит своего брата, тот убийца, а вы знаете, что ни в каком убийце не может быть вечной жизни. BSB BSB: Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that eternal life does not reside in a murderer.
16 ULB Мы в том познали любовь, что Он отдал Свою жизнь за нас, и мы должны быть готовы отдать за братьев свою жизнь. BSB BSB: By this we know what love is: Jesus laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
17 ULB А кто имеет достаток в мире, но, видя брата своего в нужде, закрывает от него своё сердце− как может пребывать в нём любовь Божья? BSB BSB: If anyone with earthly possessions sees his brother in need, but withholds his compassion from him, how can the love of God abide in him?
18 ULB Дети мои! Будем любить не словом и языком, но делом и истиной. BSB BSB: Little children, let us love not in word and speech, but in action and truth.
19 ULB Так узнаем, что мы от истины и успокаиваем наши сердца перед Ним. BSB BSB: And by this we will know that we belong to the truth, and will assure our hearts in His presence:
20 ULB Потому что, если наше сердце осуждает нас, то тем более Бог, ведь Бог больше нашего сердца и знает всё. BSB BSB: Even if our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts, and He knows all things.
21 ULB Возлюбленные! Если наше сердце не осуждает нас, то мы имеем смелость приходить к Богу, BSB BSB: Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God,
22 ULB и, о чём ни попросим, получим от Него, потому что исполняем Его повеления и делаем то, что угодно Ему. BSB BSB: and we will receive from Him whatever we ask, because we keep His commandments and do what is pleasing in His sight.
23 ULB А повеление Его в том, чтобы мы верили во имя Его Сына Иисуса Христа и любили друг друга, как Он повелел нам. BSB BSB: And this is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we should love one another just as He commanded us.
24 ULB И кто сохраняет повеления Его, тот пребывает в Нём, и Он в том. А что Он пребывает в нас, узнаем по духу, которго Он нам дал. BSB BSB: Whoever keeps His commandments remains in God, and God in him. And by this we know that He remains in us: by the Spirit He has given us.
