2 Timothy 2 (ULB)

1Итак, сын мой, укрепляйся в благодати Иисусом Христом,You therefore, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2и то, что слышал от меня в присутствии многих свидетелей, то передай верным людям, которые будут способны научить и других.And the things that you have heard me say among many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be qualified to teach others as well.

3Итак, переноси страдания как добрый воин Иисуса Христа.Join me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

4Никакой воин не связывает себя житейскими делами, чтобы угодить военоначальнику.A soldier refrains from entangling himself in civilian affairs, in order to please the one who enlisted him.

5Если же кто-то участвует в состязании не по правилам, то не получит награды.Likewise, a competitor does not receive the crown unless he competes according to the rules.

6Трудящемуся земледельцу положено первому получить часть урожая.The hardworking farmer should be the first to partake of the crops.

7Пойми то, что я говорю. Пусть Господь даст тебе понимание во всём.Consider what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all things.

8Помни, нашего Господа Иисуса Христа, воскресшего из мёртвых, от семени Давида, по моему благовестию,Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David, as proclaimed by my gospel,

9за которое я страдаю даже до уз, как злодей, но для слова Божьего нет уз.for which I suffer to the extent of being chained like a criminal. But the word of God cannot be chained!

10Поэтому я всё терплю ради избранных, чтобы и они получили спасение в Иисусе Христе с вечной славой.For this reason I endure all things for the sake of the elect, so that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

11Правильно сказано: «Если мы с Ним умерли, то с Ним и оживём,This is a trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him;

12если терпим, то с Ним и царствовать будем, если отречёмся, то и Он отречётся от нас,if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us;

13если мы неверны, то Он остаётся верным, потому что отречься от Самого Себя не может».if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

14Напоминай это, заклиная перед Господом не вступать в споры, что не служит для пользы, а наоборот, расстраивает слушающих.Remind the believers of these things, charging them before God to avoid quarreling over words, which succeeds only in leading the listeners to ruin.

15Старайся представить себя Богу достойным, безукоризненным, правильно преподающим слово истины.Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman who accurately handles the word of truth.

16А бесполезных разговоров избегай. Ведь они ещё более будут преуспевать в нечестии,But avoid irreverent, empty chatter, which will only lead to more ungodliness,

17и слова их, как рак, будут распространяться. Именно такие Именей и Филит.and the talk of such men will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus,

18Они отошли от истины, говоря, что воскресение уже было, и таким образом разрушают веру в некоторых людях.who have deviated from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already occurred, and they undermine the faith of some.

19Но твердое основание Бога стоит, имея такую печать: «Господь знает Своих» и «пусть удалится от неправедности всякий произносящий имя Господа».Nevertheless, God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord must turn away from iniquity.”

20В большом доме есть посуда не только золотая и серебряная, но и деревянная и глиняная. Одна используется в почётном употреблении, а другая— не в почётном.A large house contains not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay. Some indeed are for honorable use, but others are for common use.

21Поэтому, кто будет чистым от этого, тот будет в почёте, освящённым и полезным Хозяину, годным для любого доброго дела.So if anyone cleanses himself of what is unfit, he will be a vessel for honor: sanctified, useful to the Master, and prepared for every good work.

22Юношеских страстей избегай и придерживайся справедливости, верности, любви, мира вместе со всеми призывающими Господа от чистого сердца.Flee from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

23От глупых и невежественных споров уклоняйся, зная, что в результате их появляются ссоры.But reject foolish and ignorant speculation, for you know that it breeds quarreling.

24Раб Господа должен не ссориться, но быть приветливым ко всем, способным научить, терпеливым,And a servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome, but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, and forbearing.

25в кротости исправлять противников— не даст ли им Бог покаяния к познанию истины,He must gently reprove those who oppose him, in the hope that God may grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth.

26и чтобы они освободились от сети дьявола, который поймал их и побуждает исполнять его волю.Then they will come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, who has taken them captive to his will.
