1 ULB Услышали апостолы и братия, которые находились в Иудее, что и язычники приняли Божье слово. BSB BSB: The apostles and brothers throughout Judea soon heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.
2 ULB И когда Пётр пришел в Иерусалим, обрезанные его осуждали, BSB BSB: So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers took issue with him
3 ULB говоря: ты ходил к людям необрезанным и с ними ел. BSB BSB: and said, “You visited uncircumcised men and ate with them.”
4 ULB Пётр начал излагать им по порядку, говоря: BSB BSB: But Peter began and explained to them the whole sequence of events:
5 ULB "В городе Иоппии я молился и в исступлении видел видение: сходил некоторый предмет, как бы большой парус, за четыре угла спускаемый с неба, и спустился ко мне. BSB BSB: “I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision of something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came right down to me.
6 ULB Я посмотрел в него и, рассматривая, увидел четвероногих земных, зверей, пресмыкающихся и небесных птиц. BSB BSB: I looked at it closely and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds of the air.
7 ULB И услышал я голос, говоривший ко мне: «встань, Пётр, заколи и ешь». BSB BSB: Then I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Get up, Peter, kill and eat.’
8 ULB Я же сказал: «нет, Господи, ничего мерзкого или нечистого никогда не прикосалось к губам моим». BSB BSB: ‘No, Lord,’ I said, ‘for nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’
9 ULB И отвечал мне голос второй раз с неба: "Что Бог очистил, того ты не считай нечистым". BSB BSB: But the voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.’
10 ULB Это было три раза, и поднялось всё на небо. BSB BSB: This happened three times, and everything was drawn back up into heaven.
11 ULB Тотчас, три человека посланные ко мне из Кесарии, подошли к дому, в котором я был. BSB BSB: Just then three men sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying.
12 ULB Дух сказал мне, чтобы я не сомниваясь, шёл с ними. И шесть братьев пошли со мною, и мы пришли в дом того человека. BSB BSB: The Spirit told me to accompany them without hesitation. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s home.
14 ULB он скажет тебе слова, которыми спасёшься ты и весь твой дом". BSB BSB: He will convey to you a message by which you and all your household will be saved.’
15 ULB Когда же я начал говорить, сошёл на них Дух Святой, как и на нас вначале. BSB BSB: As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, just as He had fallen upon us at the beginning.
16 ULB Тогда я вспомнил слово Господа, как Он говорил: "Иоанн крестил водою, а вы будете крещены Духом Святым". BSB BSB: Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
17 ULB Итак, если Бог дал им такой же дар, как и нам, уверовавшим в Господа Иисуса Христа, то кто же я, чтобы мог препятствовать Богу? BSB BSB: So if God gave them the same gift He gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to hinder the work of God?”
18 ULB Выслушав это, они успокоились и прославили Бога, и сказали: "Видно, и язычникам дал Бог покаяние в жизнь". BSB BSB: When they heard this, they had no further objections, and they glorified God, saying, “So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life.”
19 ULB Тогда те, которые рассеялись из-за гонения, которое было после Стефана, дошли до Финикии, Кипра и Антиохии, никому не говорили слово, кроме иудеев. BSB BSB: Meanwhile those scattered by the persecution that began with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the message only to Jews.
21 ULB И была рука Господа с ними, и большое число людей, уверовали и обратились к Господу. BSB BSB: The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.
22 ULB Слух об этом дошёл до церкви находящейся в Иерусалиме, и отправили Варнаву в Антиохию. BSB BSB: When news of this reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, they sent Barnabas to Antioch.
23 ULB Он, прибыв и увидев благодать Бога, обрадовался и убеждал всех искренним сердцем держаться Господа, BSB BSB: When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to abide in the Lord with all their hearts.
24 ULB так как он был муж добрый и исполненный Духа Святого и веры. И присоединилось множество народа к Господу. BSB BSB: Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.
25 ULB Потом Варнава пошёл в Тарс искать Савла и, найдя его, привёл в Антиохию. BSB BSB: Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,
26 ULB Целый год они собирались в церкви и учили множество людей, и ученики в Антиохии в первый раз стали называться Христианами. BSB BSB: and when he found him, he brought him back to Antioch. So for a full year they met together with the church and taught large numbers of people. The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.
27 ULB В те дни пришли пророки из Иерусалима в Антиохию. BSB BSB: In those days some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
28 ULB И один из них, по имени Агав, встал и Духом предсказал, что по всей земле будет великий голод, который и был при Цезаре Клавдии. BSB BSB: One of them named Agabus stood up and predicted through the Spirit that a great famine would sweep across the whole world. (This happened under Claudius.)
29 ULB Тогда ученики определили, каждый по своему достатку, послать помощь братьям, живущим в Иудее, BSB BSB: So the disciples, each according to his ability, decided to send relief to the brothers living in Judea.
30 ULB что и сделали, отправив собранное через Варнаву и Савла к пресвитерам. BSB BSB: This they did, sending their gifts to the elders with Barnabas and Saul.
