1 ULB Сказав это, Иисус вышел со Своими учениками за поток Кедрон, где был сад, в который Он вошёл со Своими учениками. BSB BSB: After Jesus had spoken these words, He went out with His disciples across the Kidron Valley, where they entered a garden.
2 ULB Знал же это место и Иуда, Его предатель, потому что Иисус часто собирался там со Своими учениками. BSB BSB: Now Judas His betrayer also knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with His disciples.
3 ULB Итак, Иуда, взяв отряд воинов и служителей от первосвященников и фарисеев, приходит туда с факелами, светильниками и оружием. BSB BSB: So Judas brought a band of soldiers and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees. They arrived at the garden carrying lanterns, torches, and weapons.
4 ULB Иисус же, зная всё, что с Ним будет, вышел и сказал им: «Кого ищете?» BSB BSB: Jesus, knowing all that was coming upon Him, stepped forward and asked them, “Whom are you seeking?”
5 ULB Ему отвечали: «Иисуса Назорея». Иисус говорит им: «Это Я». Стоял же с ними и Иуда, Его предатель. BSB BSB: “Jesus of Nazareth,” they answered. Jesus said, “I am He.” And Judas His betrayer was standing there with them.
6 ULB И когда сказал им «это Я»,– они отступили назад и упали на землю. BSB BSB: When Jesus said, “I am He,” they drew back and fell to the ground.
7 ULB Снова спросил их: «Кого ищете?» Они сказали: «Иисуса Назорея». BSB BSB: So He asked them again, “Whom are you seeking?” “Jesus of Nazareth,” they answered.
8 ULB Иисус отвечал: «Я сказал вам, что это Я. Итак, если ищете Меня, оставьте их, пусть идут»,– BSB BSB: “I told you that I am He,” Jesus replied. “So if you are looking for Me, let these men go.”
9 ULB так исполнилось слово, сказанное Им «из тех, которых Ты Мне дал, Я никого не погубил». BSB BSB: This was to fulfill the word He had spoken: “I have not lost one of those You have given Me.”
10 ULB Симон же Пётр, имея меч, извлёк его и ударил раба первосвященника, и отсёк ему правое ухо. Звали раба Малх. BSB BSB: Then Simon Peter drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.
11 ULB Но Иисус сказал Петру: «Вложи меч в ножны. Неужели Мне не пить чашу, которую дал Мне Отец?» BSB BSB: “Put your sword back in its sheath!” Jesus said to Peter. “Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given Me?”
12 ULB Тогда воины, тысяченачальник и иудейские храмовые служители взяли Иисуса и связали Его, BSB BSB: Then the band of soldiers, with its commander and the officers of the Jews, arrested Jesus and bound Him.
14 ULB Это тот Каиафа, который дал совет иудеям, что лучше одному человеку умереть за всех людей. BSB BSB: Caiaphas was the one who had advised the Jews that it would be better if one man died for the people.
15 ULB За Иисусом следовали Симон Пётр и другой ученик; ученик же этот был знаком с первосвященником и вошёл с Иисусом в первосвященнический двор, BSB BSB: Now Simon Peter and another disciple were following Jesus. Since that disciple was known to the high priest, he also went with Jesus into the courtyard of the high priest.
16 ULB а Пётр стоял снаружи за дверями. Потом другой ученик, который был знаком с первосвященником, вышел, сказал привратнице и ввёл Петра. BSB BSB: But Peter stood outside at the door. Then the disciple who was known to the high priest went out and spoke to the doorkeeper, and brought Peter in.
17 ULB Тут служанка привратница говорит Петру: «А ты не из учеников ли Этого Человека?» Он сказал: «Нет». BSB BSB: At this, the servant girl watching the door said to Peter, “Aren’t you also one of this man’s disciples?” “I am not,” he answered.
18 ULB Между тем рабы и храмовые служители, разведя огонь, стояли и грелись, потому что было холодно. Пётр также стоял с ними и грелся. BSB BSB: Because it was cold, the servants and officers were standing around a charcoal fire they had made to keep warm. And Peter was also standing with them, warming himself.
19 ULB Первосвященник же спросил Иисуса о Его учениках и о Его учении. BSB BSB: Meanwhile, the high priest questioned Jesus about His disciples and His teaching.
20 ULB Иисус отвечал ему: «Я говорил миру открыто. Я всегда учил в синагоге и в храме, где собираются все иудеи, и тайно не говорил ничего. BSB BSB: “I have spoken openly to the world,” Jesus answered. “I always taught in the synagogues and at the temple, where all the Jews come together. I said nothing in secret.
21 ULB Почему спрашиваешь Меня? Спроси слышавших, что Я говорил им, они знают, что Я говорил». BSB BSB: Why are you asking Me? Ask those who heard My message. Surely they know what I said.”
22 ULB Когда Он сказал это, один из храмовых служителей, стоявший близко, ударил Иисуса по щеке, сказав: «Как Ты отвечаешь первосвященнику?» BSB BSB: When Jesus had said this, one of the officers standing nearby slapped Him in the face and said, “Is this how You answer the high priest?”
23 ULB Иисус отвечал ему: «Если Я ответил плохо, скажи, что плохо. А если хорошо, то за что ты Меня бьёшь?» BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “If I said something wrong, testify as to what was wrong. But if I spoke correctly, why did you strike Me?”
24 ULB Анна послал Его, связанного, к первосвященнику Каиафе. BSB BSB: Then Annas sent Him, still bound, to Caiaphas the high priest.
25 ULB А Симон Пётр стоял и грелся. Тут сказали ему: «Ты не из учеников ли Его?» Он отрёкся и сказал: «Нет». BSB BSB: Simon Peter was still standing and warming himself. So they asked him, “Aren’t you also one of His disciples?” He denied it and said, “I am not.”
26 ULB Один из рабов первосвященника, родственник того, кому Пётр отсёк ухо, говорит: «Не тебя ли я видел с Ним в саду?» BSB BSB: One of the high priest’s servants, a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off, asked, “Didn’t I see you with Him in the garden?”
27 ULB Пётр опять отрёкся, и в это время прокричал петух. BSB BSB: Peter denied it once more, and immediately a rooster crowed.
28 ULB От Каиафы повели Иисуса в преторию. Было утро, и они не вошли в преторию, чтобы не оскверниться, но чтобы можно было есть пасху. BSB BSB: Then they led Jesus away from Caiaphas into the Praetorium. By now it was early morning, and the Jews did not enter the Praetorium, to avoid being defiled and unable to eat the Passover.
29 ULB Пилат вышел к ним и сказал: «В чём вы обвиняете Этого Человека?» BSB BSB: So Pilate went out to them and asked, “What accusation are you bringing against this man?”
30 ULB Они сказали ему в ответ: «Если бы Он не был злодей, мы бы не передали Его тебе». BSB BSB: “If He were not a criminal,” they replied, “we would not have handed Him over to you.”
31 ULB Пилат сказал им: «Вы возьмите Его и судите Его по вашему закону». Иудеи сказали ему: «Нам не позволено предавать смерти никого»,– BSB BSB: “You take Him and judge Him by your own law,” Pilate told them. “We are not permitted to execute anyone,” the Jews replied.
32 ULB так исполнилось слово Иисуса, которое Он сказал, давая понять, какой смертью Он умрёт. BSB BSB: This was to fulfill the word that Jesus had spoken to indicate the kind of death He was going to die.
34 ULB Иисус отвечал ему: «От себя ли ты это говоришь или другие рассказали тебе обо Мне?» BSB BSB: “Are you saying this on your own,” Jesus asked, “or did others tell you about Me?”
35 ULB Пилат отвечал: «Разве я иудей? Твой народ и первосвященники передали мне Тебя. Что Ты сделал?» BSB BSB: “Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied. “Your own people and chief priests handed You over to me. What have You done?”
37 ULB Пилат сказал Ему:«Так Ты Царь?» Иисус отвечал: «Ты говоришь, что Я Царь. Я для того и родился, и для того пришёл в мир, чтобы свидетельствовать об истине. Всякий, кто от истины, слушает Мой голос». BSB BSB: “Then You are a king!” Pilate said. “You say that I am a king,” Jesus answered. “For this reason I was born and have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice.”
38 ULB Пилат сказал Ему: «Что есть истина?» И, сказав это, опять вышел к иудеям и сказал им: «Никакой вины я в Нём не нахожу. BSB BSB: “What is truth?” Pilate asked. And having said this, he went out again to the Jews and told them, “I find no basis for a charge against Him.
39 ULB Есть же у вас обычай, чтобы я одного отпускал вам на Пасху. Хотите, отпущу вам Иудейского Царя?» BSB BSB: But it is your custom that I release to you one prisoner at the Passover. So then, do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”
40 ULB Тогда опять закричали все: «Не Его, а Варавву». Варавва же был разбойник. BSB BSB: “Not this man,” they shouted, “but Barabbas!” (Now Barabbas was an insurrectionist.)
