3 RV Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; BSB BSB: He who forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases,
4 RV Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies: BSB BSB: who redeems your life from the Pit and crowns you with loving devotion and compassion,
5 RV Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle. BSB BSB: who satisfies you with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 RV The LORD executeth righteous acts, and judgments for all that are oppressed. BSB BSB: The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
7 RV He made known his ways unto Moses, his doings unto the children of Israel. BSB BSB: He made known His ways to Moses, His deeds to the people of Israel.
8 RV The LORD is full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. BSB BSB: The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion.
9 RV He will not always chide; neither will he keep his anger for ever. BSB BSB: He will not always accuse us, nor harbor His anger forever.
10 RV He hath not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us after our iniquities. BSB BSB: He has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities.
11 RV For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. BSB BSB: For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His loving devotion for those who fear Him.
12 RV As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. BSB BSB: As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 RV Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. BSB BSB: As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.
14 RV For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. BSB BSB: For He knows our frame; He is mindful that we are dust.
15 RV As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. BSB BSB: As for man, his days are like grass—he blooms like a flower of the field;
16 RV For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. BSB BSB: when the wind passes over, it vanishes, and its place remembers it no more.
17 RV But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children; BSB BSB: But from everlasting to everlasting the loving devotion of the LORD extends to those who fear Him, and His righteousness to their children’s children—
18 RV To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his precepts to do them. BSB BSB: to those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts.
19 RV The LORD hath established his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. BSB BSB: The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.
20 RV Bless the LORD, ye angels of his: ye mighty in strength, that fulfill his word, hearkening unto the voice of his word. BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, all His angels mighty in strength who carry out His word, who hearken to the voice of His command.
21 RV Bless the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, all His hosts, you servants who do His will.
22 RV Bless the LORD, all ye his works, in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul. BSB BSB: Bless the LORD, all His works in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!
