Your Word Is a Lamp to My Feet 1 RV Blessed are they that are perfect in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. BSB BSB: Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law of the LORD.
2 RV Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, that seek him with the whole heart. BSB BSB: Blessed are those who keep His testimonies and seek Him with all their heart.
3 RV Yea, they do no unrighteousness; they walk in his ways. BSB BSB: They do no iniquity; they walk in His ways.
4 RV Thou hast commanded us thy precepts, that we should observe them diligently. BSB BSB: You have ordained Your precepts, that we should keep them diligently.
5 RV Oh that my ways were established to observe thy statutes! BSB BSB: Oh, that my ways were committed to keeping Your statutes!
6 RV Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. BSB BSB: Then I would not be ashamed when I consider all Your commandments.
7 RV I will give thanks unto thee with uprightness of heart, when I learn thy righteous judgments. BSB BSB: I will praise You with an upright heart when I learn Your righteous judgments.
8 RV I will observe thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. BSB BSB: I will keep Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.
9 RV Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. BSB BSB: How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word.
10 RV With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. BSB BSB: With all my heart I have sought You; do not let me stray from Your commandments.
11 RV Thy word have I laid up in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. BSB BSB: I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.
12 RV Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes. BSB BSB: Blessed are You, O LORD; teach me Your statutes.
13 RV With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. BSB BSB: With my lips I proclaim all the judgments of Your mouth.
14 RV I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. BSB BSB: I rejoice in the way of Your testimonies as much as in all riches.
15 RV I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. BSB BSB: I will meditate on Your precepts and regard Your ways.

20 RV My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times. BSB BSB: My soul is consumed with longing for Your judgments at all times.
21 RV Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do wander from thy commandments. BSB BSB: You rebuke the arrogant—the cursed who stray from Your commandments.
22 RV Take away from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies. BSB BSB: Remove my scorn and contempt, for I have kept Your testimonies.
23 RV Princes also sat and talked against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes. BSB BSB: Though rulers sit and slander me, Your servant meditates on Your statutes.
24 RV Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors. BSB BSB: Your testimonies are indeed my delight; they are my counselors.
25 RV My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word. BSB BSB: My soul cleaves to the dust; revive me according to Your word.

38 RV Confirm thy word unto thy servant, which belongeth unto the fear of thee. BSB BSB: Establish Your word to Your servant, to produce reverence for You.
39 RV Turn away my reproach whereof I am afraid; for thy judgments are good. BSB BSB: Turn away the disgrace I dread, for Your judgments are good.
40 RV Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness. BSB BSB: How I long for Your precepts! Revive me in Your righteousness.
41 RV Let thy mercies also come unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word. BSB BSB: May Your loving devotion come to me, O LORD, Your salvation, according to Your promise.
42 RV So shall I have an answer for him that reproacheth me; for I trust in thy word. BSB BSB: Then I can answer him who taunts, for I trust in Your word.
43 RV And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments. BSB BSB: Never take Your word of truth from my mouth, for I hope in Your judgments.
