2 RV He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my high tower; I shall not be greatly moved. BSB BSB: He alone is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress; I will never be shaken.
3 RV How long will ye set upon a man, that ye may slay him , all of you, like a bowing wall, like a tottering fence? BSB BSB: How long will you threaten a man? Will all of you throw him down like a leaning wall or a tottering fence?
4 RV They only consult to thrust him down from his excellency; they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah BSB BSB: They fully intend to cast him down from his lofty perch; they delight in lies; with their mouths they bless, but inwardly they curse. Selah
5 RV My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. BSB BSB: Rest in God alone, O my soul, for my hope comes from Him.

7 RV With God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. BSB BSB: My salvation and my honor rest on God, my strong rock; my refuge is in God.
8 RV Trust in him at all times, ye people; pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah BSB BSB: Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. Selah
9 RV Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: in the balances they will go up; they are together lighter than vanity. BSB BSB: Lowborn men are but a vapor; the exalted are but a lie. Weighed on the scale, they go up; together they are but a vapor.
10 RV Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart thereon . BSB BSB: Place no trust in extortion or false hope in stolen goods. If your riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.
11 RV God hath spoken once, twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God: BSB BSB: God has spoken once; I have heard this twice: that power belongs to God,
12 RV Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work. BSB BSB: and loving devotion to You, O Lord. For You will repay each man according to his deeds.
