2 RV O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. BSB BSB: O You who listen to prayer, all people will come to You.
3 RV Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away. BSB BSB: When iniquities prevail against me, You atone for our transgressions.
4 RV Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee , that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, the holy place of thy temple. BSB BSB: Blessed is the one You choose and bring near to dwell in Your courts! We are filled with the goodness of Your house, the holiness of Your temple.
5 RV By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation; thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea: BSB BSB: With awesome deeds of righteousness You answer us, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas.
6 RV Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded about with might: BSB BSB: You formed the mountains by Your power, having girded Yourself with might.
7 RV Which stilleth the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples. BSB BSB: You stilled the roaring of the seas, the pounding of their waves, and the tumult of the nations.
8 RV They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice. BSB BSB: Those who live far away fear Your wonders; You make the dawn and sunset shout for joy.
9 RV Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, thou greatly enrichest it; the river of God is full of water: thou providest them corn, when thou hast so prepared the earth. BSB BSB: You attend to the earth and water it; with abundance You enrich it. The streams of God are full of water, for You prepare our grain by providing for the earth.
10 RV Thou waterest her furrows abundantly; thou settlest the ridges thereof: thou makest it soft with showers; thou blessest the springing thereof. BSB BSB: You soak its furrows and level its ridges; You soften it with showers and bless its growth.
11 RV Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness. BSB BSB: You crown the year with Your bounty, and Your paths overflow with plenty.
12 RV They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the hills are girded with joy. BSB BSB: The pastures of the wilderness overflow; the hills are robed with joy.
13 RV The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing. BSB BSB: The pastures are clothed with flocks, and the valleys are decked with grain. They shout in triumph; indeed, they sing.
