1. 1RV09LO que era desde el principio, lo que hemos oído, lo que hemos visto con nuestros ojos, lo que hemos mirado, y palparon nuestras manos tocante al Verbo de vida;BSBBSB: That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our own eyes, which we have gazed upon and touched with our own hands—this is the Word of life.
2. 2RV09(Porque la vida fué manifestada, y vimos, y testificamos, y os anunciamos aquella vida eterna, la cual estaba con el Padre, y nos ha aparecido;)BSBBSB: And this is the life that was revealed; we have seen it and testified to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us.
3. 3RV09Lo que hemos visto y oído, eso os anunciamos, para que también vosotros tengáis comunión con nosotros: y nuestra comunión verdaderamente es con el Padre, y con su Hijo Jesucristo.BSBBSB: We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
4. 4RV09Y estas cosas os escribimos, para que vuestro gozo sea cumplido.BSBBSB: We write these things so that our joy may be complete.
5. 5RV09Y este es el mensaje que oímos de él, y os anunciamos: Que Dios es luz, y en él no hay ningunas tinieblas.BSBBSB: And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
6. 6RV09Si nosotros dijéremos que tenemos comunión con él, y andamos en tinieblas, mentimos, y no hacemos la verdad;BSBBSB: If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7. 7RV09Mas si andamos en luz, como él está en luz, tenemos comunión entre nosotros, y la sangre de Jesucristo su Hijo nos limpia de todo pecado.BSBBSB: But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8. 8RV09Si dijéremos que no tenemos pecado, nos engañamos á nosotros mismos, y no hay verdad en nosotros.BSBBSB: If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9. 9RV09Si confesamos nuestros pecados, él es fiel y justo para que nos perdone nuestros pecados, y nos limpie de toda maldad.BSBBSB: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10. 10RV09Si dijéremos que no hemos pecado, lo hacemos á él mentiroso, y su palabra no está en nosotros.BSBBSB: If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.
