1ប្រថមតោ យេ សាក្ឞិណោ វាក្យប្រចារកាឝ្ចាសន៑ តេៜស្មាកំ មធ្យេ យទ្យត៑ សប្រមាណំ វាក្យមប៌យន្តិ ស្មMany have undertaken to compose an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us,

2តទនុសារតោៜន្យេបិ ពហវស្តទ្វ្ឫត្តាន្តំ រចយិតុំ ប្រវ្ឫត្តាះ។just as they were handed down to us by the initial eyewitnesses and servants of the word.

3អតឯវ ហេ មហាមហិមថិយផិល៑ ត្វំ យា យាះ កថា អឝិក្ឞ្យថាស្តាសាំ ទ្ឫឍប្រមាណានិ យថា ប្រាប្នោឞិTherefore, having carefully investigated everything from the beginning, it seemed good also to me to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus,

4តទត៌្ហំ ប្រថមមារភ្យ តានិ សវ៌្វាណិ ជ្ញាត្វាហមបិ អនុក្រមាត៑ សវ៌្វវ្ឫត្តាន្តាន៑ តុភ្យំ លេខិតុំ មតិមកាឞ៌ម៑។so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.

5យិហូទាទេឝីយហេរោទ្នាមកេ រាជត្វំ កុវ៌្វតិ អពីយយាជកស្យ បយ៌្យាយាធិការី សិខរិយនាមក ឯកោ យាជកោ ហារោណវំឝោទ្ភវា ឥលីឝេវាខ្យាIn the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah, and whose wife Elizabeth was a descendant of Aaron.

6តស្យ ជាយា ទ្វាវិមៅ និទ៌ោឞៅ ប្រភោះ សវ៌្វាជ្ញា វ្យវស្ថាឝ្ច សំមន្យ ឦឝ្វរទ្ឫឞ្ដៅ ធាម៌្មិកាវាស្តាម៑។Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and decrees of the Lord.

7តយោះ សន្តាន ឯកោបិ នាសីត៑, យត ឥលីឝេវា ពន្ធ្យា តៅ ទ្វាវេវ វ្ឫទ្ធាវភវតាម៑។But they had no children, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well along in years.

8យទា ស្វបយ៌្យានុក្រមេណ សិខរិយ ឦឝ្វាស្យ សមក្ឞំ យាជកីយំ កម៌្ម ករោតិOne day while Zechariah’s division was on duty and he was serving as priest before God,

9តទា យជ្ញស្យ ទិនបរិបាយ្យា បរមេឝ្វរស្យ មន្ទិរេ ប្រវេឝកាលេ ធូបជ្វាលនំ កម៌្ម តស្យ ករណីយមាសីត៑។he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to enter the temple of the Lord and burn incense.

10តទ្ធូបជ្វាលនកាលេ លោកនិវហេ ប្រាត៌្ហនាំ កត៌ុំ ពហិស្តិឞ្ឋតិAnd at the hour of the incense offering, the whole congregation was praying outside.

11សតិ សិខរិយោ យស្យាំ វេទ្យាំ ធូបំ ជ្វាលយតិ តទ្ទក្ឞិណបាឝ៌្វេ បរមេឝ្វរស្យ ទូត ឯក ឧបស្ថិតោ ទឝ៌នំ ទទៅ។Just then an angel of the Lord appeared to Zechariah, standing at the right side of the altar of incense.

12តំ ទ្ឫឞ្ដ្វា សិខរិយ ឧទ្វិវិជេ ឝឝង្កេ ច។When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and gripped with fear.

13តទា ស ទូតស្តំ ពភាឞេ ហេ សិខរិយ មា ភៃស្តវ ប្រាត៌្ហនា គ្រាហ្យា ជាតា តវ ភាយ៌្យា ឥលីឝេវា បុត្រំ ប្រសោឞ្យតេ តស្យ នាម យោेហន៑ ឥតិ ករិឞ្យសិ។But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to give him the name John.

14កិញ្ច ត្វំ សានន្ទះ សហឞ៌ឝ្ច ភវិឞ្យសិ តស្យ ជន្មនិ ពហវ អានន្ទិឞ្យន្តិ ច។He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice at his birth,

15យតោ ហេតោះ ស បរមេឝ្វរស្យ គោចរេ មហាន៑ ភវិឞ្យតិ តថា ទ្រាក្ឞារសំ សុរាំ វា កិមបិ ន បាស្យតិ, អបរំ ជន្មារភ្យ បវិត្រេណាត្មនា បរិបូណ៌ះfor he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He shall never take wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb.

16សន៑ ឥស្រាយេល្វំឝីយាន៑ អនេកាន៑ ប្រភោះ បរមេឝ្វរស្យ មាគ៌មានេឞ្យតិ។Many of the sons of Israel he will turn back to the Lord their God.

17សន្តានាន៑ ប្រតិ បិត្ឫណាំ មនាំសិ ធម៌្មជ្ញានំ ប្រត្យនាជ្ញាគ្រាហិណឝ្ច បរាវត៌្តយិតុំ, ប្រភោះ បរមេឝ្វរស្យ សេវាត៌្ហម៑ ឯកាំ សជ្ជិតជាតិំ វិធាតុញ្ច ស ឯលិយរូបាត្មឝក្តិប្រាប្តស្តស្យាគ្រេ គមិឞ្យតិ។And he will go on before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

18តទា សិខរិយោ ទូតមវាទីត៑ កថមេតទ៑ វេត្ស្យាមិ? យតោហំ វ្ឫទ្ធោ មម ភាយ៌្យា ច វ្ឫទ្ធា។“How can I be sure of this?” Zechariah asked the angel. “I am an old man, and my wife is well along in years.”

19តតោ ទូតះ ប្រត្យុវាច បឝ្យេឝ្វរស្យ សាក្ឞាទ្វត៌្តី ជិព្រាយេល្នាមា ទូតោហំ ត្វយា សហ កថាំ គទិតុំ តុភ្យមិមាំ ឝុភវាត៌្តាំ ទាតុញ្ច ប្រេឞិតះ។“I am Gabriel,” replied the angel. “I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.

20កិន្តុ មទីយំ វាក្យំ កាលេ ផលិឞ្យតិ តត៑ ត្វយា ន ប្រតីតម៑ អតះ ការណាទ៑ យាវទេវ តានិ ន សេត្ស្យន្តិ តាវត៑ ត្វំ វក្តុំមឝក្តោ មូកោ ភវ។And now you will be silent and unable to speak until the day this comes to pass, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled at their proper time.”

21តទានីំ យេ យេ លោកាះ សិខរិយមបៃក្ឞន្ត តេ មធ្យេមន្ទិរំ តស្យ ពហុវិលម្ពាទ៑ អាឝ្ចយ៌្យំ មេនិរេ។Meanwhile, the people were waiting for Zechariah and wondering why he took so long in the temple.

22ស ពហិរាគតោ យទា កិមបិ វាក្យំ វក្តុមឝក្តះ សង្កេតំ ក្ឫត្វា និះឝព្ទស្តស្យៅ តទា មធ្យេមន្ទិរំ កស្យចិទ៑ ទឝ៌នំ តេន ប្រាប្តម៑ ឥតិ សវ៌្វេ ពុពុធិរេ។When he came out and was unable to speak to them, they realized he had seen a vision in the temple. He kept making signs to them but remained unable to speak.

23អនន្តរំ តស្យ សេវនបយ៌្យាយេ សម្បូណ៌េ សតិ ស និជគេហំ ជគាម។And when the days of his service were complete, he returned home.

24កតិបយទិនេឞុ គតេឞុ តស្យ ភាយ៌្យា ឥលីឝេវា គព៌្ភវតី ពភូវAfter these days, his wife Elizabeth became pregnant and for five months remained in seclusion. She declared,

25បឝ្ចាត៑ សា បញ្ចមាសាន៑ សំគោប្យាកថយត៑ លោកានាំ សមក្ឞំ មមាបមានំ ខណ្ឌយិតុំ បរមេឝ្វរោ មយិ ទ្ឫឞ្ដិំ បាតយិត្វា កម៌្មេទ្ឫឝំ ក្ឫតវាន៑។“The Lord has done this for me. In these days He has shown me favor and taken away my disgrace among the people.”

26អបរញ្ច តស្យា គព៌្ភស្យ ឞឞ្ឋេ មាសេ ជាតេ គាលីល្ប្រទេឝីយនាសរត្បុរេIn the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to a town in Galilee called Nazareth,

27ទាយូទោ វំឝីយាយ យូឞផ្នាម្នេ បុរុឞាយ យា មរិយម្នាមកុមារី វាគ្ទត្តាសីត៑ តស្យាះ សមីបំ ជិព្រាយេល៑ ទូត ឦឝ្វរេណ ប្រហិតះ។to a virgin pledged in marriage to a man named Joseph, who was of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary.

28ស គត្វា ជគាទ ហេ ឦឝ្វរានុគ្ឫហីតកន្យេ តវ ឝុភំ ភូយាត៑ ប្រភុះ បរមេឝ្វរស្តវ សហាយោស្តិ នារីណាំ មធ្យេ ត្វមេវ ធន្យា។The angel appeared to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

29តទានីំ សា តំ ទ្ឫឞ្ដ្វា តស្យ វាក្យត ឧទ្វិជ្យ កីទ្ឫឝំ ភាឞណមិទម៑ ឥតិ មនសា ចិន្តយាមាស។Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.

30តតោ ទូតោៜវទត៑ ហេ មរិយម៑ ភយំ មាកាឞ៌ីះ, ត្វយិ បរមេឝ្វរស្យានុគ្រហោស្តិ។So the angel told her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

31បឝ្យ ត្វំ គព៌្ភំ ធ្ឫត្វា បុត្រំ ប្រសោឞ្យសេ តស្យ នាម យីឝុរិតិ ករិឞ្យសិ។Behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus.

32ស មហាន៑ ភវិឞ្យតិ តថា សវ៌្វេភ្យះ ឝ្រេឞ្ឋស្យ បុត្រ ឥតិ ខ្យាស្យតិ; អបរំ ប្រភុះ បរមេឝ្វរស្តស្យ បិតុទ៌ាយូទះ សិំហាសនំ តស្មៃ ទាស្យតិ;He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David,

33តថា ស យាកូពោ វំឝោបរិ សវ៌្វទា រាជត្វំ ករិឞ្យតិ, តស្យ រាជត្វស្យាន្តោ ន ភវិឞ្យតិ។and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end!”

34តទា មរិយម៑ តំ ទូតំ ពភាឞេ នាហំ បុរុឞសង្គំ ករោមិ តហ៌ិ កថមេតត៑ សម្ភវិឞ្យតិ?“How can this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”

35តតោ ទូតោៜកថយត៑ បវិត្រ អាត្មា ត្វាមាឝ្រាយិឞ្យតិ តថា សវ៌្វឝ្រេឞ្ឋស្យ ឝក្តិស្តវោបរិ ឆាយាំ ករិឞ្យតិ តតោ ហេតោស្តវ គព៌្ភាទ៑ យះ បវិត្រពាលកោ ជនិឞ្យតេ ស ឦឝ្វរបុត្រ ឥតិ ខ្យាតិំ ប្រាប្ស្យតិ។The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.

36អបរញ្ច បឝ្យ តវ ជ្ញាតិរិលីឝេវា យាំ សវ៌្វេ ពន្ធ្យាមវទន៑ ឥទានីំ សា វាទ៌្ធក្យេ សន្តានមេកំ គព៌្ភេៜធារយត៑ តស្យ ឞឞ្ឋមាសោភូត៑។Look, even Elizabeth your relative has conceived a son in her old age, and she who was called barren is in her sixth month.

37កិមបិ កម៌្ម នាសាធ្យម៑ ឦឝ្វរស្យ។For no word from God will ever fail.”

38តទា មរិយម៑ ជគាទ, បឝ្យ ប្រភេរហំ ទាសី មហ្យំ តវ វាក្យានុសារេណ សវ៌្វមេតទ៑ ឃដតាម៑; អននតរំ ទូតស្តស្យាះ សមីបាត៑ ប្រតស្ថេ។“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it happen to me according to your word.” Then the angel left her.

39អថ កតិបយទិនាត៑ បរំ មរិយម៑ តស្មាត៑ បវ៌្វតមយប្រទេឝីយយិហូទាយា នគរមេកំ ឝីឃ្រំ គត្វាIn those days Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judah,

40សិខរិយយាជកស្យ គ្ឫហំ ប្រវិឝ្យ តស្យ ជាយាម៑ ឥលីឝេវាំ សម្ពោធ្យាវទត៑។where she entered the home of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.

41តតោ មរិយមះ សម្ពោធនវាក្យេ ឥលីឝេវាយាះ កណ៌យោះ ប្រវិឞ្ដមាត្រេ សតិ តស្យា គព៌្ភស្ថពាលកោ ននត៌្ត។ តត ឥលីឝេវា បវិត្រេណាត្មនា បរិបូណ៌ា សតីWhen Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.

42ប្រោច្ចៃគ៌ទិតុមារេភេ, យោឞិតាំ មធ្យេ ត្វមេវ ធន្យា, តវ គព៌្ភស្ថះ ឝិឝុឝ្ច ធន្យះ។In a loud voice she exclaimed, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!

43ត្វំ ប្រភោម៌ាតា, មម និវេឝនេ ត្វយា ចរណាវប៌ិតៅ, មមាទ្យ សៅភាគ្យមេតត៑។And why am I so honored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

44បឝ្យ តវ វាក្យេ មម កណ៌យោះ ប្រវិឞ្ដមាត្រេ សតិ មមោទរស្ថះ ឝិឝុរានន្ទាន៑ ននត៌្ត។For as soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.

45យា ស្ត្រី វ្យឝ្វសីត៑ សា ធន្យា, យតោ ហេតោស្តាំ ប្រតិ បរមេឝ្វរោក្តំ វាក្យំ សវ៌្វំ សិទ្ធំ ភវិឞ្យតិ។Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord’s word to her will be fulfilled.”

46តទានីំ មរិយម៑ ជគាទ។ ធន្យវាទំ បរេឝស្យ ករោតិ មាមកំ មនះ។Then Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord,

47មមាត្មា តារកេឝេ ច សមុល្លាសំ ប្រគច្ឆតិ។and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!

48អករោត៑ ស ប្រភុ រ្ទុឞ្ដិំ ស្វទាស្យា ទុគ៌តិំ ប្រតិ។ បឝ្យាទ្យារភ្យ មាំ ធន្យាំ វក្ឞ្យន្តិ បុរុឞាះ សទា។For He has looked with favor on the humble state of His servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed.

49យះ សវ៌្វឝក្តិមាន៑ យស្យ នាមាបិ ច បវិត្រកំ។ ស ឯវ សុមហត្កម៌្ម ក្ឫតវាន៑ មន្និមិត្តកំ។For the Mighty One has done great things for me. Holy is His name.

50យេ ពិភ្យតិ ជនាស្តស្មាត៑ តេឞាំ សន្តានបំក្តិឞុ។ អនុកម្បា តទីយា ច សវ៌្វទៃវ សុតិឞ្ឋតិ។His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to generation.

51ស្វពាហុពលតស្តេន ប្រាកាឝ្យត បរាក្រមះ។ មនះកុមន្ត្រណាសាទ៌្ធំ វិកីយ៌្យន្តេៜភិមានិនះ។He has performed mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who are proud in the thoughts of their hearts.

52សិំហាសនគតាល្លោកាន៑ ពលិនឝ្ចាវរោហ្យ សះ។ បទេឞូច្ចេឞុ លោកាំស្តុ ក្ឞុទ្រាន៑ សំស្ថាបយត្យបិ។He has brought down rulers from their thrones, but has exalted the humble.

53ក្ឞុធិតាន៑ មានវាន៑ ទ្រវ្យៃរុត្តមៃះ បរិតប៌្យ សះ។ សកលាន៑ ធនិនោ លោកាន៑ វិស្ឫជេទ៑ រិក្តហស្តកាន៑។He has filled the hungry with good things, but has sent the rich away empty.

54ឥព្រាហីមិ ច តទ្វំឝេ យា ទយាស្តិ សទៃវ តាំ។ ស្ម្ឫត្វា បុរា បិត្ឫណាំ នោ យថា សាក្ឞាត៑ ប្រតិឝ្រុតំ។He has helped His servant Israel, remembering to be merciful,

55ឥស្រាយេល្សេវកស្តេន តថោបក្រិយតេ ស្វយំ៕as He promised to our fathers, to Abraham and his descendants forever.”

56អនន្តរំ មរិយម៑ ប្រាយេណ មាសត្រយម៑ ឥលីឝេវយា សហោឞិត្វា វ្យាឃុយ្យ និជនិវេឝនំ យយៅ។Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about three months and then returned home.

57តទនន្តរម៑ ឥលីឝេវាយាះ ប្រសវកាល ឧបស្ថិតេ សតិ សា បុត្រំ ប្រាសោឞ្ដ។When the time came for Elizabeth to have her child, she gave birth to a son.

58តតះ បរមេឝ្វរស្តស្យាំ មហានុគ្រហំ ក្ឫតវាន៑ ឯតត៑ ឝ្រុត្វា សមីបវាសិនះ កុដុម្ពាឝ្ចាគត្យ តយា សហ មុមុទិរេ។Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown her great mercy, and they rejoiced with her.

59តថាឞ្ដមេ ទិនេ តេ ពាលកស្យ ត្វចំ ឆេត្តុម៑ ឯត្យ តស្យ បិត្ឫនាមានុរូបំ តន្នាម សិខរិយ ឥតិ កត៌្តុមីឞុះ។On the eighth day, when they came to circumcise the child, they were going to name him after his father Zechariah.

60កិន្តុ តស្យ មាតាកថយត៑ តន្ន, នាមាស្យ យោហន៑ ឥតិ កត៌្តវ្យម៑។But his mother replied, “No! He shall be called John.”

61តទា តេ វ្យាហរន៑ តវ វំឝមធ្យេ នាមេទ្ឫឝំ កស្យាបិ នាស្តិ។They said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who bears this name.”

62តតះ បរំ តស្យ បិតរំ សិខរិយំ ប្រតិ សង្កេត្យ បប្រច្ឆុះ ឝិឝោះ កិំ នាម ការិឞ្យតេ?So they made signs to his father to find out what he wanted to name the child.

63តតះ ស ផលកមេកំ យាចិត្វា លិលេខ តស្យ នាម យោហន៑ ភវិឞ្យតិ។ តស្មាត៑ សវ៌្វេ អាឝ្ចយ៌្យំ មេនិរេ។Zechariah asked for a tablet and wrote, “His name is John.” And they were all amazed.

64តត្ក្ឞណំ សិខរិយស្យ ជិហ្វាជាឌ្យេៜបគតេ ស មុខំ វ្យាទាយ ស្បឞ្ដវណ៌មុច្ចាយ៌្យ ឦឝ្វរស្យ គុណានុវាទំ ចការ។Immediately Zechariah’s mouth was opened and his tongue was released, and he began to speak, praising God.

65តស្មាច្ចតុទ៌ិក្ស្ថាះ សមីបវាសិលោកា ភីតា ឯវមេតាះ សវ៌្វាះ កថា យិហូទាយាះ បវ៌្វតមយប្រទេឝស្យ សវ៌្វត្រ ប្រចារិតាះ។All their neighbors were filled with awe, and people throughout the hill country of Judea were talking about these events.

66តស្មាត៑ ឝ្រោតារោ មនះសុ ស្ថាបយិត្វា កថយាម្ពភូវុះ កីទ្ឫឝោយំ ពាលោ ភវិឞ្យតិ? អថ បរមេឝ្វរស្តស្យ សហាយោភូត៑។And all who heard this wondered in their hearts and asked, “What then will this child become?” For the Lord’s hand was with him.

67តទា យោហនះ បិតា សិខរិយះ បវិត្រេណាត្មនា បរិបូណ៌ះ សន៑ ឯតាទ្ឫឝំ ភវិឞ្យទ្វាក្យំ កថយាមាស។Then his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied:

68ឥស្រាយេលះ ប្រភុ រ្យស្តុ ស ធន្យះ បរមេឝ្វរះ។ អនុគ្ឫហ្យ និជាល្លោកាន៑ ស ឯវ បរិមោចយេត៑។“Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has visited and redeemed His people.

69វិបក្ឞជនហស្តេភ្យោ យថា មោច្យាមហេ វយំ។ យាវជ្ជីវញ្ច ធម៌្មេណ សារល្យេន ច និព៌្ហយាះ។He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David,

70សេវាមហៃ តមេវៃកម៑ ឯតត្ការណមេវ ច។ ស្វកីយំ សុបវិត្រញ្ច សំស្ម្ឫត្យ និយមំ សទា។as He spoke through His holy prophets, those of ages past,

71ក្ឫបយា បុរុឞាន៑ បូវ៌្វាន៑ និកឞាត៌្ហាត្តុ នះ បិតុះ។ ឥព្រាហីមះ សមីបេ យំ ឝបថំ ក្ឫតវាន៑ បុរា។salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us,

72តមេវ សផលំ កត៌្តំ តថា ឝត្រុគណស្យ ច។ ឫृតីយាការិណឝ្ចៃវ ករេភ្យោ រក្ឞណាយ នះ។to show mercy to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant,

73ស្ឫឞ្ដេះ ប្រថមតះ ស្វីយៃះ បវិត្រៃ រ្ភាវិវាទិភិះ។the oath He swore to our father Abraham, to grant us

74យថោក្តវាន៑ តថា ស្វស្យ ទាយូទះ សេវកស្យ តុ។deliverance from hostile hands, that we may serve Him without fear,

75វំឝេ ត្រាតារមេកំ ស សមុត្បាទិតវាន៑ ស្វយម៑។in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our lives.

76អតោ ហេ ពាលក ត្វន្តុ សវ៌្វេភ្យះ ឝ្រេឞ្ឋ ឯវ យះ។ តស្យៃវ ភាវិវាទីតិ ប្រវិខ្យាតោ ភវិឞ្យសិ។ អស្មាកំ ចរណាន៑ ក្ឞេមេ មាគ៌េ ចាលយិតុំ សទា។ ឯវំ ធ្វាន្តេៜរ្ថតោ ម្ឫត្យោឝ្ឆាយាយាំ យេ តុ មានវាះ។And you, child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for Him,

77ឧបវិឞ្ដាស្តុ តានេវ ប្រកាឝយិតុមេវ ហិ។ ក្ឫត្វា មហានុកម្បាំ ហិ យាមេវ បរមេឝ្វរះ។to give to His people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins,

78ឩទ៌្វ្វាត៑ សូយ៌្យមុទាយ្យៃវាស្មភ្យំ ប្រាទាត្តុ ទឝ៌នំ។ តយានុកម្បយា ស្វស្យ លោកានាំ បាបមោចនេ។because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the Dawn will visit us from on high,

79បរិត្រាណស្យ តេភ្យោ ហិ ជ្ញានវិឝ្រាណនាយ ច។ ប្រភោ រ្មាគ៌ំ បរិឞ្កត៌្តុំ តស្យាគ្រាយី ភវិឞ្យសិ៕to shine on those who live in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.”

80អថ ពាលកះ ឝរីរេណ ពុទ្ធ្យា ច វទ៌្ធិតុមារេភេ; អបរញ្ច ស ឥស្រាយេលោ វំឝីយលោកានាំ សមីបេ យាវន្ន ប្រកដីភូតស្តាស្តាវត៑ ប្រាន្តរេ ន្យវសត៑។And the child grew and became strong in spirit; and he lived in the wilderness until the time of his public appearance to Israel.
