1 John 1 1 1 John The word of life; walking in the light Safwa New Testament A pastoral letter giving believers assurance: those who walk in the light, love one another and confess Jesus come in the flesh know they have eternal life.

BSB BSB: We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
4 SBK Tubhasimbila iga amwee ishihuje ulumojelolwitu lumalihanee. BSB BSB: We write these things so that our joy may be complete.
5 SBK Iizi nongwa zyatahuvua efume wamwene nawalumbilele: Unguluvhe lunkhozyo muhati yakwe inkgisii nemo. BSB BSB: And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
6 SBK Nkashele tuyanje huje tulipashimo numwene tujenda mwankiisi ntwaikhonpela hata bhomba lwioli BSB BSB: If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7 SBK Nghatujenda muulukhozwo, tuhwavwanwa ntetente idanda lwa Yesu uKristi, umwana wakwe, itwozya afume humbivi zyonntii. BSB BSB: But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
9 SBK Khatulambe imbivi zitwu, umwene akamilishe lwoli ohu ohuwoshela imbivi ziitu natozye uwiwi wontii. BSB BSB: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 SBK Khatuyangasatuwombile imbivii twaweha anilengaa umwene izyo lwa kwe naalimo mhati mlitii. BSB BSB: If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.
