1. 1SBKBhabhiza upande uwinje uwinsumbi ukowa ungwa hu GelasiBSBBSB: On the other side of the sea, they arrived in the region of the Gerasenes.
2. 2SBKGafula uwakati uYesu afumaga hunzhi iyituli, umuntu uwipepi ichafu anhiza wa mwene afume wazili inghugwa.BSBBSB: As soon as Jesus got out of the boat, He was met by a man with an unclean spirit, who was coming from the tombs.
3. 3SBKMuntu uyo akhalaga wazili inghughwa. Numo untu uwa zigaga zaidi, numo hata hu manyololo.BSBBSB: This man had been living in the tombs and could no longer be restrained, even with chains.

Na numo uwanga nikhone nahu mene.BSBBSB: Though he was often bound with chains and shackles, he had broken the chains and shattered the shackles. Now there was no one with the strength to subdue him.

6. 6SBKPahalola uYesu litali, anyililile wa mwene naundame witazi wa mwene.BSBBSB: When the man saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees before Him.
7. 7SBKAhalila usauti igozi, “Uwaza ibhombele yenu, uYesu, Umwana wa Ngulubhi uwali Humwanya sana? Ihuwiniha wa Ngulubhi yuyo, ungandedavhwe.”BSBBSB: And he shouted in a loud voice, “What do You want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You before God not to torture me!”
8. 8SBKPipo ali abholile, “Huje ufume mwa muntu bhunu, awe wipepo imbivhi.”BSBBSB: For Jesus had already declared, “Come out of this man, you unclean spirit!”
9. 9SBKWope abhuzya, “Itawa lwaho wi nanu?” Wope ajibule, “Itawa lwani Legion, pipo tuli bhinji.”BSBBSB: “What is your name?” Jesus asked. “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.”
10. 10SBKAmwiniha sana sana angande hutwale hunzi yikowa.BSBBSB: And he begged Jesus repeatedly not to send them out of that region.
11. 11SBKIshi ikundi igosi ilinguluvhe zywa lwanga pamwanya paha gamba,BSBBSB: There on the nearby hillside a large herd of pigs was feeding.
12. 12SBKnabha mwiniha, bhayanga, “Tutume huguluvhe; tinjile muhati yavho.”BSBBSB: So the demons begged Jesus, “Send us to the pigs, so that we may enter them.”
13. 13SBKBhalisiwa; aroho achafu bhahafuma nawinjile muhati mungulivhi, bhape bhahanyilapanzipa gamba paka munsumbi zyabhezya afishe elufu zibhili bhatumbushila munzumbi.BSBBSB: He gave them permission, and the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs, and the herd of about two thousand rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the water.
14. 14SBKNa bhala bhali bhaziliswa igumi bhatumbaga nafumine italifa abafumile ikhaya ni nsi pipo bhuhafwa abhale awenye ahahafumile.BSBBSB: Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened.
15. 15SBKEpo bhahinza wa Yesu na bhahalola umuntu uwayinjililwe namapepo—uwali ni jeshi—akhele panzi, bhakwatizye, abhoneha huhakili zyakwa halali bhope bhahogopa.BSBBSB: When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons sitting there, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
16. 16SBKBhala bhalole hafumile wa muntu uwa hinjililwe ni pepo bhahabhula hafumile wa mwene ahafumile ahusu inguluvhi.BSBBSB: Those who had seen it described what had happened to the demon-possessed man and also to the pigs.
17. 17SBKBhope bhada humwinishe ayepe mkoa gwao.BSBBSB: And the people began to beg Jesus to leave their region.
18. 18SBKPali pawinjila muhati mwintoli umuntu uwahinjililwe nipepo amwiniha huje bha shilaje bhudhi nu mwene.BSBBSB: As He was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed by the demons begged to go with Him.
19. 19SBKLelo haga amwitishile, lelo habhala, “Shilaga hunumba yaho nawabhantu bhao na bhabhule uwabhombile Bwana, iphana ilowapile.”BSBBSB: But Jesus would not allow him. “Go home to your own people,” He said, “and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy He has shown you.”
20. 20SBKIsho ahashila atanganza amambo amagosi uYesu agabhombile wamwene hu Dekapoli, ula muntu aswijile.BSBBSB: So the man went away and began to proclaim throughout the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And everyone was amazed.
21. 21SBKUmuda uYesu palobhoa upande uwinje muhati mwituli ibhunga inyinji ihazywungulaga pati mushinje munsumbi.BSBBSB: When Jesus had again crossed by boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around Him beside the sea.
22. 22SBKUumo uwali longozi wasinagogi, ahitwaga Yailo, ahizile, pali alole, angwile pamagaga agamwene.BSBBSB: A synagogue leader named Jairus arrived, and seeing Jesus, he fell at His feet
23. 23SBKAmwinishe sana amwiniha sana sana, ayanga, “Ulindu wani udodo abhezywa afwe. Ihulamba unyinze ubhishe amakhono pamwene apate ihafya hulamba.”BSBBSB: and pleaded with Him urgently, “My little daughter is near death. Please come and place Your hands on her, so that she will be healed and live.”
24. 24SBKIsho habhala nawo na ibhuga ingosi sana ihada gana bhavhelaga mpepe vhahunzwungula.BSBBSB: So Jesus went with him, and a large crowd followed and pressed around Him.
25. 25SBKWali nu shi uli afuma ama danda amaha ilongo limo na maha gavhili.BSBBSB: And a woman was there who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years.
26. 26SBKAlavhile sana waganga abhinji atumila kila hatu anaho hutaisho sashahavha na hamo. Hata hivyo hakusaidika kwa chochote, lelo pipo ali ihali mbivhi.BSBBSB: She had borne much agony under the care of many physicians and had spent all she had, but to no avail. Instead, her condition had only grown worse.

28. 28SBKPipo alyanjile, “Khanapela nvuzywa amenda agakwe lwe, izavhe mwumi.”BSBBSB: For she kept saying, “If only I touch His garments, I will be healed.”
29. 29SBKPahakhata, afume wakwe idanda iha leha awiyuvwa hula alavhewakwe huleha afume humalabha gakwe.BSBBSB: Immediately her bleeding stopped, and she sensed in her body that she was healed of her affliction.
30. 30SBKMala Yesu agundua ndani yake mwenyewe huje ikhone lwa fuma. Agaluhana uhu nuhu mu phuga mwa bhantu navhuzye, “Yunanu uwagusa umwenda gwani?”BSBBSB: At once Jesus was aware that power had gone out from Him. Turning to the crowd, He asked, “Who touched My garments?”
31. 31SBKAsudwa bhakwe bhabhulile ulola ibhunga izywungulile nawe uyiga 'Yu nanu uwa ngusa?”'BSBBSB: His disciples answered, “You can see the crowd pressing in on You, and yet You ask, ‘Who touched Me?’”
32. 32SBKLelo uYesu ahenya wondi wondi uwa bhombileili.BSBBSB: But He kept looking around to see who had done this.
33. 33SBKUshi, palole ilili fumile afume wa mwene ahogopa nateteme. Aheza nagwe pansi witazi lwakwe nahu bhute izywaziwili zyunti.BSBBSB: Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him trembling in fear, and she told Him the whole truth.
34. 34SBKAyanga wa mwene, “Lendu, awamini waho huponizywe avhemwumi. Shilaga hu himani upone uponywe afume huvhinu waho.”BSBBSB: “Daughter,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be free of your affliction.”
35. 35SBKPali aliayanga, bhamo avhatu bhahinza afume walongozi uwi Sinagogi, bhayangaga, “Ulindu waho afwile. Henu uhumbula umwalimo?”BSBBSB: While He was still speaking, messengers from the house of Jairus arrived and said, “Your daughter is dead; why bother the Teacher anymore?”
36. 36SBKU Yesu pahuvha avhyanga, ahabhula ulongozi uwi Sinagogi, “Unganje awogope. Aminiangatu.”BSBBSB: But Jesus overheard their conversation and said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid; just believe.”
37. 37SBKHaga alusu yayunti alongozanye nawo, ila uPetulo, uYakobo, nu Yohana, uholo wakwe Yakobo.BSBBSB: And He did not allow anyone to accompany Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.
38. 38SBKBhahiza khaya walongozi wi Sinagogi wope ahalola ivhujo akhole sana nalile.BSBBSB: When they arrived at the house of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw the commotion and the people weeping and wailing loudly.
39. 39SBKPahinza khaya, abhabhulile, “Henu musiliha antele yenu mlila? Umwahaga afwile ila agonile.”BSBBSB: He went inside and asked, “Why all this commotion and weeping? The child is not dead, but asleep.”
40. 40SBKBhaseshile, lelo umwene, abhafumya huzi, amwega uYisu wa mwana nunyina nabhala bhabhali palishimo numwene, ahijila muhati mwali umwana.BSBBSB: And they laughed at Him. After He had put them all outside, He took the child’s father and mother and His own companions, and went in to see the child.
41. 41SBKAhega ukhono ugwa mwana ahabhula, “Talitha koum,” ambayo huwayanje, “Lindu umwana bhuha.”BSBBSB: Taking her by the hand, Jesus said, “Talitha koum!” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”
42. 42SBKUmda ufupi umwana adamula na ajende (pipo alina maha ilogo limo naganji gavhili).BSBBSB: Immediately the girl got up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). And at once they were utterly astounded.
43. 43SBKGafula bhahakhatwa nushanga ougosi. Numo yayunthi uyiwaziwa amanye wili. Abha bhula peli ulendu ula ishalye.BSBBSB: Then Jesus gave strict orders that no one should know about this, and He told them to give her something to eat.
