And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
4. 4SBYTulamulembelenga makani awa kwambeti kusangalala kwetu kube kwancine ncine.BSBBSB: We write these things so that our joy may be complete.
5. 5SBYLino mulumbe ngotwalanyumfwa kumwanendi ne kumukambaukila niwakwambeti Lesa emumuni kayi kuliyawa mushinshe muli endiye.BSBBSB: And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
6. 6SBYTwambeti tuli ne Lesa nkakuli bwikalo bwetu nibwa mushinshe, ekwambeti tobandemi shibili mukwamba ne minshilo yetu.BSBBSB: If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
7. 7SBYLino na tulekalanga mu mumuni mbuli endiye ncali mu mumuni ekwambeti tuli pamo nendiye kayi ne milopa ya Yesu mwanendi ikute kutuswepesha kubwipishi.BSBBSB: But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
8. 8SBYLino na tulambangeti tuliya bwipishi, tulalibepenga tobene kayi tuliya cakubinga.BSBBSB: If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9. 9SBYNsombi natulambeti toba bwipishi, Lesa washomeka kayi walulama, ngautulekelela bwipishi bwetu ne kutufunya ku bwipishi bulibonse.BSBBSB: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10. 10SBYNatulambeti tuliya bwipishi ekwambeti tulambangeti Lesa nimubepeshi kayi maswi akendi nkalipo mulinjafwe.BSBBSB: If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.
