BSB

Then Jesus said to them,
“Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God arrive with power.”
2
SHR
Erhi kugera nsiku ndarhu, Yezu ayanka Petro, Yakôbo na Yowane, abagendana bône oku ntondo ndîrî. Anacihinduka obusù embere zâbo.

SHR
Emyambalo yâge yanacilangashana, yâbà myêru myêru nka lubula, kulya ntâye en’igulu oshuka wankayiyêruhya ntyo.

His clothes became radiantly white, brighter than any launderer on earth could bleach them.
4
SHR
Eliya bo na Mûsa banacibabonekera, bakaz’ishambâla na Yezu.

BSB:
And Elijah and Moses appeared before them, talking with Jesus.
5

Obwo Petro anacibwîra Yezu, erhi: «Yâgirwa, kuli kwinjà rhubêre hano; rhuyûbakeho rhuyumpa rhusharhu: higuma hyâwe, ehindi hya Mûsa n’ehindi hya Eliya».
BSB
BSB:
Peter said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
6
SHR
Erhi arhacimayiri kurhi aderhage, bulya bâli barhunzirwe n’obwôba bunji.
BSB
BSB:
For they were all so terrified that Peter did not know what else to say.
7
SHR
Okubundi olwikungu lwayisha, lwababwîka, n’izù lyanacirhengamwo lulya lwikungu, erhi: «Oyu ye Mugala wâni muzigirwa, mumuyumve».
BSB
BSB:
Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud: “This is My beloved Son. Listen to Him!”
8
SHR
Ho na halya mpu bacilola eyi n’eyi, barhacibonaga ndi orhali Yezu yênene haguma nabo.
BSB
BSB:
Suddenly, when they looked around, they saw no one with them except Jesus.
9
SHR
Erhi bakola bayandagala oku ntondo, abakomêreza mpu barhabwîraga ndi ebi babwîne, kuhika Mwene omuntu afûke omu bafù.
BSB

As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus admonished them not to tell anyone what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
10
SHR
Bagwârha ako kanwa emurhima, ci bacîdôsa kwo kuderha kurhi: kuhika afûke omu bafù.
BSB
BSB:
So they kept this matter to themselves, discussing what it meant to rise from the dead.
11
SHR
Banacimudôsa, mpu: «Cirhuma Abafarizeyi n’abashamuka b’ihano bakaz’iderha mpu kukwânîne Eliya arhang’iyisha?»
BSB
BSB:
And they asked Jesus, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
12
SHR
Naye ababwîra, erhi: «Nêci Eliya ayish’iyisha, ayish’ikombêza byoshi! Ci kurhi Mwene-omuntu ayandikîrwe? Oku ayish’ibabala bwenêne n’okugayaguzwa.
BSB
BSB:
He replied,
“Elijah does indeed come first, and he restores all things. Why then is it written that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected?
13
SHR
Lekagi mmubwîre! Eliya mîra ayishaga; nabo bamujira oku balonzagya kwoshi, nk’oku anayandikîrwe».
BSB
BSB:
But I tell you that Elijah has indeed come, and they have done to him whatever they wished, just as it is written about him.”
14
SHR
Erhi bagaluka aha abaganda bâge bâli, bashimâna lubaga lunji lw’abantu lubazonzire, n’abashamuka b’ihano bâli kadali boshi.

When they returned to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them, and scribes arguing with them.
15
SHR
Erhi eyo ngabo y’abàntu ebona Yezu, yarhangâla, yayisha elibisire, yaj’imulamusa.
BSB
BSB:
As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were filled with awe and ran to greet Him.
16
SHR
Anacibadôsa, erhi: «Kadali kaci ako muli?»
BSB
BSB:
“What are you disputing with them?”
He asked.
17
SHR
Muntu muguma omu lubaga amushuza, erhi: «Nyamwagirwa, nakudwîrhîre mugala wâni olimwo shetani w’akaduma.
BSB
BSB:
Someone in the crowd replied, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a spirit that makes him mute.
18
SHR
Ngasi kumugwârha, anamurhimba oku idaho, omwâna anarhumba kafula, anakugurha amîno anagangabale. Nabwîzire abaganda bâwe nti bamukûlemwoye, barhanahashire».
BSB
BSB:
Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. I asked Your disciples to drive it out, but they were unable.”
19
SHR
Anacimushuza, amubwîra, erhi: «Eri iburha libula-buyêmêre, kuhika mangaci nayôrha ninyu? Kuhika mangaci nâmmulembere? Nderheragiye».
BSB
BSB:
“O unbelieving generation!”
Jesus replied.
“How long must I remain with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy to Me.”
20
SHR
Bamulêrha. Olya shetani erhi abona Yezu, azunguza bwenêne omwâna, amurhimba oku idaho. Omwâna agâyagâya anarhumba lufula.
BSB
BSB:
So they brought him, and seeing Jesus, the spirit immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth.
21
SHR
Yezu anacidôsa îshe, erhi: «Kurhenga mangaci agwârhagwa?» Naye ashuza, erhi: «Kurhenga eburhò.
BSB
BSB:
Jesus asked the boy’s father,

23
SHR
Yezu ashuza, erhi: «Mpu akabà ogwêrhe okuwankahasha!… Byoshi byanahashikana oku ogwêrhe obuyêmêre».
BSB
BSB:
“If You can?”
echoed Jesus.
“All things are possible to him who believes!”

SHR
Ho na halya olya îshe w’omwâna aderha n’izù linene, erhi: «Nyêmîre, Yâgirwa! Ontabâle nie mubula buyêmêre!»

BSB
BSB:
When Jesus saw that a crowd had come running, He rebuked the unclean spirit.
“You deaf and mute spirit,”
He said,
“I command you to come out and never enter him again.”
26
SHR
Anaciyâma, amuhindaganya bwenêne, amurhengamwo. Olya mwâna ayôrha nka mufù, ciru banji baderha mpu afîre.

27
SHR
Ci erhi Yezu acimugwârha okuboko, amuzûsa, ayîmanga.

29
SHR
Anacibashuza, erhi: «Shetani wa bene oyo arhalibirhwakwo n’ezirhali nsengero n’okucîshalisa».
BSB

30
SHR

32
SHR
Ci bôhe barhumvagya ako kanwa, banarhînya okumudôsa.
