2. 2SHRAkaz’ibabwîra, erhi: «Mucîyunjuze ebyâha, bulya Obwâmi bw’empingu buli hôfi».BSBBSB: and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
3. 3SHROyo Yowane ye omulêbi Izaya aderhaga, mpu: Ye izù ly’odwîrhe ayakûliza omu irungu: Rheganyi enjira ya Nyakasane, yumanyanyi bwinjà ah’agera.BSBBSB: This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: “A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for Him.’”

15. 15SHRYezu erhi amushuza, amubwîra, erhi: «Orhang’ireka, bulya kurhukwânîne rhuyunjuze ngasi bishingânîne». Okuhandi Yowane amuleka.BSBBSB: “Let it be so now,” Jesus replied. “It is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness in this way.” Then John permitted Him.
16. 16SHRErhi Yezu ayûs’ibatizibwa, arhenga omu lwîshi. Suddenly the heavens were opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and resting on Him.
