Therefore the people wander like sheep, oppressed for lack of a shepherd.
3. 3SHROburhè buli obunsiriza erhi balungere bàrhuma, nayisha erhi bihebe nyishîre. 4. 4SHRMuli ye mwârhenga abarhambo ba ngasi lubero, bazibuzibu nk’ibuye kaboko ka nyumpa, bantâdundwe nka nkwîra y’ihêma, badârhi nka muherho gwa bîrha. Bâkaz’igenda nka barhabâzi ntwâli bajè balabarhanya ababalwîsa nka bijondo by’omu njira.BSBBSB: The cornerstone will come from Judah, the tent peg from him, as well as the battle bow and every ruler together.
5. 5SHRBâyish’ilwa ntyo, bulya niono Nyakasane ndi haguma nabo. N’abashombanyi bashonyire oku biterusi enshonyi zâyish’ibabumba.BSBBSB: They will be like mighty men in battle, trampling the enemy in the mire of the streets. They will fight because the LORD is with them, and they will put the horsemen to shame.
6. 6SHRNâzibuhya olubaga lwa Yûda, nâlîkûza olubaga lw’Israheli. Nâbashubiza emwâbo nnambayêreke obuzigire bwâni, mbè nka kuno ntà mango nsag’ibakabulira. Niene Nyakasane Nyamuzinda wâbo nâyumvîrhiza omusengero gwâbo.BSBBSB: I will strengthen the house of Judah and save the house of Joseph. I will restore them because I have compassion on them, and they will be as though I had not rejected them. For I am the LORD their God, and I will answer them.
7. 7SHRAbantu b’omu Efrayimu bâcîyêrekana bazibu nka barhabâzi, ba nsha­gali nk’abanywîre oku mamvu. Abâna bâbo bayish’ikâlola n’amasù g’obusîme, n’omurhima gwâbo guyunjule mwishingo erhi Nyakasane orhumire.BSBBSB: Ephraim will be like a mighty man, and their hearts will be glad as with wine. Their children will see it and be joyful; their hearts will rejoice in the LORD.
8. 8SHRNahamagala olubaga lwâni nnandushubûze, bulya nahizire okulucungula. Bâshub’ibà banji nk’okwa burhanzi.BSBBSB: I will whistle for them to gather, for I have redeemed them; and they will be as numerous as they once were.
9. 9SHRNabashandâzize omu mashanja nka kula banamira emburho, cikwône bâkaz’inkengera mw’ebyo bihugo by’ihanga. Bâlama eyo munda baguma n’abâna bâbo, buzinda babuligaluka.BSBBSB: Though I sow them among the nations, they will remember Me in distant lands; they and their children will live and return.
10. 10SHRNiene nâbakula e Mîsiri n’omu Asûru, mbalêrhe emwâbo, mbaheke n’e Galadi n’e Libano, ciru n’eyo munda yâbè hafunda.BSBBSB: I will bring them back from Egypt and gather them from Assyria. I will bring them to Gilead and Lebanon until no more room is found for them.
11. 11SHRBâyikira enyanja y’e Mîsiri, niene Nyakasane nie nâtwa empimbi z’amîshi, ciru n’omuhengere gwa Nili gwâyumûka. Obucîbone bwa Asûru bwâmuhwêra, Mîsiri naye âheza obuhashe bwâge boshi.BSBBSB: They will pass through the sea of distress and strike the waves of the sea; all the depths of the Nile will dry up. The pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will depart.
12. 12SHRNâzibuhya olubaga lwâni, bâkaz’ishimba enjira zâni. Kwo Nyakasane adesire!BSBBSB: I will strengthen them in the LORD, and in His name they will walk,” declares the LORD.
