3 SLK nech vás Boh náš Otec, a Pán Ježiš Kristus obdarí pokojom a milosťou. BSB BSB: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,
4 SLK My sme zhrešili, ale on sa obetoval z nás, aby nás vytrhol z tohto skazeného sveta. Taká bola vôľa nášho Boha a Otca. BSB BSB: who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

7 SLK Veď žiadne iné evanjelium nie je, to len niektorí sa vás snažia zmiasť a chcú poprekrúcať Kristovo evanjelium. BSB BSB: which is not even a gospel. Evidently some people are troubling you and trying to distort the gospel of Christ.
9 SLK Hovorili sme o tom už skôr a teraz to opakujem: nech je prekliaty každý, kto hlása iné evanjelium, než to, ktoré ste prijali! BSB BSB: As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be under a curse!
10 SLK Usilujem sa teraz o priazeň u ľudí alebo u Boha? Snažím sa zapáčiť ľuďom? Ak by mi išlo o prijatie u ľudí, nebol by som Kristovým služobníkom. BSB BSB: Am I now seeking the approval of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
11 SLK Bratia, uisťujem vás, že dobrá správa, ktorú som vám zvestoval, nemá ľudský pôvod. BSB BSB: For I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached was not devised by man.
12 SLK Od žiadneho človeka som ju neprevzal, ani som sa o nej nenaučil. Zjavil mi ju Ježiš Kristus. BSB BSB: I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.
14 SLK Svojím židovstvom som prevyšoval všetkých vrstovníkov svojho ľudu – tak veľmi som horlil za tradície našich otcov. BSB BSB: I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
15 SLK Bohu si ma vybral už pred mojím narodením, povolal ma svojou milosťou BSB BSB: But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by His grace, was pleased
16 SLK a s potešením mi zjavil svojho Syna, aby som radostnú správu o ňom hlásal všetkým národom. Vtedy som sa neradil s ľuďmi, BSB BSB: to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not rush to consult with flesh and blood,
17 SLK ba ani som sa nešiel do Jeruzalema za tými, ktorí sa stali apoštolmi skôr ako ja. Odišiel som do Arábie, a potom som sa zase vrátil do Damasku. BSB BSB: nor did I go up to Jerusalem to the apostles who came before me, but I went into Arabia and later returned to Damascus.
20 SLK Boh mi je svedkom, že to, čo vám píšem, je pravda. BSB BSB: I assure you before God that what I am writing to you is no lie.
21 SLK Potom som putoval do Sýrie a Cilície, BSB BSB: Later I went to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

23 SLK Dopočuli sa len, že ich niekdajší prenasledovateľ teraz zvestuje evanjelium, ktoré sa kedysi snažil zničiť. BSB BSB: They only heard the account: “The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”
24 SLK A chválili za mňa Boha. BSB BSB: And they glorified God because of me.
