1. 1SPABLLMoisés cuidaba las ovejas de su suegro Jetro, el sacerdote de Madián. Un día llevó el rebaño más allá del desierto y llegó a Horeb, el monte de Dios.BSBBSB: Meanwhile, Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
2. 2SPABLLAllí se le apareció el ángel de Yahvé en una llama de fuego en medio de una zarza. Moisés miró y vio que la zarza ardía en llamas, pero no se consumía.BSBBSB: There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from within a bush. Moses saw the bush ablaze with fire, but it was not consumed.
3. 3SPABLLEntonces Moisés pensó: “Voy a acercarme para ver esta maravilla y descubrir por qué la zarza no se quema”.BSBBSB: So Moses thought, “I must go over and see this marvelous sight. Why is the bush not burning up?”
4. 4SPABLLCuando Yahvé vio que Moisés se acercaba para mirar, Dios lo llamó desde la zarza: “¡Moisés! ¡Moisés!” Y él respondió: “Aquí estoy”.BSBBSB: When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called out to him from within the bush, “Moses, Moses!” “Here I am,” he answered.

Moisés se cubrió el rostro porque tuvo miedo de mirar a Dios.BSBBSB: Then He said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.

8. 8SPABLLHe bajado para rescatarlos del poder de los egipcios y para sacarlos de ese país, a fin de llevarlos a una tierra buena y espaciosa, una tierra donde abundan la leche y la miel; es la tierra donde viven los cananeos, los hititas, los amorreos, los ferezeos, los heveos y los jebuseos.BSBBSB: I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.
9. 9SPABLLEl clamor de los hijos de Israel ha llegado hasta mí, y también he visto cómo los oprimen los egipcios.BSBBSB: And now the cry of the Israelites has reached Me, and I have seen how severely the Egyptians are oppressing them.

11. 11SPABLLPero Moisés le dijo a Dios: “¿Y quién soy yo para presentarme ante el faraón y sacar de Egipto a los hijos de Israel?”BSBBSB: But Moses asked God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”
12. 12SPABLLDios le contestó: “Yo estaré contigo. Y esta será la señal de que yo te he enviado: cuando hayas sacado de Egipto al pueblo, ustedes adorarán a Dios en este mismo monte.”BSBBSB: “I will surely be with you,” God said, “and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, all of you will worship God on this mountain.”
13. 13SPABLLMoisés le dijo a Dios: “Supongamos que me presento ante los hijos de Israel y les digo: El Dios de sus antepasados me ha enviado a ustedes. Si ellos me preguntan: ¿Cuál es su nombre?, ¿qué les voy a responder?”BSBBSB: Then Moses asked God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is His name?’ What should I tell them?”
14. 14SPABLLDios le contestó a Moisés: “YO SOY EL QUE SOY”. Y agregó: “A los hijos de Israel les dirás esto: YO SOY me ha enviado a ustedes”.BSBBSB: God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
15. 15SPABLLDios también le dijo a Moisés: “Diles a los hijos de Israel: Yahvé, el Dios de sus antepasados, el Dios de Abraham, el Dios de Isaac y el Dios de Jacob, me ha enviado a ustedes. Este es mi nombre para siempre; con este nombre seré recordado por todas las generaciones.BSBBSB: God also told Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.
16. 16SPABLLVe y reúne a los líderes de Israel, y diles: Yahvé, el Dios de sus antepasados, el Dios de Abraham, de Isaac y de Jacob, se me ha aparecido y me ha dicho: Ciertamente he venido a verlos y he visto lo que les están haciendo en Egipto.BSBBSB: Go, assemble the elders of Israel and say to them, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—has appeared to me and said: I have surely attended to you and have seen what has been done to you in Egypt.
17. 17SPABLLY he decidido sacarlos de la opresión de Egipto para llevarlos a la tierra de los cananeos, de los hititas, de los amorreos, de los ferezeos, de los heveos y de los jebuseos, a una tierra donde abundan la leche y la miel.BSBBSB: And I have promised to bring you up out of your affliction in Egypt, into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites—a land flowing with milk and honey.’
