Exodus 6 (SPABLL)

1Yahvé le respondió a Moisés: “Ahora vas a ver lo que le haré al faraón. Una mano poderosa lo obligará a dejarlos ir; es más, ¡esa misma mano poderosa hará que los eche de su país!”But the LORD said to Moses, “Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh, for because of My mighty hand he will let the people go; because of My strong hand he will drive them out of his land.”

2Dios habló con Moisés y le dijo: “Yo soy Yahvé.God also told Moses, “I am the LORD.

3Me aparecí a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob como Dios Todopoderoso, pero no me di a conocer a ellos por mi nombre: Yahvé.I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by My name the LORD I did not make Myself known to them.

4También establecí mi pacto con ellos, prometiendo darles la tierra de Canaán, la tierra donde vivieron como extranjeros.I also established My covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, the land where they lived as foreigners.

5Además, he escuchado los gemidos de los hijos de Israel, a quienes los egipcios tienen esclavizados, y me he acordado de mi pacto.Furthermore, I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, and I have remembered My covenant.

6Por lo tanto, diles a los hijos de Israel: ‘Yo soy Yahvé. Los sacaré de los duros trabajos de Egipto, los liberaré de su esclavitud y los rescataré con gran poder y con fuertes castigos.Therefore tell the Israelites: ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians and deliver you from their bondage. I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.

7Los tomaré como mi propio pueblo y yo seré su Dios. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé, su Dios, el que los saca de los duros trabajos de Egipto.I will take you as My own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.

8Los llevaré a la tierra que juré darles a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob, y se la daré como herencia. Yo soy Yahvé’”.And I will bring you into the land that I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will give it to you as a possession. I am the LORD!’”

9Moisés les comunicó todo esto a los hijos de Israel, pero ellos no le hicieron caso, porque estaban muy desanimados por culpa de la cruel esclavitud.Moses relayed this message to the Israelites, but on account of their broken spirit and cruel bondage, they did not listen to him.

10Entonces Yahvé le dijo a Moisés:So the LORD said to Moses,

11“Ve y dile al faraón, rey de Egipto, que deje salir de su país a los hijos de Israel.”“Go and tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the Israelites go out of his land.”

12Pero Moisés le contestó a Yahvé: “Si los hijos de Israel no me hacen caso, ¿cómo me va a escuchar el faraón, si soy tan torpe para hablar?”But in the LORD’s presence Moses replied, “If the Israelites will not listen to me, then why would Pharaoh listen to me, since I am unskilled in speech?”

13Sin embargo, Yahvé les habló a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dio órdenes estrictas para los hijos de Israel y para el faraón, rey de Egipto, con el fin de sacar a los israelitas del país.Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron and gave them a charge concerning both the Israelites and Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the Israelites out of the land of Egypt.

14Estos son los jefes de las familias patriarcales. Los hijos de Rubén, el primogénito de Israel, fueron: Hanoc, Falú, Hezrón y Carmí. Estas son las familias de Rubén.These were the heads of their fathers’ houses: The sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel, were Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi. These were the clans of Reuben.

15Los hijos de Simeón fueron: Jemuel, Jamín, Ohad, Jaquín, Zóhar y Saúl, hijo de una mujer cananea. Estas son las familias de Simeón.The sons of Simeon were Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul, the son of a Canaanite woman. These were the clans of Simeon.

16Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Leví, según sus descendientes: Gersón, Coat y Merari. Leví vivió ciento treinta y siete años.These were the names of the sons of Levi according to their records: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. Levi lived 137 years.

17Los hijos de Gersón fueron: Libní y Simeí, con sus respectivas familias.The sons of Gershon were Libni and Shimei, by their clans.

18Los hijos de Coat fueron: Amram, Izhar, Hebrón y Uziel. Coat vivió ciento treinta y tres años.The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. Kohath lived 133 years.

19Los hijos de Merari fueron: Mahlí y Musí. Estas son las familias de los levitas, según sus descendientes.The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. These were the clans of the Levites according to their records.

20Amram se casó con su tía Jocabed, y ella dio a luz a Aarón y a Moisés. Amram vivió ciento treinta y siete años.And Amram married his father’s sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses. Amram lived 137 years.

21Los hijos de Izhar fueron: Coré, Néfeg y Zicrí.The sons of Izhar were Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.

22Los hijos de Uziel fueron: Misael, Elzafán y Sitrí.The sons of Uzziel were Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri.

23Aarón se casó con Eliseba, hija de Aminadab y hermana de Naasón, y ella dio a luz a Nadab, a Abiú, a Eleazar y a Itamar.And Aaron married Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab and sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

24Los hijos de Coré fueron: Asir, Elcaná y Abiasaf. Estas son las familias de los coreítas.The sons of Korah were Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph. These were the clans of the Korahites.

25Eleazar, hijo de Aarón, se casó con una de las hijas de Putiel, y ella dio a luz a Finees. Estos son los jefes de las familias patriarcales de los levitas.Aaron’s son Eleazar married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas. These were the heads of the Levite families by their clans.

26Estos son los mismos Aarón y Moisés a quienes Yahvé les ordenó: “Saquen de Egipto a los hijos de Israel, ordenados por escuadrones.”It was this Aaron and Moses to whom the LORD said, “Bring the Israelites out of the land of Egypt by their divisions.”

27Ellos fueron los que hablaron con el faraón, rey de Egipto, para sacar de allí a los israelitas. Fueron Moisés y Aarón.Moses and Aaron were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt in order to bring the Israelites out of Egypt.

28El día que Yahvé le habló a Moisés en Egipto,Now on the day that the LORD spoke to Moses in Egypt,

29le dijo: “Yo soy Yahvé. Dile al faraón, rey de Egipto, todo lo que yo te diga”.He said to him, “I am the LORD; tell Pharaoh king of Egypt everything I say to you.”

30Pero Moisés le respondió a Yahvé: “Mira, a mí me cuesta mucho expresarme, ¿cómo me va a hacer caso el faraón?”But in the LORD’s presence Moses replied, “Since I am unskilled in speech, why would Pharaoh listen to me?”
