Micah 2 (SPABLL)

1¡Ay de los que hacen planes malvados y traman la maldad en sus camas! En cuanto amanece, la ponen en práctica, porque tienen el poder en sus manos.Woe to those who devise iniquity and plot evil on their beds! At morning’s light they accomplish it because the power is in their hands.

2Codician campos y se apoderan de ellos; quieren casas y se las quitan a sus dueños. Oprimen al hombre y a su familia, a las personas y a su patrimonio.They covet fields and seize them; they take away houses. They deprive a man of his home, a fellow man of his inheritance.

3Por eso, así dice Yahvé: “Miren, yo estoy planeando contra esta gente un castigo del que no podrán librar su cuello. Ya no caminarán con orgullo, porque vendrán tiempos muy malos.Therefore this is what the LORD says: “I am planning against this nation a disaster from which you cannot free your necks. Then you will not walk so proudly, for it will be a time of calamity.

4En aquel día la gente se burlará de ustedes; cantarán este triste lamento: ‘¡Estamos totalmente arruinados! El patrimonio de mi pueblo ha sido repartido. ¡Cómo nos lo quita! Entrega nuestros campos a los traidores’”.In that day they will take up a proverb against you and taunt you with this bitter lamentation: ‘We are utterly ruined! He has changed the portion of my people. How He has removed it from me! He has allotted our fields to traitors.’”

5Por eso, no habrá nadie que reparta tierras para ustedes en la asamblea de Yahvé.Therefore, you will have no one in the assembly of the LORD to divide the land by lot.

6“¡No nos vengan con profecías!” —dicen ellos. “No se debe profetizar sobre esas cosas; la desgracia no nos va a alcanzar”.“Do not preach,” they preach. “Do not preach these things; disgrace will not overtake us.”

7Ustedes, que se llaman casa de Jacob, ¿creen que el Espíritu de Yahvé ha perdido la paciencia? ¿Es así como él actúa? ¿Acaso mis palabras no benefician al que vive con rectitud?Should it be said, O house of Jacob, “Is the Spirit of the LORD impatient? Are these the things He does?” Do not My words bring good to him who walks uprightly?

8Pero hace poco mi pueblo se ha levantado como un enemigo; a los que pasan tranquilos, como los que vuelven de la guerra, ustedes les quitan la capa y el abrigo.But of late My people have risen up like an enemy: You strip off the splendid robe from unsuspecting passersby like men returning from battle.

9A las mujeres de mi pueblo las echan de sus casas queridas; a sus niños les quitan para siempre la bendición que yo les di.You drive the women of My people from their pleasant homes. You take away My blessing from their children forever.

10¡Levántense y váyanse! Este ya no es su lugar de descanso, porque la impureza de este lugar causa destrucción, ¡una destrucción terrible!Arise and depart, for this is not your place of rest, because its defilement brings destruction—a grievous destruction!

11Si un hombre mentiroso y falso les dijera: “Les voy a profetizar que habrá mucho vino y cerveza”, ¡ese sería el profeta ideal para este pueblo!If a man of wind were to come and say falsely, “I will preach to you of wine and strong drink,” he would be just the preacher for this people!

12“Ciertamente los reuniré a todos ustedes, Jacob; recogeré al resto de Israel. Los juntaré como ovejas en un corral, como un rebaño en medio de sus pastos; el lugar se llenará de gente”.I will surely gather all of you, O Jacob; I will collect the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in the midst of its pasture—a noisy throng.

13El que abre el camino irá delante de ellos; abrirán la brecha, pasarán por la puerta y saldrán por ella. Su rey pasará delante de ellos, con Yahvé a la cabeza.One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate, and go out by it. Their King will pass through before them, the LORD as their leader.
