1. 1SPABLLVolví a levantar la vista y vi un rollo que volaba.BSBBSB: Again I lifted up my eyes and saw before me a flying scroll.
2. 2SPABLLEl ángel me preguntó: “¿Qué ves?”. Yo respondí: “Veo un rollo volador, que mide nueve metros de largo por cuatro y medio de ancho”.BSBBSB: “What do you see?” asked the angel. “I see a flying scroll,” I replied, “twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.”
3. 3SPABLLEntonces me explicó: “Esta es la maldición que se extiende sobre toda la tierra. Según lo que dice un lado del rollo, todo el que robe será eliminado; y según el otro lado, todo el que jure en falso también será eliminado.BSBBSB: Then he told me, “This is the curse that is going out over the face of all the land, for according to one side of the scroll, every thief will be removed; and according to the other side, every perjurer will be removed.
4. 4SPABLLYo la he enviado — dice el Señor de los Ejércitos — y entrará en la casa del ladrón y en la casa del que jura en falso por mi nombre. Esa maldición se quedará dentro de sus casas y las destruirá por completo, junto con sus vigas y sus piedras”.BSBBSB: I will send it out, declares the LORD of Hosts, and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of him who swears falsely by My name. It will remain inside his house and destroy it, down to its timbers and stones.”
5. 5SPABLLEl ángel que hablaba conmigo se acercó y me dijo: “Levanta la vista y mira qué es eso que está apareciendo”.BSBBSB: Then the angel who was speaking with me came forward and told me, “Now lift up your eyes and see what is approaching.”
6. 6SPABLLYo pregunté: “¿Qué es eso?”. Él me contestó: “Es una canasta de un efa”. Y añadió: “Esta es la maldad de ellos en toda la tierra”.BSBBSB: “What is it?” I asked. And he replied, “A measuring basket is going forth.” Then he continued, “This is their iniquity in all the land.”
7. 7SPABLLEn eso, se levantó la tapa de plomo de la canasta, y vi que adentro de ella estaba sentada una mujer.BSBBSB: And behold, the cover of lead was raised, and there was a woman sitting inside the basket.
8. 8SPABLLEl ángel dijo: “Esta es la maldad”; entonces la empujó al fondo de la canasta y volvió a tapar la entrada con el pesado disco de plomo.BSBBSB: “This is Wickedness,” he said. And he shoved her down into the basket, pushing down the lead cover over its opening.
9. 9SPABLLLuego levanté la vista y vi a dos mujeres que aparecieron con el viento a su favor; tenían alas como de cigüeña y elevaron la canasta entre la tierra y el cielo.BSBBSB: Then I lifted up my eyes and saw two women approaching, with the wind in their wings. Their wings were like those of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between heaven and earth.
10. 10SPABLLLe pregunté al ángel que hablaba conmigo: “¿A dónde llevan la canasta?”.BSBBSB: “Where are they taking the basket?” I asked the angel who was speaking with me.
11. 11SPABLLÉl me respondió: “La llevan a la tierra de Babilonia para construirle un templo. Cuando esté terminado, pondrán la canasta allí, en su lugar”.BSBBSB: “To build a house for it in the land of Shinar,” he told me. “And when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its pedestal.”
