7 STF Ta niљta nismo donijeli na svijet te iz njega niљta ni iznijeti ne moћemo! BSB BSB: For we brought nothing into the world, so we cannot carry anything out of it.
8 STF Imamo li dakle hranu i odjecu, zadovoljimo se time. BSB BSB: But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these.
9 STF Jer oni koji se hoce bogatiti, upadaju u napast, zamku i mnoge nerazumne i љtetne poћude љto ljude strovaljuju u zator i propast. 10 STF Zaista, korijen svih zala jest srebroljublje; njemu odani, mnogi odlutaљe od vjere i sami sebe isprobadaљe mukama mnogima. BSB BSB: For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. By craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.
11 STF A ti se, Boћji covjece, toga kloni! Teћi za pravednoљcu, poboћnoљcu, vjerom, ljubavlju, postojanoљcu, krotkoљcu! BSB BSB: But you, O man of God, flee from these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
12 STF Bij dobar boj vjere, osvoji vjecni ћivot na koji si pozvan i radi kojega si dao ono lijepo svjedocanstvo pred mnogim svjedocima! BSB BSB: Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made the good confession before many witnesses.

16 STF koji jedini ima besmrtnost, prebiva u svjetlu nedostupnu, koga nitko od ljudi ne vidje niti ga vidjeti moћe. Njemu cast i vlast vjekovjecna! Amen. 18 STF neka dobro cine, neka se bogate dobrim djelima, neka budu dareћljivi, zajednicari- BSB BSB: Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, and to be generous and ready to share,
19 STF prikupljajuci sebi lijepu glavnicu za buducnost da osvoje onaj pravi ћivot. BSB BSB: treasuring up for themselves a firm foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.
20 STF Timoteju, poklad cuvaj kloneci se svjetovnoga praznoglasja i proturjecja nekog nazovispoznanja, BSB BSB: O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you. Avoid irreverent, empty chatter and the opposing arguments of so-called “knowledge,”
