2 STF Ovo jedno hoжe od vas da doznam: jeste li Duha primili kroz dela zakona ili kroz propoved o veri? BSB BSB: I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?
3 STF Tako li ste nerazumni? Poиeli ste Duhom, a sad mesom svrљujete? BSB BSB: Are you so foolish? After starting in the Spirit, are you now finishing in the flesh?
4 STF Zar ste sve to uzalud doћiveli? Ako je zaista uzalud bilo! BSB BSB: Have you suffered so much for nothing, if it really was for nothing?
5 STF Koji vam, dakle, daje Duha i иini иudesa meрu vama, (иini li to) zbog dela zakona ili zbog propovedi o veri? BSB BSB: Does God lavish His Spirit on you and work miracles among you because you practice the law, or because you hear and believe?
6 STF Kao љto Avram "poverova Bogu, i uraиuna mu se u pravednost". BSB BSB: So also, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
7 STF Vidite, dakle, da su sinovi Avramovi oni koji veruju. BSB BSB: Understand, then, that those who have faith are sons of Abraham.
8 STF A kako je pismo unapred videlo da Bog verom pravda neznaboљce, napred objavi Avramu: "U tebi жe se blagosloviti svi neznaboљci". BSB BSB: The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and foretold the gospel to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”
9 STF Tako se oni koji veruju, blagosiljaju s vernim Avramom. BSB BSB: So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.
10 STF Jer koji иine dela zakona, pod kletvom su, jer je napisano: "Proklet je svaki koji ne ostane u svemu љto je napisano u knjizi zakonskoj, da to иini". BSB BSB: All who rely on works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”
11 STF A da se zakonom niko ne opradava pred Bogom, jasno je, jer "pravednik жe od vere ћiveti". BSB BSB: Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the law, because, “The righteous will live by faith.”
12 STF A zakon nije od vere, nego "koji to tvori, ћiveжe kroz to". BSB BSB: The law, however, is not based on faith; on the contrary, “The man who does these things will live by them.”
14 STF da na neznaboљce blagoslov Avramov doрe u Isusu Hristu, da obeжanje Duha primimo kroz veru. BSB BSB: He redeemed us in order that the blessing promised to Abraham would come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
15 STF Braжo, ljudski govorim: Ni иoveиjega potvrрena testamenta ne moћe niko uniљtiti, niti mu љto dometnuti. BSB BSB: Brothers, let me put this in human terms. Even a human covenant, once it is ratified, cannot be canceled or amended.
16 STF A Avramu i semenu njegovu reиena biљe obeжanja. Ne veli: "i semenima", u mnoћini, nego u jednini: "i semenu tvome", a to je Hristos. BSB BSB: The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say, “and to seeds,” meaning many, but “and to your seed,” meaning One, who is Christ.
17 STF Mislim ovo: Testamenta љto ga je Bog pre potvrdio, ne uniљtava zakon koji je postao posle 430 godina, da ukine obeжanje. BSB BSB: What I mean is this: The law that came 430 years later does not revoke the covenant previously established by God, so as to nullify the promise.
18 STF Jer, ako je nasledstvo od zakona, onda veж nije od obeжanja: a Bog ga je Avramu obeжanjem darovao. BSB BSB: For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God freely granted it to Abraham through a promise.
19 STF Љta жe, dakle, zakon? Radi prestupa dodade se, dok ne doрe seme kome je obeжanje dano, postavili su ga anрeli, rukom posrednika. BSB BSB: Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the arrival of the seed to whom the promise referred. It was administered through angels by a mediator.
20 STF A posrednika nema gde je jedan, a Bog je jedan. BSB BSB: A mediator is unnecessary, however, for only one party; but God is one.
21 STF Pa je li zakon protivan obeжanjima Boћjim? Boћe saиuvaj! Jer (samo) da jedan zakon koji moћe oћiviti, bila bi pravednost zaista od zakona. BSB BSB: Is the law, then, opposed to the promises of God? Certainly not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come from the law.
22 STF Ali pismo zatvori sve pod greh, da bi se onima koji veruju, obeжanje dalo kroz veru u Isusa Hrista. BSB BSB: But the Scripture pronounces all things confined by sin, so that by faith in Jesus Christ the promise might be given to those who believe.

25 STF A poљto doрe vera, nismo viљe pod pedagogom. BSB BSB: Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.
26 STF Jer ste svi vi sinovi Boћji verom u Hrista Isusa: BSB BSB: You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
27 STF jer koji ste se god u Hrista krstili, u Hrista ste se obukli. BSB BSB: For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
29 STF A kad ste vi Hristovi, onda ste seme Avramovo i naslednici po obeжanju. BSB BSB: And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.
