1. 1SRPONSTLČujte reč Gospodnju, o, narode izrailjski, jer se Gospod parniči sa stanovnicima zemlje: „Nema istine, nema milosti i nema bogopoznanja u zemlji.BSBBSB: Hear the word of the LORD, O children of Israel, for the LORD has a case against the people of the land: “There is no truth, no loving devotion, and no knowledge of God in the land!
2. 2SRPONSTLProklinjanje i obmanjivanje, ubijanje, krađe i preljube su prokuljali, a krv se na krv proliva.BSBBSB: Cursing and lying, murder and stealing, and adultery are rampant; one act of bloodshed follows another.

5. 5SRPONSTLPosrnućeš danju ali će i prorok zajedno sa tobom da posrne noću. A i majku tvoju pogubiću!BSBBSB: You will stumble by day, and the prophet will stumble with you by night; so I will destroy your mother—
6. 6SRPONSTLPogibe moj narod jer nema znanja. Zato što si ti odbacio znanje i ja ću tebe da odbacim, da mi više ne budeš sveštenik. Zaboravio si Zakon Boga svoga, pa ću i ja da zaboravim decu tvoju.BSBBSB: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you as My priests. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.
7. 7SRPONSTLI što ih je više bilo, grešili su više protiv mene; sramotom ću da zamenim ja njihovu slavu.BSBBSB: The more they multiplied, the more they sinned against Me; they exchanged their Glory for a thing of disgrace.
8. 8SRPONSTLGrehom mog naroda se hrane, krivica njihova glad im razgaljuje.BSBBSB: They feed on the sins of My people and set their hearts on iniquity.
9. 9SRPONSTLNarodu će biti kao i sveštenicima; i ja ću da mu sudim, da uzvratim po njegovim putevima i po delima njegovim.BSBBSB: And it shall be like people, like priest. I will punish both of them for their ways and repay them for their deeds.
10. 10SRPONSTLJešće oni, ali siti neće biti; bludničili su, ali se neće umnožiti jer su Gospodu prestali da služe.BSBBSB: They will eat but not be satisfied; they will be promiscuous but not multiply. For they have abandoned the LORD to give themselves

12. 12SRPONSTLSa drvetom se svojim savetuje moj narod i štap mu njegov savet daje! Zaveden je duhom bludništva. Bludničili su i otpali od Boga.BSBBSB: My people consult their wooden idols, and their divining rods inform them. For a spirit of prostitution leads them astray and they have played the harlot against their God.
13. 13SRPONSTLŽrtvuju na vrh gora; kade po brdima i ispod hrasta, topole i bresta jer je tamo dobar hlad. A ćerke vam bludniče i snahe vam preljubu čine.BSBBSB: They sacrifice on the mountaintops and burn offerings on the hills, under oak, poplar, and terebinth, because their shade is pleasant. And so your daughters turn to prostitution and your daughters-in-law to adultery.
14. 14SRPONSTLAli neću da sudim vašim ćerkama jer bludniče i snahama vašim jer čine preljubu. Jer, sami se muškarci odvajaju sa bludnicama i žrtvuju sa hramskim bludnicama. A narod koji to ne shvata biće upropašćen.BSBBSB: I will not punish your daughters when they prostitute themselves, nor your daughters-in-law when they commit adultery. For the men themselves go off with prostitutes and offer sacrifices with shrine prostitutes. So a people without understanding will come to ruin.

Do not journey to Gilgal, do not go up to Beth-aven, and do not swear on oath, ‘As surely as the LORD lives!’
16. 16SRPONSTLKao jogunasta junica Izrailj je jogunast. Hoće li ih sada Gospod voditi kao jagnje na prostrano mesto?BSBBSB: For Israel is as obstinate as a stubborn heifer. Can the LORD now shepherd them like lambs in an open meadow?
