1. 1SRPONSTLSvi poreznici i grešnici su se okupljali oko Isusa da ga slušaju.BSBBSB: Now all the tax collectors and sinners were gathering around to listen to Jesus.
2. 2SRPONSTLFariseji i znalci Svetog pisma su gunđali i govorili: „Ovaj prihvata grešnike i jede sa njima.“BSBBSB: So the Pharisees and scribes began to grumble: “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”
3. 3SRPONSTLIsus im onda ispriča ovu priču:BSBBSB: Then Jesus told them this parable:
4. 4SRPONSTL„Ko od vas, ako ima stotinu ovaca, pa mu se izgubi jedna, neće ostaviti devedeset devet u pustinji, dok ne nađe tu jednu?BSBBSB: “What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the pasture and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it?
5. 5SRPONSTLKad je nađe, stavlja je na svoja ramena sa radošću.BSBBSB: And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders,
6. 6SRPONSTLA kada dođe kući, poziva prijatelje i susede, i kaže im: ’Radujte se sa mnom, jer sam našao svoju ovcu koja se izgubila.’BSBBSB: comes home, and calls together his friends and neighbors to tell them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost sheep!’
7. 7SRPONSTLKažem vam da će tako i na nebu biti veća radost zbog jednog grešnika koji se pokaje, nego zbog devedeset devet pravednika kojima nije potrebno pokajanje.“BSBBSB: I tell you that in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous ones who do not need to repent.
8. 8SRPONSTL„Ili, zamislite neku ženu koja ima deset srebrnih novčića, pa izgubi jedan. Neće li ona upaliti svetiljku i pomesti kuću, te pomno tražiti dok ga ne nađe?BSBBSB: Or what woman who has ten silver coins and loses one of them does not light a lamp, sweep her house, and search carefully until she finds it?
9. 9SRPONSTLA kada ga nađe, poziva prijatelje i susede, govoreći: ’Radujte se sa mnom, jer sam pronašla srebrni novčić koji sam izgubila!’BSBBSB: And when she finds it, she calls together her friends and neighbors to say, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost coin.’
10. 10SRPONSTLKažem vam da se anđeli raduju pred Bogom zbog jednog grešnika koji se pokaje.“BSBBSB: In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”
11. 11SRPONSTLIsus nastavi: „Neki čovek imao dva sina.BSBBSB: Then Jesus said, “There was a man who had two sons.
12. 12SRPONSTLJednom, mlađi sin reče ocu: ’Oče, daj mi moj deo imovine.’ Tako otac podeli imovinu između njih.BSBBSB: The younger son said to him, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.
13. 13SRPONSTLNekoliko dana kasnije, mlađi sin pokupi sve što ima i ode u daleku zemlju. Tamo je protraćio svoju imovinu na razvratan život.BSBBSB: After a few days, the younger son got everything together and journeyed to a distant country, where he squandered his wealth in wild living.
14. 14SRPONSTLA kada je potrošio sve, nastane velika glad u toj zemlji, i on počne da oskudeva.BSBBSB: After he had spent all he had, a severe famine swept through that country, and he began to be in need.
15. 15SRPONSTLOnda je otišao i pribio se uz jednog stanovnika te zemlje, koji ga je poslao na svoja polja da čuva svinje.BSBBSB: So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed the pigs.
16. 16SRPONSTLŽudeo je da napuni stomak roščićima koje su svinje jele, ali mu niko nije davao.BSBBSB: He longed to fill his belly with the pods the pigs were eating, but no one would give him a thing.
17. 17SRPONSTLNo, došavši k sebi, reče: ’Koliko je slugu kod mog oca koji imaju hleba u izobilju, a ja ovde skapavam od gladi!BSBBSB: Finally he came to his senses and said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have plenty of food, but here I am, starving to death!
18. 18SRPONSTLUstaću i poći k mome ocu, pa ću mu reći: „Oče, zgrešio sam i Bogu i tebi;BSBBSB: I will get up and go back to my father and say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.
19. 19SRPONSTLnisam više dostojan da se zovem tvojim sinom. Primi me kao jednog od tvojih slugu.“’BSBBSB: I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’
20. 20SRPONSTLTako je ustao i krenuo svome ocu. Ali, dok je još bio daleko, ugleda ga njegov otac i sažali se, pa potrča, zagrli ga i izljubi.BSBBSB: So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still in the distance, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.
21. 21SRPONSTLSin mu reče: ’Oče, zgrešio sam i Bogu i tebi. Nisam više dostojan da se zovem tvojim sinom.’BSBBSB: The son declared, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22. 22SRPONSTLAli otac naredi svojim slugama: ’Brzo donesite najbolju odeću i obucite mu je. Stavite mu prsten na ruku i obujte mu sandale na nogeBSBBSB: But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.
23. 23SRPONSTLI uhvatite ugojeno tele i zakoljite ga, da jedemo i da se radujemo!BSBBSB: Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let us feast and celebrate.
24. 24SRPONSTLJer je ovaj moj sin bio mrtav, ali je oživeo. Bio je izgubljen, ali je sada nađen.’ Onda počeše da proslavljaju.BSBBSB: For this son of mine was dead and is alive again! He was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate.
25. 25SRPONSTLNjegov stariji sin je bio na njivi. Kad je došao blizu kuće, čuo je da se svira i igra.BSBBSB: Meanwhile the older son was in the field, and as he approached the house, he heard music and dancing.
26. 26SRPONSTLPozvao je jednog slugu i upitao ga šta se to dešava.BSBBSB: So he called one of the servants and asked what was going on.
27. 27SRPONSTLSluga mu reče: ’Došao je tvoj brat, pa je tvoj otac zaklao ugojeno tele, jer mu se vratio kući živ i zdrav.’BSBBSB: ‘Your brother has returned,’ he said, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has him back safe and sound.’
28. 28SRPONSTLOn se rasrdio i nije hteo da uđe u kuću. Otac izađe iz kuće, pa ga je molio da uđe.BSBBSB: The older son became angry and refused to go in. So his father came out and pleaded with him.
29. 29SRPONSTLAli on odgovori ocu: ’Evo, toliko godina ti služim i nikada nisam prekršio nijednu tvoju zapovest, a nikad mi nisi dao jare da se proveselim sa svojim prijateljima.BSBBSB: But he answered his father, ‘Look, all these years I have served you and never disobeyed a commandment of yours. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends.
30. 30SRPONSTLAli kada je došao ovaj tvoj sin koji je proćerdao tvoje imanje sa bludnicama, zaklao si ugojeno tele za njega.’BSBBSB: But when this son of yours returns from squandering your wealth with prostitutes, you kill the fattened calf for him!’
31. 31SRPONSTL’Sine moj – reče mu otac – ti si uvek sa mnom, i sve što je moje, to je i tvoje.BSBBSB: ‘Son, you are always with me,’ the father said, ‘and all that is mine is yours.
32. 32SRPONSTLAli treba da budemo veseli i da se radujemo, jer je ovaj tvoj brat bio mrtav, ali je oživeo; bio je izgubljen, ali je nađen.’“BSBBSB: But it was fitting to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”
