1. 1SV17Men HERREN sade till Mose: »Nu skall du få se vad jag skall göra med Farao; ty genom min starka hand skall han nödgas släppa dem, ja, han skall genom min starka hand nödgas driva dem ut ur sitt land.»BSBBSB: But the LORD said to Moses, “Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh, for because of My mighty hand he will let the people go; because of My strong hand he will drive them out of his land.”
2. 2SV17Och Gud talade till Mose och sade till honom: »Jag är HERREN.BSBBSB: God also told Moses, “I am the LORD.
3. 3SV17För Abraham, Isak och Jakob uppenbarade jag mig såsom 'Gud den Allsmäktige', men under mitt namn 'HERREN' var jag icke känd av dem.BSBBSB: I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by My name the LORD I did not make Myself known to them.
4. 4SV17Och jag upprättade ett förbund med dem och lovade att giva dem Kanaans land, det land där de bodde såsom främlingar.BSBBSB: I also established My covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, the land where they lived as foreigners.
5. 5SV17Och nu har jag hört Israels barns jämmer över att egyptierna hålla dem i träldom, och jag har kommit ihåg mitt förbund.BSBBSB: Furthermore, I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, and I have remembered My covenant.
6. 6SV17Säg därför till Israels barn: 'Jag är HERREN, och jag skall föra eder ut från trälarbetet hos egyptierna och rädda eder från träldomen under dem, och jag skall förlossa eder med uträckt arm och genom stora straffdomar.BSBBSB: Therefore tell the Israelites: ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians and deliver you from their bondage. I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.
7. 7SV17Och jag skall taga eder till mitt folk och vara eder Gud; och I skolen förnimma att jag är HERREN eder Gud, han som för eder ut från trälarbetet hos egyptierna.BSBBSB: I will take you as My own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.
8. 8SV17Och jag skall föra eder till det land som jag med upplyft hand har lovat giva åt Abraham, Isak och Jakob; det skall jag giva eder till besittning. Jag är HERREN.'»BSBBSB: And I will bring you into the land that I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will give it to you as a possession. I am the LORD!’”
9. 9SV17Detta allt sade Mose till Israels barn, men de hörde icke på Mose, av otålighet och för det hårda arbetets skull.BSBBSB: Moses relayed this message to the Israelites, but on account of their broken spirit and cruel bondage, they did not listen to him.
10. 10SV17Därefter talade HERREN till Mose och sade:BSBBSB: So the LORD said to Moses,
11. 11SV17»Gå och tala med Farao, konungen i Egypten, att han släpper Israels barn ut ur sitt land.»BSBBSB: “Go and tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the Israelites go out of his land.”
12. 12SV17Men Mose talade inför HERREN och sade: »Israels barn höra ju icke på mig; huru skulle då Farao vilja höra mig -- mig som har oomskurna läppar?»BSBBSB: But in the LORD’s presence Moses replied, “If the Israelites will not listen to me, then why would Pharaoh listen to me, since I am unskilled in speech?”
13. 13SV17Men HERREN talade till Mose och Aron och gav dem befallning till Israels barn och till Farao, konungen i Egypten, om att Israels barn skulle föras ut ur Egyptens land.BSBBSB: Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron and gave them a charge concerning both the Israelites and Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the Israelites out of the land of Egypt.
14. 14SV17Dessa voro huvudmännen för deras familjer. Rubens, Israels förstföddes, söner voro Hanok och Pallu, Hesron och Karmi. Dessa voro Rubens släkter.BSBBSB: These were the heads of their fathers’ houses: The sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel, were Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi. These were the clans of Reuben.
15. 15SV17Simeons söner voro Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jakin, Sohar och Saul, den kananeiska kvinnans son. Dessa voro Simeons släkter.BSBBSB: The sons of Simeon were Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul, the son of a Canaanite woman. These were the clans of Simeon.
16. 16SV17Och dessa voro namnen på Levis söner, efter deras ättföljd: Gerson, Kehat och Merari. Och Levi blev ett hundra trettiosju år gammal.BSBBSB: These were the names of the sons of Levi according to their records: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. Levi lived 137 years.
17. 17SV17Gersons söner voro Libni och Simei, efter deras släkter.BSBBSB: The sons of Gershon were Libni and Shimei, by their clans.
18. 18SV17Kehats söner voro Amram, Jishar, Hebron och Ussiel. Och Kehat blev ett hundra trettiotre år gammal.BSBBSB: The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. Kohath lived 133 years.
19. 19SV17Meraris söner voro Maheli och Musi. Dessa voro leviternas släkter, efter deras ättföljd.BSBBSB: The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. These were the clans of the Levites according to their records.
20. 20SV17Men Amram tog sin faders syster Jokebed till hustru, och hon födde åt honom Aron och Mose. Och Amram blev ett hundra trettiosju år gammal.BSBBSB: And Amram married his father’s sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses. Amram lived 137 years.
21. 21SV17Jishars söner voro Kora, Nefeg och Sikri.BSBBSB: The sons of Izhar were Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.
22. 22SV17Ussiels söner voro Misael, Elsafan och Sitri.BSBBSB: The sons of Uzziel were Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri.
23. 23SV17Och Aron tog till hustru Eliseba, Amminadabs dotter, Nahesons syster, och hon födde åt honom Nadab och Abihu, Eleasar och Itamar.BSBBSB: And Aaron married Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab and sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
24. 24SV17Koras söner voro Assir, Elkana och Abiasaf. Dessa voro koraiternas släkter.BSBBSB: The sons of Korah were Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph. These were the clans of the Korahites.
25. 25SV17Och Eleasar, Arons son, tog en av Putiels döttrar till hustru, och hon födde åt honom Pinehas. Dessa voro huvudmännen för leviternas familjer, efter deras släkter.BSBBSB: Aaron’s son Eleazar married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas. These were the heads of the Levite families by their clans.
26. 26SV17Så förhöll det sig med Aron och Mose, dem till vilka HERREN sade: »Fören Israels barn ut ur Egyptens land, efter deras härskaror.BSBBSB: It was this Aaron and Moses to whom the LORD said, “Bring the Israelites out of the land of Egypt by their divisions.”
27. 27SV17Det var dessa som talade med Farao, konungen i Egypten, om att de skulle föra Israels barn ut ur Egypten. Så förhöll det sig med Mose och Aron,BSBBSB: Moses and Aaron were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt in order to bring the Israelites out of Egypt.

29. 29SV17talade han så till Mose: »Jag är HERREN. Tala till Farao, konungen i Egypten, allt vad jag talar till dig.»BSBBSB: He said to him, “I am the LORD; tell Pharaoh king of Egypt everything I say to you.”
30. 30SV17Men Mose sade inför HERREN: »Se, jag har oomskurna läppar; huru skulle då Farao vilja höra på mig?»BSBBSB: But in the LORD’s presence Moses replied, “Since I am unskilled in speech, why would Pharaoh listen to me?”
