5Och när de hade kommit in i graven, fingo de se en ung man sitta där på högra sidan, klädd i en vit fotsid klädnad; och de blevo förskräckta.When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

6Men han sade till dem: »Varen icke förskräckta. I söken Jesus från Nasaret, den korsfäste. Han är uppstånden, han är icke här. Se där är platsen där de lade honom.But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here! See the place where they put Him.

7Men gån bort och sägen till hans lärjungar, och särskilt till Petrus: 'Han skall före eder gå till Galileen; där skolen I få se honom, såsom han bar sagt eder.'»But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him, just as He told you.’”

8Då gingo de ut och flydde bort ifrån graven, ty bävan och bestörtning hade kommit över dem. Och i sin fruktan sade de intet till någon.So the women left the tomb and ran away, trembling and bewildered. And in their fear they did not say a word to anyone.

9[Men efter sin uppståndelse visade han sig på första veckodagens morgon först för Maria från Magdala, ur vilken han hade drivit ut sju onda andar.Early on the first day of the week, after Jesus had risen, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had driven out seven demons.

10Hon gick då och omtalade det för dem som hade följt med honom, och som nu sörjde och gräto.She went and told those who had been with Him, who were mourning and weeping.

11Men när dessa hörde sägas att han levde och hade blivit sedd av henne, trodde de det icke.And when they heard that Jesus was alive and she had seen Him, they did not believe it.

12Därefter uppenbarade han sig i en annan skepnad för två av dem, medan de voro stadda på vandring utåt landsbygden.After this, Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them as they walked along in the country.

13Också dessa gingo bort och omtalade det för de andra; men icke heller dem trodde man.And they went back and reported it to the rest, but they did not believe them either.

14Sedan uppenbarade han sig också för de elva, när de lågo till bords; och han förebrådde dem då deras otro och deras hjärtans hårdhet, i det att de icke hade trott dem som hade sett honom vara uppstånden.Later, as they were eating, Jesus appeared to the Eleven and rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

15Och han sade till dem: »Gån ut i hela världen och prediken evangelium för allt skapat.And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

16Den som tror och bliver döpt, han skall bliva frälst; men den som icke tror, han skall bliva fördömd.Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

17Och dessa tecken skola åtfölja dem som tro: genom mitt namn skola de driva ut onda andar, de skola tala nya tungomål,And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

18ormar skola de taga i händerna, och om de dricka något dödande gift, så skall det alls icke skada dem; på sjuka skola de lägga händerna, och de skola då bliva friska.»they will pick up snakes with their hands, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will be made well.”

19Därefter, sedan Herren Jesus hade talat med dem, blev han upptagen i himmelen och satte sig på Guds högra sida.After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

20Men de gingo ut och predikade allestädes.
