1. 1NMM“Katika siku hizo na wakati huo, nitakaporejesha neema ya Yuda na Yerusalemu,BSBBSB: “Yes, in those days and at that time, when I restore Judah and Jerusalem from captivity,
2. 2NMMnitayakusanya mataifa yote na kuyaleta katika Bonde la Yehoshafati. Hapo nitaingia kwenye hukumu dhidi yao kuhusu urithi wangu, watu wangu Israeli, kwa kuwa waliwatawanya watu wangu miongoni mwa mataifa na kuigawa nchi yangu.BSBBSB: I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning My people, My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations as they divided up My land.
3. 3NMMWaliwapigia kura watu wangu na kuwauza wavulana ili kupata makahaba; waliwauza wasichana ili wapate kunywa mvinyo.BSBBSB: They cast lots for My people; they bartered a boy for a prostitute and sold a girl for wine to drink.
4. 4NMM“Sasa una nini dhidi yangu, ee Tiro na Sidoni, nanyi nchi zote za Ufilisti? Je, mnanilipiza kwa yale niliyoyafanya? Kama mnalipa, mimi nitalipiza juu ya vichwa vyenu kwa kasi na kwa haraka yale mliyoyatenda.BSBBSB: Now what do you have against Me, O Tyre, Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Are you rendering against Me a recompense? If you retaliate against Me, I will swiftly and speedily return your recompense upon your heads.
5. 5NMMKwa kuwa mlichukua fedha na dhahabu yangu pia mkabeba hazina zangu nzuri sana mkapeleka kwenye mahekalu yenu.BSBBSB: For you took My silver and gold and carried off My finest treasures to your temples.
6. 6NMMMliwauza watu wa Yuda na Yerusalemu kwa Wayunani, ili mpate kuwapeleka mbali na nchi yao.BSBBSB: You sold the people of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks, to send them far from their homeland.
7. 7NMM“Tazama nitawaamsha kutoka zile sehemu mlizowauza, nami nitawalipiza juu ya vichwa vyenu kile mlichofanya.BSBBSB: Behold, I will rouse them from the places to which you sold them; I will return your recompense upon your heads.
8. 8NMMNitawauza wana wenu wa kiume na wa kike kwa watu wa Yuda, nao watawauza kwa Waseba, taifa lililo mbali.” Mwenyezi Mungu amesema.BSBBSB: I will sell your sons and daughters into the hands of the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans—to a distant nation.” Indeed, the LORD has spoken.
9. 9NMMTangazeni hili miongoni mwa mataifa: Jiandaeni kwa vita! Amsha mashujaa! Wapiganaji wote wasogee karibu na kushambulia.BSBBSB: Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war; rouse the mighty men; let all the men of war advance and attack!
10. 10NMMMajembe yenu yafueni yawe panga, na miundu yenu ya kukatia iwe mikuki. Aliye dhaifu na aseme, “Mimi nina nguvu!”BSBBSB: Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong!’
11. 11NMMNjooni haraka, ninyi mataifa yote kutoka pande zote, kusanyikeni huko. Shusha mashujaa wako, Ee Mwenyezi Mungu!BSBBSB: Come quickly, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves. Bring down Your mighty ones, O LORD.
12. 12NMM“Mataifa na yaamshwe; na yasonge mbele kuelekea Bonde la Yehoshafati, kwa kuwa nitaketi mahali pale kuhukumu mataifa yote yaliyo kila upande.BSBBSB: Let the nations be roused and advance to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there I will sit down to judge all the nations on every side.
13. 13NMMTia mundu, kwa kuwa mavuno yamekomaa. Njooni, mkanyage zabibu, kwa kuwa shinikizo la kukamulia zabibu limejaa na mapipa yanafurika: kwa kuwa uovu wao ni mkubwa!”BSBBSB: Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, trample the grapes, for the winepress is full; the wine vats overflow because their wickedness is great.
14. 14NMMUmati mkubwa, umati mkubwa katika bonde la uamuzi! Kwa kuwa siku ya Mwenyezi Mungu ni karibu katika bonde la uamuzi.BSBBSB: Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the Day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
15. 15NMMJua na mwezi vitatiwa giza, na nyota hazitatoa mwanga wake tena.BSBBSB: The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will no longer shine.
16. 16NMMMwenyezi Mungu atanguruma kutoka Sayuni na mshindo wa ngurumo kutoka Yerusalemu; dunia na mbingu vitatikisika. Lakini Mwenyezi Mungu atakuwa kimbilio la watu wake, ngome imara kwa ajili ya watu wa Israeli.BSBBSB: The LORD will roar from Zion and raise His voice from Jerusalem; heaven and earth will tremble. But the LORD will be a refuge for His people, a stronghold for the people of Israel.
17. 17NMM“Ndipo mtajua kuwa Mimi, Mwenyezi Mungu, Mungu wenu, nakaa Sayuni, mlima wangu mtakatifu. Yerusalemu utakuwa mtakatifu; kamwe wageni hawatauvamia tena.BSBBSB: Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who dwells in Zion, My holy mountain. Jerusalem will be holy, never again to be overrun by foreigners.
18. 18NMM“Katika siku hiyo milima itadondosha divai mpya, na vilima vitatiririka maziwa; mabonde yote ya Yuda yatatiririka maji. Chemchemi itatiririka kutoka nyumba ya Mwenyezi Mungu na kunywesha Bonde la Shitimu.BSBBSB: And in that day the mountains will drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with milk. All the streams of Judah will run with water, and a spring will flow from the house of the LORD to water the Valley of Acacias.
19. 19NMMLakini Misri itakuwa ukiwa, Edomu itakuwa jangwa tupu, kwa sababu ya jeuri waliofanya kwa watu wa Yuda, ambao katika nchi yao walimwaga damu isiyo na hatia.BSBBSB: Egypt will become desolate, and Edom a desert wasteland, because of the violence done to the people of Judah, in whose land they shed innocent blood.
