1 Chronicles 15 (ULB)

3அப்படியே கர்த்தருடைய பெட்டிக்குத் தான் ஆயத்தப்படுத்தின அதின் இடத்திற்கு அதைக் கொண்டுவரும்படி, தாவீது இஸ்ரவேலையெல்லாம் எருசலேமிலே கூடிவரச்செய்தான்.And David assembled all Israel in Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the LORD to the place he had prepared for it.

4ஆரோனின் சந்ததிகளையும்,Then he gathered together the descendants of Aaron and the Levites:

5லேவியர்களாகிய கோகாத் சந்ததியில் பிரபுவாகிய ஊரியேலையும், அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களாகிய நூற்றிருபதுபேர்களையும்,From the Kohathites, Uriel the chief and 120 of his relatives;

6மெராரியின் சந்ததியில் பிரபுவாகிய அசாயாவையும், அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களாகிய இருநூற்றிருபதுபேரையும்,from the Merarites, Asaiah the chief and 220 of his relatives;

7கெர்சோன் மகன்களில் பிரபுவாகிய யோவேலையும், அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களாகிய நூற்றுமுப்பதுபேர்களையும்,from the Gershomites, Joel the chief and 130 of his relatives;

8எலிசாப்பான் மகன்களில் பிரபுவாகிய செமாயாவையும், அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களாகிய இருநூறுபேர்களையும்,from the Elizaphanites, Shemaiah the chief and 200 of his relatives;

9எப்ரோன் சந்ததியில் பிரபுவாகிய எலியேலையும், அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களாகிய எண்பதுபேர்களையும்,from the Hebronites, Eliel the chief and 80 of his relatives;

10ஊசியேல் சந்ததியில் பிரபுவாகிய அம்மினதாபையும், அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களாகிய நூற்றுப்பன்னிரெண்டு பேர்களையும் தாவீது கூடிவரச்செய்தான்.and from the Uzzielites, Amminadab the chief and 112 of his relatives.

11பின்பு தாவீது ஆசாரியர்களாகிய சாதோக்கையும், அபியத்தாரையும், லேவியர்களாகிய ஊரியேல், அசாயா, யோவேல், செமாயா, எலியேல், அம்மினதாப் என்பவர்களையும் அழைத்து,David summoned the priests Zadok and Abiathar and the Levites Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab.

12அவர்களை நோக்கி: லேவியர்களில் நீங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய சந்ததிகளின் தலைவர்கள், நீங்கள் இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் பெட்டியை அதற்கு நான் ஆயத்தம்செய்த இடத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவரும்படி, உங்களையும் உங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களையும் பரிசுத்தம்செய்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.And he said to them, “You are the heads of the Levitical families. You and your relatives must consecrate yourselves so that you may bring the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it.

13முதலில் நீங்கள் அதை சுமக்காததாலும், நாம் நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நியாயமானபடி தேடாமற்போனதாலும், அவர் நமக்குள்ளே அடிவிழச்செய்தார் என்றான்.It was because you Levites were not with us the first time that the LORD our God burst forth in anger against us. For we did not consult Him about the proper order.”

14ஆசாரியர்களும் லேவியர்களும் இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் பெட்டியைக் கொண்டுவரத் தங்களைச் சுத்தம்செய்துகொண்டார்கள்.So the priests and Levites consecrated themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel.

15பின்பு லேவியர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே, மோசே கற்பித்தபடி தேவனுடைய பெட்டியை அதின் தண்டுகளினால் தங்கள் தோள்மேல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.And the Levites carried the ark of God on their shoulders with the poles, as Moses had commanded in accordance with the word of the LORD.

16தாவீது லேவியர்களின் பிரபுக்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் உங்கள் சகோதரர்களாகிய பாடகர்களைத் தம்புரு சுரமண்டலம் கைத்தாளம் முதலிய கீதவாத்தியங்கள் முழங்க, தங்கள் சத்தத்தை உயர்த்தி, சந்தோஷம் உண்டாகப் பாடும்படி நிறுத்தவேண்டும் என்று சொன்னான்.David also told the leaders of the Levites to appoint their relatives as singers to lift up their voices with joy, accompanied by musical instruments—harps, lyres, and cymbals.

17அப்படியே லேவியர்கள் யோவேலின் மகனாகிய ஏமானையும், அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களில் பெரகியாவின் மகனாகிய ஆசாப்பையும், மெராரியின் சந்ததியான தங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களில் குஷாயாவின் மகனாகிய ஏத்தானையும்,So the Levites appointed Heman son of Joel; from his brothers, Asaph son of Berechiah; from their brothers the Merarites, Ethan son of Kushaiah;

18இவர்களோடு இரண்டாவது வரிசையாகத் தங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களாகிய சகரியா, பேன், யாசியேல், செமிரமோத், யெகியேல், உன்னி, எலியாப், பெனாயா, மாசெயா, மத்தித்தியா, எலிப்பெலேகு, மிக்னேயா, ஓபேத்ஏதோம், ஏயெல் என்னும் வாசல் காவலாளர்களையும் நிறுத்தினார்கள்.and with them their brothers next in rank: Zechariah, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, and the gatekeepers Obed-edom and Jeiel.

19பாடகர்களாகிய ஏமானும், ஆசாப்பும், ஏத்தானும், வெண்கல தொனியுள்ள கைத்தாளங்களை ஒலிக்கச்செய்து பாடினார்கள்.The musicians Heman, Asaph, and Ethan were to sound the bronze cymbals.

20சகரியா, ஆசியேல், செமிரமோத், யெகியேல், உன்னி, எலியாப், மாசெயா, பெனாயா என்பவர்கள் அல்மோத் என்னும் இசையில் பாடி, தம்புருகளை வாசித்தார்கள்.Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah were to play the harps according to Alamoth.

21மத்தித்தியா, எலிப்பெலேகு, மிக்னேயா, ஓபேத்ஏதோம், ஏயெல், அசசியா என்பவர்கள் செமனீத் என்னும் இசையில் பாடி, சுரமண்டலங்களை நேர்த்தியாக வாசித்தார்கள்.And Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah were to lead the music with lyres according to Sheminith.

22லேவியர்களுக்குள்ளே கெனானியா என்பவன் சங்கீதத்தலைவனாக இருந்தான்; அவன் நிபுணனானபடியால், கீதவித்தையை நடத்தினான்.Chenaniah the head Levite was the director of the music because he was highly skilled.

23பெரகியாவும் எல்க்கானாவும் பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாகக் காவல்காத்துவந்தார்கள்.Berechiah and Elkanah were to be guardians of the ark.

24செபனியா, யோசபாத், நெதனெயேல், அமாசாயி, சகரியா, பெனாயா, எலியேசர் என்னும் ஆசாரியர்கள் தேவனுடைய பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாகப் பூரிகைகளை ஊதினார்கள்; ஓபேத்ஏதோமும், எகியாவும் பெட்டிக்கு வாசல் காவலாளிகளாக இருந்தார்கள்.Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer—the priests—were to blow the trumpets before the ark of God. Obed-edom and Jehiah were also to be guardians of the ark.

25இப்படி தாவீதும், இஸ்ரவேலின் மூப்பர்களும், ஆயிரம்பேர்களின் தலைவர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியை ஓபேத்ஏதோமின் வீட்டிலிருந்து மகிழ்ச்சியோடு கொண்டுவரச்செய்தார்கள்.So David, the elders of Israel, and the commanders of thousands went with rejoicing to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the house of Obed-edom.

26கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியைச் சுமக்கிற லேவியர்களுக்கு தேவன் தயவு செய்ததால், அவர்கள் ஏழு காளைகளையும் ஏழு ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களையும் பலியிட்டார்கள்.And because God helped the Levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the LORD, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.

27தாவீதும், பெட்டியை சுமக்கிற எல்லா லேவியர்களும், பாடகர்களும், பாடகர்களின் வேலையை விசாரிக்கிற தலைவனாகிய கெனானியாவும், மெல்லிய புடவையான சால்வைகளை அணிந்திருந்தார்கள்; தாவீது சணல்நூல் ஏபோத்தை அணிந்திருந்தான்.Now David was dressed in a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who were carrying the ark, as well as the singers and Chenaniah, the director of music for the singers. David also wore a linen ephod.

28அப்படியே இஸ்ரவேலனைத்தும் கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியைக் கெம்பீரத்தோடும், எக்காளங்கள் பூரிகைகள் கைத்தாளங்களின் சத்தத்தோடும், தம்புருகளையும் சுரமண்டலங்களையும் வாசிக்கிற சத்தத்தோடும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, with the sounding of rams’ horns and trumpets, and with cymbals and the music of harps and lyres.

29கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப்பெட்டி, தாவீதின் நகரம்வரை வந்தபோது, சவுலின் மகளாகிய மீகாள் பலகணி வழியாகப் பார்த்து, தாவீது ராஜா ஆடிப்பாடி வருகிறதைக் கண்டு, அவனைத் தன்னுடைய இருதயத்தில் அவமதித்தாள்.As the ark of the covenant of the LORD was entering the City of David, Saul’s daughter Michal looked down from a window and saw King David dancing and celebrating, and she despised him in her heart.
