There were 24,000 men in each division:

2முதலாவது மாதத்துக்கு முதல் வகுப்பின்மேல் சப்தியேலின் மகன் யஷொபெயாம் இருந்தான்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநான்காயிரம்பேர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.Jashobeam son of Zabdiel was in charge of the first division, which was assigned the first month. There were 24,000 men in his division.

3அவன் பேரேசின் சந்ததியார்களில் சகல தளபதிகளின் தலைவனாக இருந்து முதல் மாதம் விசாரித்தான்.He was a descendant of Perez and chief of all the army commanders for the first month.

4இரண்டாவது மாதத்தின் வகுப்பின்மேல் அகோகியனான தோதாயி இருந்தான்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பிலே மிக்லோத் தகுதியில் இரண்டாவதாக இருந்தான்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பிலே இருபத்துநான்காயிரம்பேர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.Dodai the Ahohite was in charge of the division for the second month, and Mikloth was the leader. There were 24,000 men in his division.

5மூன்றாவது மாதத்தின் மூன்றாம் தளபதி யோய்தாவின் மகனாகிய பெனாயா என்னும் ஆசாரியனும் தலைவனுமானவன்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநான்காயிரம்பேர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.The third army commander, as chief for the third month, was Benaiah son of Jehoiada the priest. There were 24,000 men in his division.

6இந்தப் பெனாயா அந்த முப்பது பலசாலிகளில் ஒருவனும் அந்த முப்பது பேர்களின் தலைவனுமாக இருந்தான்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பை அவனுடைய மகனாகிய அமிசபாத் விசாரித்தான்.This Benaiah was mighty among the Thirty and was over the Thirty, and his son Ammizabad was in charge of his division.

There were 24,000 men in his division.

8ஐந்தாவது மாதத்தின் ஐந்தாம் தளபதி இஸ்ராகியனான சம்கூத் என்பவன்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநான்காயிரம்பேர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.The fifth, for the fifth month, was the commander Shamhuth the Izrahite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

9ஆறாவது மாதத்தின் ஆறாம் தளபதி இக்கேசின் மகன் ஈரா என்னும் தெக்கோவியன்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநான்காயிரம்பேர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.The sixth, for the sixth month, was Ira son of Ikkesh the Tekoite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

10ஏழாவது மாதத்தின் ஏழாம் தளபதி எப்பிராயீம் மகன்களில் ஒருவனாகிய ஏலேஸ் என்னும் பெலோனியன்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநான்காயிரம்பேர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.The seventh, for the seventh month, was Helez the Pelonite, an Ephraimite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

11எட்டாவது மாதத்தின் எட்டாம் தளபதி சாரியர்களில் ஒருவனாகிய சிபெக்காயி என்னும் ஊஷாத்தியன்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநான்காயிரம்பேர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.The eighth, for the eighth month, was Sibbecai the Hushathite, a Zerahite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

12ஒன்பதாவது மாதத்தின் ஒன்பதாம் தளபதி பென்யமீனர்களில் அபியேசர் என்னும் ஆனதோத்தான்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநான்காயிரம்பேர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.The ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer the Anathothite, a Benjamite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

13பத்தாவது மாதத்தின் பத்தாம் தளபதி சாரியர்களில் ஒருவனாகிய மக்ராயி என்னும் நெத்தோபாத்தியன்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநான்காயிரம்பேர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.The tenth, for the tenth month, was Maharai the Netophathite, a Zerahite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

14பதினோராவது மாதத்தின் பதினோராம் தளபதி எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்தில் பெனாயா என்னும் பிரத்தோனியன்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பில் இருபத்துநான்காயிரம்பேர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.The eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Benaiah the Pirathonite, an Ephraimite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

15பன்னிரண்டாவது மாதத்தின் பன்னிரண்டாம் தளபதி ஒத்னியேல் சந்ததியான எல்தாயி என்னும் நெத்தோபாத்தியன்; அவனுடைய வகுப்பில் இருபத்து நான்காயிரம்பேர்கள் இருந்தார்கள்.The twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Heldai the Netophathite, from the family of Othniel. There were 24,000 men in his division.

16இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களுக்குத் தலைவர்கள்: ரூபன் கோத்திரத்திற்குத் தலைவன் சிக்ரியின் மகன் எலியேசர்; சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்திற்கு மாக்காவின் மகன் செப்பத்தியா.These officers were in charge of the tribes of Israel: Over the Reubenites was Eliezer son of Zichri; over the Simeonites was Shephatiah son of Maacah;

17லேவி கோத்திரத்திற்கு கேமுவேலின் மகன் அஷாபியா; ஆரோன் சந்ததிக்கு சாதோக்.over Levi was Hashabiah son of Kemuel; over Aaron was Zadok;

18யூதா கோத்திரத்திற்கு தாவீதின் சகோதரர்களில் ஒருவனாகிய எலிகூ; இசக்காருக்கு மிகாவேலின் மகன் ஒம்ரி.over Judah was Elihu, one of David’s brothers; over Issachar was Omri son of Michael;

19செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்திற்கு ஒப்தியாவின் மகன் இஸ்மாயா: நப்தலி கோத்திரத்திற்கு அஸ்ரியேலின் மகன் எரிமோத்.over Zebulun was Ishmaiah son of Obadiah; over Naphtali was Jerimoth son of Azriel;

20எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்திற்கு அசசியாவின் மகன் ஓசெயா; மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரத்திற்கு பெதாயாவின் மகன் யோவேல்.over the Ephraimites was Hoshea son of Azaziah; over one of the half-tribes of Manasseh was Joel son of Pedaiah;

21கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரத்திற்கு சகரியாவின் மகன் இத்தோ; பென்யமீனுக்கு அப்னேரின் மகன் யாசியேல்.over the half-tribe of Manasseh in Gilead was Iddo son of Zechariah; over Benjamin was Jaasiel son of Abner;

22தாண் கோத்திரத்திற்கு எரோகாமின் மகன் அசாரியேல்; இவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்களுக்குத் தலைவர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.and over Dan was Azarel son of Jeroham. These were the leaders of the tribes of Israel.

23இஸ்ரவேலை வானத்தின் நட்சத்திரங்கள்போல பெருகச்செய்வேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லியிருந்ததால், தாவீது இருபது வயதுமுதல் அதற்குக் கீழுள்ளவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கையைக் கணக்கெடுக்கவில்லை.David did not count the men aged twenty or under, because the LORD had said that He would make Israel as numerous as the stars of the sky.

For because of this census wrath came upon Israel, and the number was not entered in the Book of the Chronicles of King David.

25ராஜாவுடைய பொக்கிஷங்களின்மேல் ஆதியேலின் மகன் அஸ்மாவேத்தும், பட்டணங்களிலும் கிராமங்களிலும் பாதுகாப்பான கோபுரங்களிலும் நிலத்தின் வருமான கருவூலங்களின்மேல் உசியாவின் மகன் யோனத்தானும்,Azmaveth son of Adiel was in charge of the royal storehouses. Jonathan son of Uzziah was in charge of the storehouses in the country, in the cities, in the villages, and in the fortresses.

26நிலத்தைப் பயிரிட வயல்வெளியின் வேலை செய்கிறவர்களின்மேல் கேலூப்பின் மகன் எஸ்ரியும்,Ezri son of Chelub was in charge of the workers in the fields who tilled the soil.

27திராட்சத்தோட்டங்களின்மேல் ராமாத்தியனான சீமேயும், திராட்சத்தோட்டங்களின் பலனாகிய திராட்சரசம் வைக்கும் இடங்களின்மேல் சிப்மியனாகிய சப்தியும்,Shimei the Ramathite was in charge of the vineyards. Zabdi the Shiphmite was in charge of the produce of the vineyards for the wine vats.

28பள்ளத்தாக்குகளிலுள்ள ஒலிவமரங்களின்மேலும் முசுக்கட்டை மரங்களின்மேலும் கெதேரியனான பால்கானானும், எண்ணெய் கிடங்குகளின்மேல் யோவாசும்,Baal-hanan the Gederite was in charge of the olive and sycamore trees in the foothills. Joash was in charge of the stores of olive oil.

29சாரோனில் மேய்கிற மாடுகளின்மேல் சாரோனியனான சித்ராயும், பள்ளத்தாக்குகளிலுள்ள மாடுகளின்மேல் அத்லாயின் மகன் சாப்பாத்தும்,Shitrai the Sharonite was in charge of the herds grazing in Sharon. Shaphat son of Adlai was in charge of the herds in the valleys.

30ஒட்டகங்களின்மேல் இஸ்மவேலியனாகிய ஓபிலும், கழுதைகளின்மேல் மெரோனோத்தியனாகிய எகெதியாவும்,Obil the Ishmaelite was in charge of the camels. Jehdeiah the Meronothite was in charge of the donkeys.

31ஆடுகளின்மேல் ஆகாரியனான யாசிசும் விசாரிப்புக்காரர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்; இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் தாவீது ராஜாவின் பொருள்களுக்கு விசாரிப்புக்காரர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.Jaziz the Hagrite was in charge of the flocks. All these officials were in charge of King David’s property.

32தாவீதின் சிறிய தகப்பனாகிய யோனத்தான் என்னும் புத்தியும் படிப்புமுள்ள மனிதன் ஆலோசனைக்காரனாக இருந்தான்; அக்மோனியின் மகன் யெகியேல் ராஜாவின் மகன்களோடு இருந்தான்.David’s uncle Jonathan was a counselor; he was a man of insight and a scribe. Jehiel son of Hachmoni attended to the sons of the king.

33அகித்தோப்பேல் ராஜாவுக்கு ஆலோசனைக்காரனாக இருந்தான்; அர்கியனான ஊஷாயி ராஜாவின் தோழனாயிருந்தான்.Ahithophel was the king’s counselor. Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend.

34பெனாயாவின் மகன் யோய்தாவும் அபியத்தாரும் அகித்தோப்பேலுக்கு உதவியாக இருந்தார்கள்; யோவாப் ராஜாவின் படைத்தலைவனாக இருந்தான்.Ahithophel was succeeded by Jehoiada son of Benaiah, then by Abiathar. Joab was the commander of the king’s army.
