18 ULB நீ கர்த்தருடைய சொல் கேட்காமலும், அமலேக்கின்மேல் அவருக்கு இருந்த கோபத்தின் உக்கிரத்தைத் தீர்க்காமலும் போனபடியால், கர்த்தர் இன்றையதினம் உனக்கு இப்படிச் செய்தார். BSB BSB: Because you did not obey the LORD or carry out His burning anger against Amalek, the LORD has done this to you today.
19 ULB கர்த்தர் உன்னையும், உன்னுடைய மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேலர்களையும் பெலிஸ்தர்கள் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பார்; நாளைக்கு நீயும் உன்னுடைய மகன்களும் என்னோடு இருப்பீர்கள்; இஸ்ரவேலின் முகாமையும் கர்த்தர் பெலிஸ்தர்களின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பார் என்றான். BSB BSB: Moreover, the LORD will deliver Israel with you into the hand of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons will be with me. And the LORD will deliver the army of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.”
20 ULB அதை கேட்டவுடனே சவுல் தரையிலே விழுந்து, சாமுவேலின் வார்த்தைகளினாலே மிகவும் பயப்பட்டான்; அவன் அன்று பகல் முழுவதும் ஒன்றும் சாப்பிடாமல் இருந்தபடியால், அவன் பெலவீனமாக இருந்தான். BSB BSB: Immediately Saul fell flat on the ground, terrified by the words of Samuel. And his strength was gone, because he had not eaten anything all that day and night.
