3 ULB தம்முடைய மகிமையினாலும் காருணியத்தினாலும் நம்மை அழைத்தவரை அறிகிற அறிவினாலே ஜீவனுக்கும் தேவபக்திக்கும் வேண்டிய எல்லாவற்றையும், அவருடைய தெய்வீக வல்லமையானது நமக்குத் தந்தருளினது மட்டுமல்லாமல், BSB BSB: His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

14 ULB நான் மரிக்கும்வரைக்கும் உங்களை ஞாபகப்படுத்தி எழுப்பிவிடுவது நியாயம் என்று நினைக்கிறேன். BSB BSB: because I know that this tent will soon be laid aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

18 ULB அவரோடு நாங்கள் பரிசுத்த பர்வதத்தில் இருக்கும்போது, வானத்திலிருந்து பிறந்த அந்தச் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டோம். BSB BSB: And we ourselves heard this voice from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
19 ULB அதிக உறுதியான தீர்க்கதரிசன வசனமும் நமக்கு உண்டு; பொழுதுவிடிந்து விடிவெள்ளி உங்களுடைய இருதயங்களில் உதிக்கும்வரைக்கும் இருள் உள்ள இடத்தில் பிரகாசிக்கிற விளக்கைப்போன்ற அந்த வசனத்தைக் கவனித்திருப்பது நலமாக இருக்கும். BSB BSB: We also have the word of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
20 ULB வேதத்தில் உள்ள எந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசனமும் தீர்க்கதரிசியினுடைய சொந்த விளக்கமாக இருக்காது என்று நீங்கள் முதலில் அறியவேண்டும். BSB BSB: Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from one’s own interpretation.
21 ULB தீர்க்கதரிசனமானது ஒருகாலத்திலும் மனிதர்களுடைய விருப்பத்தினாலே உண்டாகவில்லை; தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்த மனிதர்கள் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவராலே ஏவப்பட்டுப் பேசினார்கள். BSB BSB: For no such prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
