2 Samuel 22 (ULB)

1கர்த்தர் தாவீதை அவனுடைய எல்லா எதிரிகளின் கைக்கும், சவுலின் கைக்கும், விலக்கி விடுவித்தபோது, அவன் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாகப் பாடின பாட்டு:And David sang this song to the LORD on the day the LORD had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.

2கர்த்தர் என்னுடைய கன்மலையும், என்னுடைய கோட்டையும், என்னுடைய இரட்சகரும் ஆனவர்.He said: “The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer.

3தேவன் நான் நம்பியிருக்கிற கன்மலையும், என்னுடைய கேடகமும், என்னுடைய பாதுகாப்பின் கொம்பும், என்னுடைய உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமும், என்னுடைய இருப்பிடமும், என்னுடைய இரட்சகருமானவர்; என்னைத் துன்பத்திற்கு விலக்கி இரட்சிக்கிறவர் அவரே.My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation. My stronghold, my refuge, and my Savior, You save me from violence.

4துதிக்குக் காரணரான கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவேன்; அதனால் என்னுடைய எதிரிகளுக்கு விலக்கி இரட்சிக்கப்படுவேன்.I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.

5மரண அலைகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டு, பயனற்ற வெள்ளப்பெருக்கு என்னைப் பயப்படுத்தினது.For the waves of death engulfed me; the torrents of chaos overwhelmed me.

6பாதாளக் கட்டுகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்து கொண்டது; மரணக்கண்ணிகள் என்மேல் விழுந்தது.The cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me.

7எனக்கு உண்டான நெருக்கத்திலே கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டு, என்னுடைய தேவனை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன்; தமது ஆலயத்திலிருந்து என்னுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார்; என்னுடைய கூப்பிடுதல் அவர் செவிகளில் விழுந்தது.In my distress I called upon the LORD; I cried out to my God. And from His temple He heard my voice, and my cry for help reached His ears.

8அப்பொழுது பூமி அசைந்து அதிர்ந்தது; அவர் கோபங்கொண்டதால் வானத்தின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் குலுங்கி அசைந்தது.Then the earth shook and quaked; the foundations of the heavens trembled; they were shaken because He burned with anger.

9அவர் நாசியிலிருந்து புகை வந்தது, அவர் வாயிலிருந்து ஒளிவீசும் அக்கினி புறப்பட்டது, அதனால் தீப்பற்றிக்கொண்டது.Smoke rose from His nostrils, and consuming fire came from His mouth; glowing coals blazed forth.

10வானங்களைத் தாழ்த்தி இறங்கினார்; அவர் பாதங்களின்கீழ் காரிருள் இருந்தது.He parted the heavens and came down with dark clouds beneath His feet.

11கேருபீனின்மேல் ஏறி வேகமாகப் பறந்து சென்றார். காற்றின் இறக்கைகளின்மேல் காட்சியளித்தார்.He mounted a cherub and flew; He soared on the wings of the wind.

12வானத்து மேகங்களில் கூடிய தண்ணீர்களின் இருளைத் தம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கும் கூடாரமாக்கினார்.He made darkness a canopy around Him, a gathering of water and thick clouds.

13அவருக்கு முன்பாக இருந்த மின்னலினால் நெருப்புத்தழலும் எரிந்தது.From the brightness of His presence coals of fire blazed forth.

14கர்த்தர் வானத்திலிருந்து இடியைப்போல முழங்கி, உன்னதமானவர் தமது சத்தத்தைத் தொனிக்கச் செய்தார்.The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.

15அவர் அம்புகளை எய்து, அவர்களைச் சிதறடித்து, மின்னல்களை உபயோகித்து, அவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார்.He shot His arrows and scattered the foes; He hurled lightning and routed them.

16கர்த்தருடைய கடிந்துகொள்ளுதலினாலும், அவருடைய நாசியின் சுவாசக் காற்றினாலும் சமுத்திரத்தின் மதகுகள் திறக்கப்பட்டு, பூமியின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் காணப்பட்டது.The channels of the sea appeared, and the foundations of the world were exposed at the rebuke of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of His nostrils.

17உயரத்திலிருந்து அவர் கை நீட்டி, என்னைப் பிடித்து, வெள்ளப்பெருக்கில் இருக்கிற என்னைத் தூக்கிவிட்டார்.He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters.

18என்னைவிட பெலவானாக இருந்த என்னுடைய எதிரிக்கும் என்னுடைய விரோதிகளுக்கும் என்னை விடுவித்தார்.He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from foes too mighty for me.

19என்னுடைய ஆபத்து நாளிலே எனக்கு எதிராக வந்தார்கள்; கர்த்தரோ எனக்கு ஆதரவாக இருந்தார்.They confronted me in my day of calamity, but the LORD was my support.

20என்மேல் அவர் பிரியமாக இருந்தபடியால், விசாலமான இடத்திலே என்னைக் கொண்டுவந்து, என்னைத் தப்புவித்தார்.He brought me out into the open; He rescued me because He delighted in me.

21கர்த்தர் என்னுடைய நீதிக்குத்தகுந்தபடி எனக்கு பதில் அளித்தார்; என்னுடைய கைகளின் சுத்தத்திற்குத்தகுந்தபடி எனக்குச் சரிக்கட்டினார்.The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness; He has repaid me according to the cleanness of my hands.

22கர்த்தருடைய வழிகளைக் காத்துக்கொண்டுவந்தேன்; நான் என்னுடைய தேவனுக்குத் துரோகம் செய்ததில்லை.For I have kept the ways of the LORD and have not wickedly departed from my God.

23அவருடைய நியாயங்களையெல்லாம் எனக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தினேன்; நான் அவருடைய கட்டளைகளைவிட்டு விலகாமல்,For all His ordinances are before me; I have not disregarded His statutes.

24அவருக்கு முன்பாக மனஉண்மையாக இருந்து, பாவத்திற்கு என்னை விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்.And I have been blameless before Him and kept myself from iniquity.

25ஆகையால் கர்த்தர் என்னுடைய நீதிக்குத் தகுந்தபடியும், தம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிற என்னுடைய சுத்தத்திற்குத்தகுந்தபடியும் எனக்கு பலனளித்தார்.So the LORD has repaid me according to my righteousness, according to my cleanness in His sight.

26தயவுள்ளவனுக்கு நீர் தயவுள்ளவராகவும், உத்தமனுக்கு நீர் உத்தமராகவும்,To the faithful You show Yourself faithful, to the blameless You show Yourself blameless;

27புனிதனுக்கு நீர் புனிதராகவும், மாறுபாடு உள்ளவர்களுக்கு நீர் மாறுபடுகிறவராகவும் தோன்றுவீர்.to the pure You show Yourself pure, but to the crooked You show Yourself shrewd.

28சிறுமைப்பட்ட மக்களை இரட்சிப்பீர்; பெருமையுள்ளவர்களைத் தாழ்த்த, உம்முடைய கண்கள் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாகத் திருப்பப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.You save an afflicted people, but Your eyes are on the haughty to bring them down.

29கர்த்தராகிய தேவரீர் என்னுடைய விளக்காக இருக்கிறீர்; கர்த்தர் என்னுடைய இருளை வெளிச்சமாக்குகிறவர்.For You, O LORD, are my lamp; the LORD lights up my darkness.

30உம்மாலே நான் ஒரு சேனைக்குள் பாய்ந்துபோவேன்; என்னுடைய தேவனாலே ஒரு மதிலைத் தாண்டுவேன்.For in You I can charge an army; with my God I can scale a wall.

31தேவனுடைய வழி உத்தமமானது; கர்த்தருடைய வசனம் சுத்தமானது; தம்மை நம்புகிற அனைவருக்கும் அவர் கேடகமாக இருக்கிறார்.As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

32கர்த்தரைத் தவிர தேவன் யார்? நம்முடைய தேவனையன்றி கன்மலையும் யார்?For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God?

33தேவன் எனக்குப் பெலத்த அரணானவர்; அவர் என்னுடைய வழியைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துகிறவர்.God is my strong fortress, and He makes my way clear.

34அவர் என்னுடைய கால்களை மான்களுடைய கால்களைப்போல மாற்றி, உயர்ந்த மலைகளில் என்னை நிறுத்துகிறார்.He makes my feet like those of a deer and stations me upon the heights.

35வெண்கல வில்லும் என்னுடைய கரங்களால் வளையும்படி, என்னுடைய கைகளை யுத்தத்திற்குப் பழக்குகிறார்.He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

36உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பின் கேடகத்தையும் எனக்குத் தந்தீர்; உம்முடைய தயவு என்னைப் பெரியவனாக்கும்.You have given me Your shield of salvation, and Your gentleness exalts me.

37என்னுடைய கால்கள் வழுக்காதபடி நான் நடக்கிற வழியை அகலமாக்கினீர்.You broaden the path beneath me so that my ankles do not give way.

38என்னுடைய எதிரிகளைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து அவர்களை அழிப்பேன்; அவர்களை அழிக்கும்வரையும் திரும்பமாட்டேன்.I pursued my enemies and destroyed them; I did not turn back until they were consumed.

39அவர்கள் எழுந்திருக்கமுடியாதபடி என்னுடைய பாதங்களின்கீழ் விழுந்தார்கள்; அவர்களை முறியடித்து வெட்டினேன்.I devoured and crushed them so they could not rise; they have fallen under my feet.

40யுத்தத்திற்கு நீர் என்னை பெலத்தால் இடைகட்டி, என்மேல் எழும்பினவர்களை என்கீழ் விழும்படிச் செய்தீர்.You have armed me with strength for battle; You have subdued my foes beneath me.

41நான் என்னுடைய விரோதியை அழிக்கும்படி, என்னுடைய எதிரிகளின் பின்கழுத்தை எனக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தீர்.You have made my enemies retreat before me; I destroyed those who hated me.

42அவர்கள் நோக்கிப் பார்க்கிறார்கள், அவர்களை இரட்சிப்பவர்கள் ஒருவருமில்லை; கர்த்தரை நோக்கிப் பார்க்கிறார்கள், அவர்களுக்கு அவர் பதில் கொடுக்கிறதில்லை.They looked, but there was no one to save them—to the LORD, but He did not answer.

43அவர்களை பூமியின் தூளாக இடித்து, தெருக்களின் சேற்றைப்போல அவர்களை மிதித்து சிதறச்செய்கிறேன்.I ground them as the dust of the earth; I crushed and trampled them like mud in the streets.

44என்னுடைய மக்களின் சண்டைகளுக்கு நீர் என்னை விலக்கிவிட்டு, தேசங்களுக்கு என்னைத் தலைவனாக வைக்கிறீர்; நான் அறியாத மக்கள் என்னைப் பணிகிறார்கள்.You have delivered me from the strife of my people; You have preserved me as the head of nations; a people I had not known shall serve me.

45அந்நியர்கள் எனக்கு எதிராகப் பேசி அடங்கி, என்னுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டவுடனே எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறார்கள்.Foreigners cower before me; when they hear me, they obey me.

46அந்நியர்கள் பயந்துபோய், தங்கள் கோட்டைகளிலிருந்து பயத்தோடு புறப்படுகிறார்கள்.Foreigners lose heart and come trembling from their strongholds.

47கர்த்தர் ஜீவனுள்ளவர்; என்னுடைய கன்மலையானவர் ஸ்தோத்தரிக்கப்படுவாராக; என்னுடைய இரட்சிப்பின் கன்மலையான தேவன் உயர்ந்திருப்பாராக.The LORD lives, and blessed be my Rock! And may God, the Rock of my salvation, be exalted—

48அவர் எனக்காகப் பழிக்குப் பழி வாங்கி, மக்களை எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்துகிற தேவனானவர்.the God who avenges me and brings down nations beneath me,

49அவரே என்னுடைய எதிரிகளுக்கு என்னை விலக்கி விடுவிக்கிறவர்; எனக்கு விரோதமாக எழும்புகிறவர்கள்மேல் என்னை உயர்த்திக் கொடுமையான மனிதனுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவிக்கிறீர்.who frees me from my enemies. You exalt me above my foes; You rescue me from violent men.

50இதனால் கர்த்தாவே, தேசங்களுக்குள் உம்மைத் துதித்து, உம்முடைய நாமத்திற்கு துதிப் பாடல்கள் பாடுவேன்.Therefore I will praise You, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing praises to Your name.

51தாம் ஏற்படுத்தின ராஜாவுக்கு மகத்தான இரட்சிப்பை அளித்து, தாம் அபிஷேகம்செய்த தாவீதுக்கும் அவனுடைய சந்ததிக்கும் என்றென்றும் கிருபை செய்கிறார்.Great salvation He brings to His king. He shows loving devotion to His anointed, to David and his descendants forever.”
