1 ULB யூதரல்லாதவர்களும் தேவவசனத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்களென்று யூதேயாவிலிருக்கிற அப்போஸ்தலர்களும் சகோதரர்களும் கேள்விப்பட்டார்கள். BSB BSB: The apostles and brothers throughout Judea soon heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.

7 ULB அப்பொழுது: பேதுருவே, எழுந்திரு, அடித்து சாப்பிடு! என்று சொல்லுகிற சத்தத்தையும் கேட்டேன். BSB BSB: Then I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Get up, Peter, kill and eat.’
8 ULB அதற்கு நான்: ஆண்டவரே, அப்படியல்ல, தீட்டும் அசுத்தமுமாக இருக்கிற எதுவும் எப்போதும் என் வாய்க்குள்ளே போனதில்லை என்றேன். BSB BSB: ‘No, Lord,’ I said, ‘for nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’
9 ULB இரண்டாவதுமுறையும் வானத்திலிருந்து சத்தம் உண்டாகி: தேவன் சுத்தமாக்கினவைகளை நீ தீட்டாக நினைக்கவேண்டாம் என்று சொல்லியது. BSB BSB: But the voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.’
10 ULB இப்படி மூன்றுமுறை நடந்தபின்பு, எல்லாம் வானத்திற்குத் திரும்ப எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. BSB BSB: This happened three times, and everything was drawn back up into heaven.
11 ULB உடனே செசரியாவிலிருந்து என்னிடத்திற்கு அனுப்பப்பட்ட மூன்று மனிதர்கள் நான் தங்கியிருந்த வீட்டிற்குமுன்னே வந்துநின்றார்கள். BSB BSB: Just then three men sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying.
12 ULB நான் ஒன்றுக்கும் சந்தேகப்படாமல் அவர்களோடு போகும்படி ஆவியானவர் எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார். சகோதரர்களாகிய இந்த ஆறுபேரும் என்னோடு வந்தார்கள்; அந்த மனிதனுடைய வீட்டிற்குள் நுழைந்தோம். BSB BSB: The Spirit told me to accompany them without hesitation. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s home.
14 ULB நீயும் உன் குடும்பத்தாரும் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவதற்கான வார்த்தைகளை அவன் உனக்குச் சொல்லுவான் என்று அந்தத் தூதன் தனக்குச் சொன்னதாகவும் எங்களுக்கு சொன்னான். BSB BSB: He will convey to you a message by which you and all your household will be saved.’
15 ULB நான் பேசத்தொடங்கினபோது, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் ஆரம்பத்திலே நம்மேல் இறங்கினதுபோலவே, அவர்கள்மேலும் இறங்கினார். BSB BSB: As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, just as He had fallen upon us at the beginning.
16 ULB யோவான் தண்ணீரினால் ஞானஸ்நானம் கொடுத்தான், நீங்களோ பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவராலே ஞானஸ்நானம் பெறுவீர்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொன்ன வார்த்தையை அப்பொழுது நினைத்துப்பார்த்தேன். BSB BSB: Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
17 ULB எனவே கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசித்திருக்கிற நமக்கு தேவன் வரத்தை கொடுத்ததுபோல அவர்களுக்கும் அந்த வரத்தையே கொடுத்திருக்கும்போது தேவனைத் தடுக்கிறதற்கு நான் யார்? என்றான். BSB BSB: So if God gave them the same gift He gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to hinder the work of God?”
18 ULB இவைகளை அவர்கள் கேட்டபொழுது உட்கார்ந்திருந்து: அப்படியானால் ஜீவனுக்கேதுவான மனந்திரும்புதலை தேவன் யூதரல்லாதவர்களுக்கும் கொடுத்தார் என்று சொல்லி, தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார்கள். BSB BSB: When they heard this, they had no further objections, and they glorified God, saying, “So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life.”
19 ULB ஸ்தேவானுடைய மரணத்தினால் வந்த உபத்திரவத்தினாலே சிதறப்பட்டவர்கள் நற்செய்தி வசனத்தை யூதர்களுக்குமட்டும் அறிவித்து மற்றவர்களுக்கு அறிவிக்காமல், பெனிக்கே நாடு, சீப்புரு தீவு, அந்தியோகியா பட்டணம்வரைக்கும் சுற்றித்திரிந்தார்கள். BSB BSB: Meanwhile those scattered by the persecution that began with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the message only to Jews.
21 ULB கர்த்தருடைய கரம் அவர்களோடு இருந்தது; அநேக மக்கள் விசுவாசித்து, கர்த்தரிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள். BSB BSB: The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.
22 ULB எருசலேமிலுள்ள சபைமக்கள் இந்தக் காரியங்களைக்குறித்துக் கேள்விப்பட்டபோது, அந்தியோகியாவரைக்கும் போகும்படி பர்னபாவை அனுப்பினார்கள். BSB BSB: When news of this reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, they sent Barnabas to Antioch.
23 ULB அவன் போய்ச்சேர்ந்து, தேவனுடைய கிருபையைப் பார்த்தபோது, சந்தோஷப்பட்டு, கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மனஉறுதியாக நிலைத்திருக்கும்படி எல்லோருக்கும் புத்திசொன்னான். BSB BSB: When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to abide in the Lord with all their hearts.
24 ULB அவன் நல்லவனும், பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவராலும் விசுவாசத்தினாலும் நிறைந்தவனுமாக இருந்தான்; அநேக மக்கள் கர்த்தரிடம் சேர்க்கப்பட்டார்கள். BSB BSB: Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.
25 ULB பின்பு பர்னபா சவுலைத் தேடும்படி, தர்சுவிற்குப் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், அவனைப் பார்த்து, அந்தியோகியாவிற்கு அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவந்தான். BSB BSB: Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,
26 ULB அவர்கள் ஒரு வருடம் சபைமக்களோடு இருந்து, அநேக மக்களுக்கு உபதேசம்பண்ணினார்கள். முதன்முதலில் அந்தியோகியாவிலே சீடர்களுக்குக் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் என்கிற பெயர் உண்டானது. BSB BSB: and when he found him, he brought him back to Antioch. So for a full year they met together with the church and taught large numbers of people. The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.
27 ULB அந்த நாட்களிலே எருசலேமிலிருந்து சில தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் அந்தியோகியாவிற்கு வந்தார்கள். BSB BSB: In those days some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
28 ULB அவர்களில் ஒருவனாகிய அகபு என்பவன் எழுந்து, உலகமெங்கும் கொடிய பஞ்சம் உண்டாகும் என்று ஆவியானவராலே அறிவித்தான்; அது அப்படியே கிலவுதியு பேரரசனுடைய நாட்களிலே நடந்தது. BSB BSB: One of them named Agabus stood up and predicted through the Spirit that a great famine would sweep across the whole world. (This happened under Claudius.)
29 ULB அப்பொழுது சீடர்களில் அவரவர்கள் தங்கள் தங்கள் தகுதிக்கேற்ப யூதேயாவில் குடியிருக்கிற சகோதரர்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்ய பணம் சேகரித்து அனுப்பவேண்டுமென்று தீர்மானம்பண்ணினார்கள். BSB BSB: So the disciples, each according to his ability, decided to send relief to the brothers living in Judea.
30 ULB அப்படியே அவர்கள் சேகரித்து, பர்னபா சவுல் என்பவர்களுடைய கையிலே கொடுத்து, மூப்பர்களிடத்திற்கு அனுப்பினார்கள். BSB BSB: This they did, sending their gifts to the elders with Barnabas and Saul.
