BSB BSB: And Saul was there, giving approval to Stephen’s death. On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria.

10 ULB தெய்வத்தின் பெரிய சக்தி இவன்தான் என்று நினைத்து, சிறியோர் பெரியோர் எல்லோரும் அவனுடைய சொல்லைக்கேட்டு வந்தார்கள். BSB BSB: and all the people, from the least to the greatest, heeded his words and said, “This man is the divine power called the Great Power.”
11 ULB அவன் நீண்ட நாட்களாக தன்னுடைய மாயவித்தைகளினாலே அவர்களைப் பிரமிக்கப்பண்ணினதினால் அவனை மதித்துவந்தார்கள். BSB BSB: They paid close attention to him because he had astounded them for a long time with his sorcery.

BSB BSB: But when they believed Philip as he preached the gospel of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

BSB BSB: Even Simon himself believed and was baptized. He followed Philip closely and was astounded by the great signs and miracles he observed.

23 ULB நீ கசப்பான விஷத்திலும் பாவக்கட்டிலும் அகப்பட்டிருக்கிறதாகக் காண்கிறேன் என்றான். BSB BSB: For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and captive to iniquity.”
24 ULB அதற்குச் சீமோன்: நீங்கள் சொன்ன காரியங்களில் ஒன்றும் எனக்கு சம்பவிக்காதபடிக்கு, எனக்காகக் கர்த்தரை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள் என்றான். BSB BSB: Then Simon answered, “Pray to the Lord for me, so that nothing you have said may happen to me.”

He had gone to Jerusalem to worship,

34 ULB மந்திரி பிலிப்பை நோக்கி: தீர்க்கதரிசி யாரைக்குறித்து இதைச் சொல்லுகிறார்? தம்மைக்குறித்தோ, வேறொருவரைக்குறித்தோ? எனக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டும் என்று கேட்டுக்கொண்டான். BSB BSB: “Tell me,” said the eunuch, “who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?”
35 ULB அப்பொழுது பிலிப்பு பேசத்தொடங்கி, இந்த வேதவாக்கியத்தை அடிப்படையாக வைத்து இயேசுவைக்குறித்து அவனுக்குப் போதித்தான். BSB BSB: Then Philip began with this very Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.

BSB BSB: When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, but went on his way rejoicing.

BSB BSB: But Philip appeared at Azotus and traveled through that region, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he came to Caesarea.
