17 ULB எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு வருகிற வழியிலே, அமலேக்கு தேவனுக்குப் பயப்படாமல் உனக்கு எதிராக வந்து, BSB BSB: Remember what the Amalekites did to you along your way from Egypt,
18 ULB நீ இளைத்து சோர்ந்திருக்கும்போது, பின்வருகிற உன் முகாமிலுள்ள பலவீனரையெல்லாம் வெட்டினான் என்பதை நினைத்திரு. BSB BSB: how they met you on your journey when you were tired and weary, and they attacked all your stragglers; they had no fear of God.
19 ULB உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நீ சொந்தமாக்கிக்கொள்ள உனக்குக் கொடுக்கும் தேசத்தின் சுற்றுப்புறத்தாராகிய உன்னுடைய விரோதிகளையெல்லாம் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் விலக்கி, உன்னை இளைப்பாறச்செய்யும்போது, நீ அமலேக்கியர்களின் பெயர் வானத்தின்கீழ் இராமல் அழித்துப்போடக்கடவாய்; இதை மறக்கவேண்டாம். BSB BSB: When the LORD your God gives you rest from the enemies around you in the land that He is giving you to possess as an inheritance, you are to blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.
