1 ULB அப்பொழுது மோசே: அவர்கள் என்னை நம்பமாட்டார்கள்; என்னுடைய வார்த்தையை கேட்கமாட்டார்கள்; கர்த்தர் உனக்குத் தரிசனமாகவில்லை என்று சொல்லுவார்கள் என்றான். BSB BSB: Then Moses answered, “What if they do not believe me or listen to my voice? For they may say, ‘The LORD has not appeared to you.’”
2 ULB கர்த்தர் அவனை நோக்கி: உன்னுடைய கையில் இருக்கிறது என்ன என்றார். ஒரு கோல் என்றான். BSB BSB: And the LORD asked him, “What is that in your hand?” “A staff,” he replied.
3 ULB அதைத் தரையிலே போடு என்றார்; அவன் அதைத் தரையிலே போட்டபோது, அது பாம்பாக மாறியது; மோசே அதற்கு விலகி ஓடினான். BSB BSB: “Throw it on the ground,” said the LORD. So Moses threw it on the ground, and it became a snake, and he ran from it.
4 ULB அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: உன்னுடைய கையை நீட்டி, அதின் வாலைப் பிடி என்றார்; அவன் தன்னுடைய கையை நீட்டி, அதைப் பிடித்தபோது, அது அவனுடைய கையிலே கோலானது. BSB BSB: “Stretch out your hand and grab it by the tail,” the LORD said to Moses, who reached out his hand and caught the snake, and it turned back into a staff in his hand.
5 ULB ஆபிரகாமின் தேவனும் ஈசாக்கின் தேவனும் யாக்கோபின் தேவனுமாக இருக்கிற தங்கள் முன்னோர்களுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்கு தரிசனமானதை அவர்கள் நம்புவதற்கு இதுவே அடையாளம் என்றார். BSB BSB: “This is so that they may believe that the LORD, the God of their fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has appeared to you.”

BSB BSB: Furthermore, the LORD said to Moses, “Put your hand inside your cloak.” So he put his hand inside his cloak, and when he took it out, his hand was leprous, white as snow.

BSB BSB: “Put your hand back inside your cloak,” said the LORD. So Moses put his hand back inside his cloak, and when he took it out, it was restored, like the rest of his skin.

9 ULB இந்த இரண்டு அடையாளங்களையும் அவர்கள் நம்பாமலும், உன்னுடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேட்காமலும் இருந்தால், அப்பொழுது நீ நதியின் தண்ணீரை எடுத்து நிலத்தில் ஊற்று; நதியில் எடுத்த தண்ணீர் காய்ந்த நிலத்தில் இரத்தமாகும் என்றார். BSB BSB: But if they do not believe even these two signs or listen to your voice, take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground. Then the water you take from the Nile will become blood on the ground.”
10 ULB அப்பொழுது மோசே கர்த்தரை நோக்கி: ஆண்டவரே, இதற்கு முன்பாவது, தேவரீர் உமது அடியேனோடு பேசினதற்குப் பின்பாவது நான் பேச்சில் வல்லவன் இல்லை; நான் திக்குவாயும் மந்த நாவும் உள்ளவன் என்றான். BSB BSB: “Please, Lord,” Moses replied, “I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since You have spoken to Your servant, for I am slow of speech and tongue.”
11 ULB அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் அவனை நோக்கி: மனிதனுக்கு வாயை உண்டாக்கியவர் யார்? ஊமையனையும், செவிடனையும், பார்வையுள்ளவனையும், பார்வையற்றவனையும் உண்டாக்கினவர் யார்? கர்த்தராகிய நான் அல்லவா? BSB BSB: And the LORD said to him, “Who gave man his mouth? Or who makes the mute or the deaf, the sighted or the blind? Is it not I, the LORD?
12 ULB ஆதலால், நீ போ; நான் உன்னுடைய வாயோடு இருந்து, நீ பேசவேண்டியதை உனக்குப் போதிப்பேன் என்றார். BSB BSB: Now go! I will help you as you speak, and I will teach you what to say.”
13 ULB அதற்கு அவன்: ஆண்டவரே. நீர் அனுப்ப விரும்புகிற யாரையாவது அனுப்பும் என்றான். BSB BSB: But Moses replied, “Please, Lord, send someone else.”
14 ULB அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயின்மேல் கோபப்பட்டு: லேவியனாகிய ஆரோன் உன்னுடைய சகோதரன் அல்லவா? அவன் நன்றாக பேசுகிறவன் என்று அறிவேன்; அவன் உன்னைச் சந்திக்கப் புறப்பட்டு வருகிறான்; உன்னைக் காணும்போது அவனுடைய இருதயம் மகிழும். BSB BSB: Then the anger of the LORD burned against Moses, and He said, “Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well, and he is now on his way to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.
15 ULB நீ அவனோடு பேசி, அவன் வாயில் வார்த்தைகளைப் போடு; நான் உன்னுடைய வாயிலும் அவனுடைய வாயிலும் இருந்து, நீங்கள் செய்யவேண்டியதை உங்களுக்குக் காட்டுவேன். BSB BSB: You are to speak to him and put the words in his mouth. I will help both of you to speak, and I will teach you what to do.
16 ULB அவன் உனக்குப் பதிலாக மக்களோடு பேசுவான்; இந்தவிதமாக அவன் உனக்கு வாயாக இருப்பான்; நீ அவனுக்கு தேவனாக இருப்பாய். BSB BSB: He will speak to the people for you. He will be your spokesman, and it will be as if you were God to him.
17 ULB இந்தக் கோலையும் உன்னுடைய கையிலே பிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோ, இதனால் நீ அடையாளங்களைச் செய்வாய் என்றார். BSB BSB: But take this staff in your hand so you can perform signs with it.”
18 ULB மோசே தன்னுடைய மாமனாகிய எத்திரோவிடம் வந்து: நான் எகிப்திலிருக்கிற என்னுடைய சகோதரர்களிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப்போய், அவர்கள் இன்னும் உயிரோடு இருக்கிறார்களா என்று பார்க்கும்படிப் புறப்பட்டுப்போக உத்தரவு தரவேண்டும் என்றான். அப்பொழுது எத்திரோ மோசேயை நோக்கி: சுகமாகப் போய்வாரும் என்றான். BSB BSB: Then Moses went back to his father-in-law Jethro and said to him, “Please let me return to my brothers in Egypt to see if they are still alive.” “Go in peace,” Jethro replied.
19 ULB பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மீதியானிலே மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ எகிப்திற்குத் திரும்பிப் போ, உன்னுடைய உயிரை எடுக்கத்தேடின மனிதர்கள் எல்லோரும் இறந்துபோனார்கள் என்றார். BSB BSB: Now the LORD had said to Moses in Midian, “Go back to Egypt, for all the men who sought to kill you are dead.”
20 ULB அப்பொழுது மோசே தன்னுடைய மனைவியையும் தன்னுடைய பிள்ளைகளையும் கழுதையின் மேல் ஏற்றிக்கொண்டு, எகிப்து தேசத்திற்குத் திரும்பினான்; தேவனுடைய கோலையும் மோசே தன்னுடைய கையிலே பிடித்துக்கொண்டு போனான். BSB BSB: So Moses took his wife and sons, put them on a donkey, and headed back to Egypt. And he took the staff of God in his hand.
21 ULB அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ எகிப்திலே திரும்பிப்போய்ச் சேர்ந்தபின்பு, நான் உன்னுடைய கையில் கொடுத்திருக்கிற அற்புதங்கள் யாவையும் பார்வோனுக்கு முன்பாக செய்யும்படி எச்சரிக்கையாக இரு; ஆனாலும், நான் அவனுடைய இருதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்துவேன்; அவன் மக்களைப் போகவிடமாட்டான். BSB BSB: The LORD instructed Moses, “When you go back to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders that I have put within your power. But I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go.
22 ULB அப்பொழுது நீ பார்வோனோடு சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: இஸ்ரவேல் என்னுடைய மகன், என்னுடைய மூத்தமகன். BSB BSB: Then tell Pharaoh that this is what the LORD says: ‘Israel is My firstborn son,
23 ULB எனக்கு ஆராதனை செய்யும்படி என்னுடைய மகனை அனுப்பிவிடு என்று கட்டளையிடுகிறேன்; அவனை விடமாட்டேன் என்று சொன்னால் நான் உன்னுடைய மகனை, உன்னுடைய மூத்தமகனை கொல்லுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொன்னார் என்று சொல் என்றார். BSB BSB: and I told you to let My son go so that he may worship Me. But since you have refused to let him go, behold, I will kill your firstborn son!’”
24 ULB வழியிலே தங்கும் இடத்தில் கர்த்தர் மோசேக்கு எதிராக வந்து, அவனைக் கொல்லநினைத்தார். BSB BSB: Now at a lodging place along the way, the LORD met Moses and was about to kill him.
25 ULB அப்பொழுது சிப்போராள் ஒரு கூர்மையான கல்லை எடுத்து, தன் மகனுடைய நுனித்தோலை அறுத்து, அதை அவனுடைய கால்களுக்கு முன்பாக போட்டு: நீர் எனக்கு இரத்தசம்பந்தமான கணவன் என்றாள். BSB BSB: But Zipporah took a flint knife, cut off her son’s foreskin, and touched it to Moses’ feet. “Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me,” she said.
26 ULB பின்பு அவர் அவனைவிட்டு விலகினார். அப்பொழுது அவள்: விருத்தசேதனத்தினால் நீர் எனக்கு இரத்தசம்பந்தமான கணவன் என்றாள். BSB BSB: So the LORD let him alone. (When she said, “bridegroom of blood,” she was referring to the circumcision.)
27 ULB கர்த்தர் ஆரோனை நோக்கி: நீ வனாந்திரத்தில் மோசேயை சந்திக்கப்போ என்றார். அவன் போய், தேவனுடைய மலையில் அவனைச் சந்தித்து, அவனை முத்தமிட்டான். BSB BSB: Meanwhile, the LORD had said to Aaron, “Go and meet Moses in the wilderness.” So he went and met Moses at the mountain of God and kissed him.
28 ULB அப்பொழுது மோசே தன்னை அனுப்பின கர்த்தருடைய எல்லா வார்த்தைகளையும் அவர் தனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்ட எல்லா அடையாளங்களையும் ஆரோனுக்குத் தெரிவித்தான். BSB BSB: And Moses told Aaron everything the LORD had sent him to say, and all the signs He had commanded him to perform.
29 ULB மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் போய், இஸ்ரவேலர்களுடைய மூப்பர்கள் எல்லோரையும் கூடிவரச் செய்தார்கள். BSB BSB: Then Moses and Aaron went and assembled all the elders of the Israelites,
30 ULB கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குச் சொல்லிய எல்லா வார்த்தைகளையும் ஆரோன் சொல்லி, மக்களின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக அந்த அடையாளங்களையும் செய்தான். BSB BSB: and Aaron relayed everything the LORD had said to Moses. And Moses performed the signs before the people,
31 ULB மக்கள் விசுவாசித்தார்கள்; கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலர்களைச் சந்தித்தார் என்றும், அவர்களுடைய உபத்திரவங்களைக் கண்ணோக்கிப் பார்த்தார் என்றும், அவர்கள் கேட்டபோது, தலைகுனிந்து தொழுதுகொண்டார்கள். BSB BSB: and they believed. And when they heard that the LORD had attended to the Israelites and had seen their affliction, they bowed down and worshiped.
